Private Catching Up With The Past

Code Of Silence
Factory Judge
The team began to split - with Jai’galaar pulling his accompanying beasts, the emerald-skinned Twi’lek warrior stealthily engaging one of the B1s using her powerful abilities, and both Kardek & Gorian breaking off into a lethally-effective duo. Ivory held back for a moment as the brief battle for supremacy of the perimeter began; monitoring her people and pausing to survey the warehouse.

Peering around the corner of a concrete wall, she witnessed Kardek Alpha disable one of the cameras on the side of the building with a thump from a grenade launcher attached to his carbine. In the fading daylight, she almost lost sight of Sam… the man’s powerful optical camouflage was effective enough to conceal him even from Ivory’s keen senses.

Breaking away from the wall, she traveled parallel down the fence-line toward the rear of the warehouse - every one of her senses primed & paying attention to the sudden bursts of activity around her.

A break in the fence allowed her to slip inside the perimeter yards away from where Stardust was beginning to engage one of the B1 Droids, and carefully, Ivory crouched behind a pile of steel cylinders which looked like they’d been sitting for months. She held her blaster low in one hand; watching the approach of her team carefully, while assessing the distance between her position & the building more than two dozen strides away. Kardek’s voice whispered in her ear, informing her of his & Gorian’s position, but as she prepared to respond…

The sudden crack of a blaster-rifle - out of nowhere - split the night, and she immediately recognized the sound as foreign.

It wasn’t one of theirs.

Instinctively, she ducked, broadcasting a warning through her own mic: “Sniper! We’ve been made!” Immediately, she began attempting to ascertain where the shot had come from. “Sam, Kardek, we’ve gotta get inside!”

Jai would keep moving, trying to find a back way around before hearing droids approaching. Oops.... Meh. Distraction would help right? It was then that the call came in. They'd all been had! Karkkarkkark! He looked around before getting an idea, popping up and firing before giving a weird whistle and falling back a bit to a point. He'd quickly his his comm, looking back.

"Fair warning guys. Things are going to get a little noisy." He'd keep running, his two pets near him as he holstered his righthand revolver, pulling out a thermal detonator. He looked back at the droids, noticing a camera. He gave a quick gestor that... well it'd probably get someone mad before throwing the detonator and quickly ducking behind some cargo. His aim was to get near the wall with it, and near the droids. Sadly... being 100% stealthy just wasn't an advantage anymore. Sometimes a little added chaos went a long way to winning in the end though. If anyone was ticked off by this he'd deal with it later.

She made it just a bit into the warehouse when she heard the all too familiar sound of a thermal det beeping down, her feet planted to stop as she coiled up ready to hop back to safety when something hit her, something moving fast enough that she felt her head ring and awkwardly leapt backwards only helped by the Shockwave that sent her flying out covered in smoke. Her body tumbled across the ground as she let a groan out and placed a hand under her as her vision blurred and head pounded, feth she hadn't felt something like that in forever! She was vaguely aware of her HUD blaring warnings and the fact of Ivory Stroud Ivory Stroud warning them of a sniper...yeah no kidding she found it with her head...

As her senses came back slowly pain was replaced with rage, rage that filled her entire body as she flicked the ring away and grinned as she slowly stood half her face shielding clear revealing half a wide smile and a eye of fire

Stay out of my way! Call yourself out if your coming near me!

She called out to the others over the comm, that shot came from high, didn't matter actually, she began to approach again and this time her hands stretched put and fire shot forward towards the rafters lighting them ablaze

hahahaha you wanna play big games! Fine let's go!

She called out to the enemy

Lonely Soul - Unkle
The shot hit square, and the explosion threw her back. Perfect. That should see her dead, or mostly so. He aimed and was about to take another few shots at her body, just to be thorough, when an alert came up on his HUD. It showed a new figure flipping him off! And then he watched this guy throw what could only be a thermal detonator off screen.

