- Like all products of Byblos Star Drives, the Bulwark Mark V comes equipped with a Hypermatter Annihilator System, allowing it to create an enormous amount of power for its various systems and sub-systems which means it can operate for far longer than normal battle cruisers of the same classification currently in operation across the galaxy.
- Formidable Vessel
- The Bulwark Mark V is quite the formidable vessel comparable to its Mandalorian Users coming equipped with a massive array of weapon batteries and missile launchers to defend itself with, such as Hypervelocity Cannons and Mass Driver Cannons to penetrate through standard shielding arrays. Additionally - it also comes equipped with extensive shield arrays allowing it to shrug of damage that might cripple other vessels.
- Several Command Bridges
- Unique to the Bulwark Mark V is that it has comes equipped with several command bridges spread across its hull to keep the battle cruiser to prevent total collapse of command should the primary command bridge be destroyed or be rendered in operational during an engagement.
- Low Maneuverability
- In order to make room for addtional armaments and shielding arrays across the Battle Cruiser Model, Byblos Star Drives had to drop much of the maneuverability standard place amongst their products. While this does not seriously affect the Cruiser's combat ability against other vessels of the same classification it does raise the risk of starfighters and smaller craft moving behind it, allowing them to assault the engines with a well placed blast.
- Low Speed
- The bulkiness of the Cruiser Model happens to decrease its overall speed stats by a wide margin, making the Bulwark Mark V unable to catch up with faster vessels currently in operation across the galaxy such as corvettes and smaller starfighter craft. While normally this would not pose a considerable problem it does raise the risk of being focused-fired upon; leaving it unable to properly evade.
The Bulwark Mark V Battle Cruiser stands as a remarkable evolution of the original Bulwark Mark III Battle Cruiser, crafted by the TransGalMeg Industries, Incorporated after the Clone Wars and still in use by the time of the Vong Conflict. However, it has undergone extensive modernization efforts to adapt to the ever-changing nature of today's tumultuous battlefields.
As the Mandalorian-Alliance War continues to threaten system after system, Byblos Star Drives seized the opportunity to explore the Mandalorian Weapon Market despite opposition from MandalMotors and Kestri Hypernauntics to name a few, they managed to create a formidable battle cruiser that serves as a main attack vessel for Mandalorian Warriors across the galaxy.
This state-of-the-art vessel is outfitted with extensive weaponry specifically designed to take on the most formidable opponents within the galaxy, such as Imperial Remnants from the Old New Imperial Order and the Armada of the Sith Empire. While not the largest battle cruiser currently available on the galactic market, its extensive shielding and bulky armor make it enough of tank to overwhelm even 5,000 meter cruisers in enough numbers.
One cannot overlook the significant drawbacks of this vessel, primarily its limited maneuverability and sluggish speed. These shortcomings render it susceptible to being outmaneuvered on the battlefield, especially by a skilled tactician.
