  • Major Locations:

The Imperial Palace: A former Sith Temple converted to a massive castle that is home to whoever the Emperor is. This castle is heavily armed, and defended. It has 2 Legions of Clone Troopers inside of it, and Three Legions of Battle Droids. It has a staff of servants, and caretakers that live in the Palace.
  • Abandoned Sith Temple:Built on top of an abandoned Jedi temple, this temple was established in an effort to locate the crystal mines that lay hidden beneath the Jedi temple.
  • Abandoned Jedi Temple: The age of this temple is unknown, but by the time of the Galactic Empire, it had long since been abandoned. It now sits beneath the Sith temple, with the only access to it being from within the temple above.
  • The Crystal Caves: These largely forgotten and untouched caves rest beneath the abandoned Jedi temple. (Kyber?)
  • Sentinel Headquarters: Sentinel Headquarters is the HQ of the Security and Law Enforcement of the planet. This is a pure white colored fortress.
  • Syn’Vai Temple: The Syn’Vai Temple is located right next to the Palace. It is large enough to house ten legions of each division, as well as five legions of Clone Troopers.
  • The Arena: The only place Force Users (Jedi and Sith) are allowed to fight on the planet. This is also used to settle disputes. The Arena is also used for emergency Imperial Elections in case the Emperor dies.

  • Population: Moderate
  • Demographics: 30% (Humans) 20% (Narrikians) Clones (20%) Duros (10%) Mandalorians (10%)
  • Primary Languages: Galactic Basic
  • Culture: Gulmian culture has it’s variations from clan to clan, but there is an overall sense of placing duty, strength, and honor at the forefront of their minds. Whether this takes the form of a warrior, or a criminal adhering to a strict code of conduct, these ideals can be found in some form across all facets of Gulmian society. This idea bleeds over into how the Gulmians conduct warfare as well, avoiding the nastier, “dishonorable” methods of war, such as biological warfare.
  • Another thing of note is the inherent sense of honorable competition that can be found within Gulmian society. Being a melting pot driven by merit and honor, there is a general air of natural competitiveness on Gulma. There are limitations to this, however, as Gulmians will take care to not overstep the boundaries of their laws.

GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
  • Government: Imperial-Republic
  • Force User Faction: The Syn’Vai: The Syn’Vai is the official Force User Group of the planet. Neutral aligned, they do not follow the teachings of either Jedi or Sith. They instead have a code of their own styled similar to that of Samurai Warriors. Above all, the Syn’Vai are loyal to the Emperor, to the point of dying for the Emperor in battle. To them, Light, or Dark, doesn’t matter. Of the SYn’Vai there are four divisions:
  • The Chroniclers: The Lore keepers of the Syn’Vai. They never see the battlefield. Their job is the accumulation of knowledge, and collection of relics. When they go out, they’re accompanied by a Ronin Squad, and a Sage Squad. Sometimes they’re sent out on diplomatic missions as well.
  • The Ronins: The Ronins are masters of weapons and direct combat with an opponent.
  • The Sages: The Sages are highly powerful / gifted with the Force. It is their job to combat enemy Force Users. They’re encouraged to use the Light Side of the Force.
  • The Wraiths: The Wraiths are the Emperor’s shadows. Answering directly to him, these are the cream of the crop. When they’re sent out, you know you’re pretty much screwed. They are encouraged to use the Dark Side of the Force.

  • How the Monarchy is chosen: Every year, on a specific day the crown of the Emperor and his garments are hidden somewhere on the planet. A battle royale with nonlethal weapons is held to claim the crown, and garments, scepter, and weapons. . Whoever manages to get the items, and keep them for 1 standard month is the new Emperor. The previous Emperor becomes advisor to the current Emperor. This is not an inheritable position. Should the Emperor die, an emergency election with one representative from each clan will be chosen. They will fight in the Arena.
  • How the Staff is chosen: Staff for the Monarchy are chosen much the same way, but in certain periods throughout the year. This is not an inheritable position.
  • There are two Emperors. One who rules during the day, and the other that rules during the night. The Emperor of the Day usually uses the Light side, the Emperor of the Night, the Darkside. Their wives also have authority equal to their own. Polygamy is encouraged in order to have large bloodlines.
  • Affiliation: The planet is ruled by Taji Nelson, and his company, Nelson Amalgamated.
  • Wealth: Wealthy (The planet has rare plants, Lightsaber Crystals, and the like.)
  • Stability: High
  • Freedom & Oppression: Murder, Assault, and most heinous crimes are forbidden planetside, however stealing, and gambling is allowed. In a way, mirroring the odd contrast of society one finds if they live here. You can steal to survive, but hurting someone in most ways (but most especially anything physical) will likely get you a visit from the Wraiths.
    MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
  • Military: Gulma is defended by both a mix of Scum and Villainy, as well as legions of Clone Troopers. As well as Mandalorians, and whoever else would be more interested in Gulma staying as is, versus whoever is doing he attacking; One day an attack here might be viable, another day; it might be suicide. All depends on whose home, and what their purpose is.
  • Technology: Slightly Above Galactic Standard
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
he Galactic Empire subjugated the peoples of Gulma, shipping the Gulmarid off as experimental fodder for Mir Tork and Leonis Murthé. The planet was stripped of its natural resources, and left to rot as a barren, uninhabitable wasteland. When the New Republic came to power, it managed to free many Gulmarid from the Azgoghk, returning them to their homeworld - though they soon found Gulma was no longer capable of supporting life. The entire Gulmarid species was brought to extinction until a survivor, Slique Brighteyes, hired Boba Fett to destroy the Azgoghk in 10 ABY.

Eventually the planet was discovered by Taji. A DNA sample of Brighteyes was discovered by Taji and many were cloned. They were housed in spaceships around the planet, until the Terraforming of the world was done.

Eventually the planet was deemed suitable. Those on the fringes of society from across the cosmos were collected, and offered a deal. They would be given places to live, so long as they helped bring Gulma into the Galactic fold so to speak. The ones gathered agreed, as they needed fresh starts on life.

Cities were built that float in the air to preserve the land of the planet. Cloning Facilities were added to produce a military for the planet, as were droid factories. Discovering ancient Jedi / Sith Temples on the ground, Taji decided rich would live on the surface, while the poor would live in the floating cities.

That is plagiarism which is against the General Rules and the Codex/Factory Rules.

As you can see this is neither a small excerpt nor is it clearly marked.

This submission can be 2nd Chanced in the Codex 2nd Chance Forum when the Codex and Factory ban has lifted on 10/20/2021.