The wall he had thrown the grenade to exploded, taking a few droids with it. But through the smoke a B2 would step out, firing its main blaster at Jai as it continued forward on his position.

By the time King looked back to the armored Twi'lek, she was standing and he saw a piece of metal, a ring? Fly off her finger. And then his sensors indicated a massive rise in temperature around her. And he could see into her visor. She was smiling. That... wasn't good. She stretched forth her hand and fire, hotter than any furnace, shot out at the rafters. She missed him, but probably only because she didn't know where he was. He watched the metal turn to liquid, dripping and igniting flames on whatever it fell on. And she was sweeping the flame towards him. He quickly took one more shot, aimed at her torso, hoping he could slow her down or something before he stood and ran along the catwalks.

hahahaha you wanna play big games! Fine let's go!

Force Users were not in the plan, Ada! He jumped, fire blazing right behind him, down onto a tall machine press. He swiveled and took him a second to aim -Dom was the blasted sniper, not him- and fired again. His gun wouldn't make it through that armor, and he didn't have the equipment to fight FU's. Plus, it had always been his policy to fight them with... droids! He tapped on his wrist module again, sending a squad of B1's and a couple B2's to her position. They'd try to surround her, firing the instant she came within range.

“For the moment.” Was Exel’s reply to the Gunslinger without needing to look back, perhaps a hint of mild amusement being heard from beneath all the modulation of the helm. Being used as a shield was often-times voluntary in his time as a bodyguard, for his armor and accompanying systems could handle and deal a hefty amount of punishment in equal measure. He would have little issue doing so now when Kardek was adorned in little more than a business suit.

Things went from smooth to chaotic with the next tick of the clock, as it usually seemed to in most of the Bounty Hunter’s jobs. It was not met with annoyance, for the inconvenience was something that was merely expected in his line of work - rather, it just meant he had to accelerate the timeline to account for the changes. A good Hunter always had to be ready to adapt as a situation evolved, and he bore that rule in mind closely as his visor tilted to Ivory Stroud Ivory Stroud , who spoke with an urgency as she seemed to accompany the small duo that had split off - now a trio. A sniper, somewhere.

A swifter command saw the HUD flicker through the settings once more as his head tilted towards the wall - exterior of the Compound. Several views brought up and sorted by its intricate systems; X-Ray, Thermal, Motion. They could only gather so much, but any information was a valuable asset in this situation. “There are fainter thermal readings deeper in. They don’t seem to be on-level.” Spoke through the comms with another seamless switch to them from the helmet. There was a silent contemplation of what to do thereafter, before he came to a decision. Given the sounds in the distance, this was no longer a stealth op. Samuel would back away from the wall, “Clear the way.” In a gruff warning, as his wrist aimed towards it, with his other hand held over to better ensure precision. “Making an entry point on my vector.”

From his wrist came an exceedingly-hot plasma, not dissimilar in power to the Lightsabers wielded by the Sorcerers he so despised. If there was anything he admired about them, it was their usage of such a curious piece of technology - the reasoning for which was made clear as day. Up, side, down, he traced across the wall a soon-to-be doorway. When finished, his hands went to his side to holster his sidearm, and unsling his carbine to return it to its firm hold in his hands. “We might have a few moments of surprise, make the most of it.”

With that, he shifted to apply what force he needed with the heel of his durasteel-cleeted foot to send that section of the wall tumbling down. He wasted little time in moving for those aforementioned dull thermal signatures, more than likely forced to let blaster fire ring out to leave intercepting droids as ventilated husks in his wake.

Unfortunately, not everything here was a droid.

"You might be more practical, I admit…" Kardek commented back to Samuel Exel Samuel Exel without turning as his smirk grew, "…but damn, do I look good."

As Ivory's order came in, Kardek nodded. "Copy that!" He backed away from the wall as Sam created their own opening. As the Mercenary breached through, he followed right behind him, weapon drawn. He would focus his initial fire on the unsuspecting droids around them on the floor level, but then shift as he saw Stardust Solus Skirae Stardust Solus Skirae focusing her… energy… on the scaffolding above. Kardek dove behind a crate for cover, then pivoted around so as to get a shot at the enemy above.

Thump. Thump. Thump.

His grenade launcher launched repeatedly at the scaffolding, attempting to accompany Star's barrage as the explosions served to create even more chaos and destruction.

Thump.
King looked up from his wrist just in time move his head out of the way of a flying grenade! His reflexes were still working, but where did that-
Thump.
King rolled to the side, avoiding another one. The two grenades exploded somewhere behind him in the old factory, but little worry to him. He sighted in on the one launching grenades and fired off one shot before...
Thump.
By the Force!
The grenade hit infront of him, the explosion sending him flying into another catwalk. His armor protected him but something cracked as he fell back down onto the ground. He groaned and reached for his comm device. "Ana!" He croaked out, coughing. "Ana, Dom brought some friends and they are heavily armed! Have you killed that sonova queen yet?"
A dark form, hidden and waiting watched two more sentients enter. One more finely dressed wielding a grenade launcher, the other armored and slicing through the door. The second began moving quickly, shooting at droids. Time to go on the hunt. He swung from his position to land directly infront of Samuel Exel Samuel Exel . His landing would shake the ground. Standing up he reached nearly seven feet tall. Whatever race he belonged to was hidden behind the armor. He cracked his knuckles and popped his neck. "Hi." Came out through the voice modulator, deep and gravely with a smile behind it. Then he threw his helmeted head towards' Sam's.

The shot connected, she lurched back and stumbled back before she stopped and stood tall on her feet as she let a roar of pain out and then laughed

what! You tried it once it didn't work and you hahaha you shot me again! You got some massive freaking-

She was cut off as a heavy blaster bolt smacked into her side, now THAT she felt and it was a hot feeling! Turning she looked the b2 droid in the eye as she placed a blaster away and pulled her saber out ignited the energy sword as she blocked a few shots before she fired rapidly into the b2, more droids came to surround her as shots rang out off her armor causing her to grunt as she pulled a b1 close and hit it with shatterpoint before she threw the pieces into the other droids and started forward with a growl cutting one lone b2 down

blow his shebs to high hell! I want him personally~

She started forward towards kings position, rapidly approaching till she was out him saber and blaster pointed at his face

that was fun...but I think this is checkmate

Gunfire & explosions began in earnest, with Star drawing a bit more fire (ironically) than the others. Multiple rifle-shots & an explosion thundered only a short distance from where Ivory had found a spot of cover. The moment before the grenade detonated, the Donna crouched even lower behind the stack of metal pipes she was huddled behind & opened her mouth - a trick to protect her ears from injury as the concussive wave washed over her. Debris pinged atop the thin corrugated metal roof two meters above her head.

She heard the Twi’lek warrior laughing - taunting whoever her assailant was - and peeked out from behind the metal pipes at a perfect moment to watch Star get struck in the side by a blaster bolt. Ivory involuntarily winced, but when Star didn’t go down, she pulled a face of approval.

Deciding she’d better move before she, too, came under fire, the raven-haired killer shifted position; moving to the opposite end of the stack of pipes, where she could see both Sam & Kardek beginning to make entry - Sam, charging into the door, and Kardek readying his grenade launcher.

Her people were doing what they did best. Bringing fire & fury.

The time for motion was upon her, and Ivory seized the moment - springing from her hiding spot and using the ensuing chaos to cover her mad dash from a place of cover toward the warehouse itself.

Choosing a different approach than the hole in the wall created by Samuel Exel, Ivory angled herself toward the side of the building. As she ran, she scooped up a fallen blaster rifle from one of the B-1s that had been felled in the initial outbreak of gunfire. With her FDS pistol in her left hand and the blaster rifle in her right, she would quickly duck out of sight around the corner and disappear.

HlLr6G6.png

A window. Cracked, broken, and clearly forgotten. It provided the perfect point in entry to the lithe killer. When it wouldn’t open, Ivory simply took the butt of the blaster rifle she’d acquired and shattered the glass. The cover of another thunderous explosion on the other side of the building (she hoped) would cover the sound of her sneaky entrance into the warehouse.

For the second time in ten minutes, she inwardly cursed herself for wearing an outfit entirely not suited for close-quarters combat. When her skirt wouldn’t accommodate the level of agility she needed to still protect her dignity & climb through the window, she simply tore one of the seams at her thigh to allow for a better range of motion.

Surely a five-thousand credit skirt was worth the life of one Dominik Borra.

She dropped through the window to land, cat-footed & silent, on the dusty permacrete floor of the warehouse's dark interior. She waited, taking a tactical pause long enough to be sure she was alone. Before standing, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, filling her lungs with the smell of musty, poorly-circulated air. The scent of old chemicals, rust, and layers of dirt filled her nose, but she ignored these smells - focusing on quieting her mind. The sounds of gunfire quickly faded from her periphery as she looked inward, drawing upon the hidden tide of The Living Force as her heartbeat thundered in her chest.

Her senses stretched outward, winding from her conscious mind like tendrils; prowling every hidden nook & cranny of the building as she envisioned the layout. A powerful sense of calm & control washed over her as she stretched out through The Force, finding that she could perceive not only the familiar presence of those she’d grown close to over the months & years, but others. These were foreign to her; beings of focus & will, who were defending what they considered their prey. An air of violence hovered over everything, even consuming the shadows of the abandoned storage building. Instantly, Ivory could recognize the tell-tale imprints of countless souls who’d suffered within these walls… people who’d been tortured, murdered, felt fear & terror or great sadness.

But, it took her only a few seconds to finally locate the one presence she was seeking.

Somewhere below her feet, hidden from sight, there was a battle being waged not only of body, but of mind.

Dominik, for all his skills, was in trouble. Grave trouble.

When Ivory opened her eyes again, her brow was furrowed & her lips held a grim line of determination.

She rose silently to her feet, and began to move through the warehouse like a spectre; fading into the shadows as-if she had become one of them. Nearby, a stairwell would take her into the dark depths of a lower level. It was there that she would find her quarry...

And her prey.

Explosions rocked the building. Dust fell from the ceiling. Blood was filling Dominik's shoe. That squelching sound made it impossible to continue to move quietly. She came at him again, metal leg falling. He caught it with his robotic arm, sparks flying as their prosthetics met, and stabbed forward with a small knife he always carried. She leapt and twisted, her other leg coming up to throw Dominik against a wall, landing on her toes like a dancer. Dominik crumpled like so much beaten trash, only barely staying on his feet by leaning on the solid wall. Every inch he moved left smears and bloody handprints. He panted but there wasn't enough air down here, but smiled when he saw the line of red on her belly, cut through her shirt. He had got her, just barely, with that knife. The barrel of her gun wasn't a foot from his face.

He moved, despite what it cost him in vision and pain, and caught the blaster. The blast shattered the wall next to him but with quick disciplined motions he struck at her like a martial artist. Except she lifted her metal leg up to cover her torso and Dominik felt something in his hand break when he punched it, she blocked his left arm with a neat sweep of her own arm and smacked him in the head with the butt of her pistol. That made Dominik go down on his back. She pointed the blaster at him again.

"I'm not making the same mistake you made, Dominik." She squeezed the trigger.

Fire, Mandalorian, Twi'lek, that voice? King panted from within his helmet. It was modeled after Mandalorian's but the visor was much wider and the cheeks came out instead of caving in. "Checkmate? Stardust, I think you mean King takes Rook!" He swept his arm to knock aside the saber, the phrik coating of his gauntlets protecting him for the brief moment, pulled his own short-barreled scattergun blaster on her, aimed up for that helmet and fired. At the same time several B2's stepped from the shadows, all firing their heavy blasters at Star. Whether alive or dead, King would do his best to turn, get to his feet, and run.

Her name, he knew her, honestly she wasn't so surprised about this she was rather proud and ensured her name was very well known alongside her penchant for fire. However she hadn't expected his armor to be made of a material resistant to her saber so when it was pushed away her blaster moved to aim and fire but was swiftly met with a scattering and was thrown backwards as her hud faltered and glitched out

The ringing in her ears was terrible alongside the pain, she for a moment was vaguely aware of being shot at and hit by the droida before she growled and focused that pain into anger to fuel herself

oh YOUR fun!

She said as she reached back with the force and began to crumple the b2 super battle droids before she threw one then another following the last as she laughed

so king is it huh! I think then since you know me you'll know I ain't no rook! I'm the thing a kingdom fears!

A burst of flame shot out, she was purely looking through the slit in her visor and using the force to sense things...she definitely was gonna feel this when it all wore off

A motion ping and reactions alerted him to the arrival of a new figure, dropping down in front of him as if making some grand entrance. They looked almost casual as they adjusted themselves. Standing at about, if not equal to the height of the opposing armored figure, Samuel's own visor blankly stared across for a moment. Perhaps he was compelled to take a closer point in the assailants’ harm. Maybe he merely thought he could use the practice. For the moment, the reason would remain unclear and the carbine found itself slung regardless of the matter. “Hello.” Came a tone that opposed any sort of glee or enjoyment; a cold and callous greeting, little more than a mockery of a formality.

He would be lying if he said he was expecting a headbutt, of all things. A swift jab meant to catch him off-guard, maybe, but not that. Such a brash action was not often seen, even by him; it wasn’t practical. But there was one mistake his opponent had made.

They didn’t strike at first sight, when they had the chance.

With no intention of taking a Keldabe kiss, his hard-pressed reaction would see his hands reach and attempt to grasp the individual’s head before redirecting the momentum downwards into a swift knee to the faceplate. He never took explicit joy in his work - it was merely business, nothing more. To mix it with pleasure would only dilute the product. Exel would take a personal hand in impressing this fact on his unknown opponent.

Jai took a breath and looked up. Well.... A decent sized hole in the wall. That was one way inside. He quickly gave a whistle, firing a few more rounds as he slid into the opening, his pets in tow, before giving one last gift to the remaining droids outside. In fact, once he was sure no one was around, he'd give a quick "Better luck next time" in Mando'a. But it was then that he heard fighting somewhere close by. That wasn't good. He slowly stowed his pistols and pulled out he rifle, and being sure he loaded slugs, before following the sound, hopefully he'd be able to help wherever this was. He ran out, leveling the rifle down any corrador he passed. Couldn't be too careful. He honestly wasn't sure what he was about to walk into though.

Kardek Alpha

I’m Kardek, He’s Alpha
Kardek saw the man aiming at him as he prepared to fire the last grenade, choosing in the moment to pull his own trigger despite this fact. Hopefully his distraction would be sufficient for the Emerald Dragon to gain the upper edge, even if it resulted in some harm to his frame in the process.

As he pulled the trigger, he felt a sharp pain as the sniper shot struck the side of his skull, causing his head to jerk to the side form the impact. He quickly pulled himself behind cover, already experiencing a strong sense of dizziness as he leaned against the crate and touched the wound gingerly, attempting to assess the damage. pulling his fingers into his line of sight, they were covered with blood.

"Damn lucky shot." He growled irritably as his concern for his own well being continued to grow. Hearing Stardust engaging much more closely with the man gave him some sense of accomplishment, knowing that the man would likely be no match for Star up close.

Now his attentions turned to a series of droids that could be heard approaching his position. He turned through blurred and bloodied vision to witness Samuel Exel Samuel Exel now engaging with a mysterious hostile. Samuel could surely hold his own, so the gunslinger would choose to cover his back and engage the approaching droids.

He finally gave up on keeping his right eye open, due to the blood from the wound, and closed it tightly. Raising the carbine, he awaited tensely for the droids to round the corner before lighting them up.

King's back exploded with pain and he stumbled to lean against a machine. The roar of flame had him looking up, his visor reflecting the increasing light of the fire coming at him. He shouted in surprise and panic as he tried to throw himself to one side. The thermal gel layering did well to disperse the heat, but his skin felt like hot coffee had been poured on it. He scrambled away best he could, armor glowing with heat.

Ana hadn't replied, hadn't said anything over comms. He thought about telling her that he was out, that if he didn't die he was leaving anyhow. But if Ana survived, and she had a pension for doing so, she'd track him down and kill him for leaving. Screw the psycho. Screw fighting Stardust and other friends of Dominik. He was getting out of here.

He turned corners and hobbled to a window, one that was... broken? Someone else had gotten inside, someone who passed by his cameras and sensors. Who cared anyhow? They were all inside now blowing up the place.

Nfg578H.png

The white armored knee slammed into the opaque faceplate of the helmet. The figure recoiled a step before springing back like rubber, sending killing right hook aimed at Sam's head. If it connected he'd follow up with a jap with his left knee into his body before his left arm would come down from the sky to slam into his head and hopefully send him to the ground.

The droids were thinning out, members of The Family doing damage to their numbers very quickly. The ones encrouching on Kardek's position were eliminated one by one by his carbine, sparking and jerking before falling motionless to the floor. There were only 3 B1's left around Kardek, and the last B2 droid, heavily armored and with a powerful wrist blaster, stepped around the corner and leveled it at Kardek.

"I'm not making the same mistake you made, Dominik." She squeezed the trigger.

"In Love & War, Timing is Everything."

Violence had become as common a thing as breathing, living on the razor's edge as many in The Family did. Violence was a thing one either suffered, or suffered upon another - but murder was never a thing to enjoy. Vengeance, so the saying went, was a dish best served cold... and Ivory, perhaps to her credit, had driven this philosophy deep into the minds of those she gathered around her. She did not employ monsters, serial killers, or those in love with the act of dealing death.

But there were times when such an outlook was to be cast aside. There were times - albiet rare, indeed - when she, herself, had relished the thrill of the hunt... the act of drawing blood. She'd never been one, in all her years, to trust in "the powers that be" to see justice done to those who deserved it. Instead, she'd taken such justice into her own hands. For better, or worse.

As Ivory crept, silent as a wraith, down the stairs and into the submerged basement below the warehouse, the thunderous explosions above shook the building - reminding her of a warzone. The sounds of battle in the distance told her her soldiers were still hard at work; dealing death with fury & fire. Ivory crept toward the edge of a corner, reaching the end of a hallway which turned left. She peered around the corner, recognizing a dark, decrepit, dusty subterranean space filled with old metal shelving. The sound of voices somewhere within, punctuated by the sounds of close-combat, drew her attention immediately.

A woman with metal legs, looking quite exotic, stood over a dark form laying on the dirty permacrete floor further inside. Ivory could discern puddles of a dark color which appeared black in the low light, and her sense of smell detected the tell-tale coppery odor of spilled blood. She gritted her teeth, violet eyes piercing the darkness as she crouched low, using the cover of a metal shelf to get closer.

An instant before the woman pulled the trigger, Ivory pointed the blaster rifle like the stabbing, accusatory finger of some avenging angel, and depressed the trigger - aiming a burst of violent light toward the base of the woman's spine; relying on the poor spread to strike something - anything - from her thighs & buttocks to her head & shoulders.

The moment she stopped firing, she stepped out from around her patch of concealment, every muscle in her body primed for immediate motion. She didn't choose to speak... the words simply flowed from her lips, dripping venom and furious rage.

"You already made a mistake, b!tch."

She squeezed the trigger just as a blaster bolt hit her in her shoulder. Ana's shot went an inch wide and blew a hole next to Dominik's head, and her hand weakened, dropping the blaster to the floor. Ana only grunted as her flesh charred, a surprised and frustrated sound. She pivoted on her back foot, another bolt burning through the back of her shirt and blackening skin there, while her front leg rose up, shin and foot pointed to the ground. Her metal shin separated and opened, a blue translucent energy shield manifesting to cover her profile and block the remainder of Ivory Stroud Ivory Stroud 's shots. Her balance like that of a dancer's, perfect and unwavering as she stood on one foot, glaring at Ivory through the light of the shield for interrupting her hunt. And then she smiled.

"You always had the worst luck, Dom." She said without taking her eyes off of the approaching woman. "I don't know who this goth b!tch is or who's upstairs, but once I kill both of you, they're next." Dominik could do nothing but lay there and make sure he kept breathing. "Watch out! Her legs!" He cried, voice weak and pained.

Ana moved. She leapt forward and planted her shield-leg down halfway between Ivory and where Ana had stood a moment ago, shield still protecting her, before she sprung up to spin, kick off the ceiling and bring her back leg down in a crushing blow toward Ivory. Her leg strikes following would be a flurry of spins, low and high jabs and twirls, always bringing that shield-leg back up and returning to a starting form before unleashing more strikes, throwing those heavy metal legs around to crush and break her opponent.

Her sabers dragged across machinery and walls echoing the sound of the blades cutting thro8gh the material and adding to the burnt smell in the air

you were bold to attack me directly, but I think you overestimated your own abilities

She spoke in a sinister tone as she purposely stayed just a few steps behind his own, as she turned the corner she spotted him against a broken window. Her saber raised and impaled inches from his neck as her blaster was pressed into the cracks of his armor

check mate, queen takes king

She could've easily pulled the trigger or moved her bladed, but through her damaged visor her eyes that had the fiery rage tempered down and her saber shut off as her hand grabbed his neck and lifted him

not many boldy go toe to toe with me and live, much less inflicted damage to me, so I shall give you two choices. One, I throw you out and if you come back I will ensure a casket isn't needed...or two, I throw you out, you run off, but you think about something for me

She pulled a communicator out and placed it into a pocket

you've impressed me enough I've considered...employment for your skills...should you accept that is. If you don't accept nothing happens you run off living and cam boast you fought the dragon and lived...now then...run along king

She pulled her arm back and tossed him out the window and without looking back she turned to go back into the fray

Only the short few exchanges, did the fact dawn on him. Didn’t Dominik mention an ‘old crowd’? Children, fighting eachother? Sith academies, taught from birth? Unfortunately, his ruminations were cut short as one of the B1 Units had crept around the corner, the AI behind the dark visor alerting him frantically to its presence and forcing him to tear his attention from his opposition. As soon as the B1 pressed down on the trigger, however, it was struck down by none other than the Gunslinger, Kardek Alpha Kardek Alpha , whom he certainly preferred to have at his back in this moment to any of the other individuals.

Yet in that split second of diverted attention, his helm turned back to meet a fearsome right-hook by the black-clad adversary. The right hook struck with the dull thud of metal upon metal, the barely audible grunt of a ‘Hff,’ beneath the helm. The armor was more than adept at keeping serious damage from affecting him, and much like his opponent, his head snapped back forwards to see the next move coming - even with the strong hit.

His other foot slid back to compensate, narrowly avoiding the quick jab to it that could’ve compromised his foothold. Exel’s palm then met the fist of the overhead, and attempted to twist the arm aside - its windup slow enough to catch, the armor rapidly adjusting with a powerful grip that could potentially crush the bones of foes that weren’t prepared to meet it. With the contest of strength more than likely too close for comfort, he would turn and try to allow the momentum to lead the figure past him - like a raging bull being led on to give himself space. He’ll admit, his foe seemed just as relentless as he, but being relentless was only part of the battle.

“You’re from his old crowd, aren’t you?” With a mildly annoyed, tempered huff of annoyance and exertion. “I pity you,” With no further context, his left palm went for a swift jab to the sternum - a distraction, more than anything else.

There was little time to waste with the life of another on the line. He was not here for idle combat - and his current underperformance was not conducive to that. Neither side seemed willing to relent or even give an inch of ground. At any rate, it'd be a slugging match until the first fell. He had no time for that, and so came the real reason for shouldering the carbine earlier; to make it seem as if he was naught more than a mere bruiser, someone with a notion that a fight is determined solely by who was stronger. Instead, his guile would seek to give him the upper hand, as his opposite wrist turned up to expel a swift, focused gout of white-hot plasma in the direction of the figure, intent on burning him from the inside-out of his Beskar-clad shell. "But you're not worth playing fair." Came a callous growl from beneath the helm.

Regardless of whether they avoided it or not, a swifter surge of movement saw Exel move low and attempt a sweep of the legs, having used the stream of plasma akin to a mask of this next action. As his systems grew more acclimated to its current situation, adapting and supporting him - as if merely an extension of his body - so too did he ease more into close combat from the slowly clearing rust.

King jumped for the window when something like lightning lit up his back. He fell back to the ground, gasping in pain. Stardust wasn't far behind, she'd kill him when she found him, and he had to get out of here! He stood up on shaky feet to try again.

ZHRWAM!

A saber dug itself next to his head and he whipped around to find Star's blaster pushed into his armor. He gulped and waited for that hot sting, for the dark of unconciousness. But it never came.

check mate, queen takes king

her saber shut off as her hand grabbed his neck and lifted him

not many boldy go toe to toe with me and live, much less inflicted damage to me, so I shall give you two choices.

King couldn't speak, too impressed with his own luck and wondering if she really would let him live. And then he was being tossed through the window.

He hit the ground and rolled, gasping and making small pained noises. He struggled to get back up, looking to the window of the warehouse. She was gone. He let out a sigh of relief and looked to his wrist module for commanding the droids. It was broken. They'd continue their current orders, nothing King could do now. But it wasn't like most of them were surviving anyway. Such expensive security, all wasted. He cursed the warehouse and Ana, and hobbled away.

The heavy blocky fist connected but the white warrior came back to redirect his downward strike. The man wasn't strong enough to flip his bigger opponent, but with his grip on the arm the man in black relented and stumbled to the side.

“You’re from his old crowd, aren’t you?” With a mildly annoyed, tempered huff of annoyance and exertion. “I pity you,”

Then the white warrior struck him in he sternum, something that bounded off his armor and superior physique. He looked down at where he struck, doing nothing. "I pity you, weakling. You die with your friend tonight." He saw the right hand and grabbed it by the wrist, intending to squeeze and twist to snap it when white-hot plasma shot out into his face. The armor and thermal gel could only do so much, his face instantly far too hot and the electronics in the helmet shorting out. Reflexively he put his hands in front of the fire, grunting in pain as now his hands started to burn.

The fire stopped and there was movement. He swung his hands out widely but the white warrior had gone down and swept the larger man's legs out from under him. He landed with a solid metallic thunk, and an animalistic growl. "You're pissing me off."

From his prone position he lifted and swung his large leg to batter Samuel away and using that momentum to flip back to his feet, hands clenched infront of him. This white warrior had some tricks, but so did he. He charged the white warrior, roaring a battle cry as his hands spread out wide. He'd try to catch and immobilize him before lifting him up high, and swinging and throwing him into the smartly dressed man behind him. He'd follow it up with a knee to the first head coming up from the ground.
