  • Autosteady Gyro-Gimbal
  • Heavy Targeting Optics
  • Built-in Combat Sensor
  • Cautionary Pulser
  • Screen on the back to show Ammo Count, Mode, additional information.
  • Adjustable Sonic Weapon; On-Board internal computers allow for the usage of multiple fire modes, and sensors can automatically adjust sonic frequencies based on species on the fly.
    • Sonic Stunner: Non-Lethal, using frequencies that limit pain and prioritize KO time/disorientation, similar to the Sil-50. Fires a bolt of compressed sonic energy that targets the central nervous system and overloads Droid systems. Highly Effective, and can knock foes unconscious for several hours on higher settings.
    • Wide-Beam Pulse: Similar to the SonoMax-75, the pistol allows for a pulse of sonic energy in adjustable cones and ranges that are practically equivalent to hitting people with a Stun Grenade. This pistol specifically has a wide amount of ranges and options, thanks to the processing power - you never know when you might be fighting multiple opponents at once and how many!
  • Features a slightly adjustable Stun Blaster - Its firing mechanisms are assisted in part by Disruptor Firing mechanisms to output a much greater energy pulse compared to a majority of Stun Blasters. Even Armored Targets are likely to fall prey to its bolts, all while remaining entirely nonlethal.
    • Standard: A souped up Stun Bolt that the blaster was originally programmed with. It was typically used to deal with criminals who thought it a good idea to focus more on armor, less on insulating and bodygloves.
    • PEP: When targets need a little more than spiced up Stun Bolts to go down, the PEP setting offers a Non-lethal Kinetic option. The force it outputs, which was already impressive, is boosted by the Disruptor Components. This makes it more like a single-target concussion rifle than a pistol, often generating such a high amount of kinetic energy that would knock foes clean off their feet, possibly KO them outright. Those hit suffer from bruising and soreness in affected areas, and likely are in too much pain to put up any kind of fight for a while.
  • Thanks to the usage of FM-001, more complicated electronics were used in the creation of the robust hand cannon - far more than typical weaponry. This allows for the usage of more complex modes and more options than other pistols, and link to other systems through gloves. Typically, this presents features such as computer-assisted algorithms to direct aim and enhance accuracy, ammunition counters, and a variety of other potential modular options.
STRENGTHS
  • Reliable: Not too weighty, but with enough to be able to properly deal with recoil, a gyro-gimbal and decent fire rate, this pistol makes for a reliable sidearm - especially when one's not very familiar with them in the first place.
  • Durable: Robust, with a Phrik-A frame, and a handful of laminates, the BT-82 is extremely durable in just about any environment. This includes a resistance to EMP/Ion Weaponry far more than typical of most weapons.
  • Steadfast: Meant to overwhelm the toughest of armors and foes out there, this thing packs one hell of a punch. With options for Sonic, Energy, and Kinetic modes, some brought beyond that of normal pistols with the help of some Disruptor additions, this pistol is one-of-a-kind.
WEAKNESSES
  • Swiss Army Knife: While it does boasts a good amount options, that doesn't stop each respective setting have having their respective weaknesses. Proper ear protection tends to nullify the effects of Sonic Stunners, instead making it more of a serious discomfort than a body-dropping projectile. Stun Bolts are prone to their standard weaknesses.
  • Non-Lethal: After an incident, any lethal settings that were originally in the pistol were removed as per Ela's request. This pistol, while it can harm to an extent, can practically never kill.
DESCRIPTION
The BT-82 'Steward' Hybrid Pistol was designed by Samuel for Ela, in an attempt to make their job dealing with various outlaws, insane Force-Sensitives, and rogue droids, easier. It needed to be flexible enough to comfortably subdue a majority of the combatants that appear in the Tender's line of duty, and thus was created with the Hybrid design in mind. More specifically, there was a need to contend with armor equivalent to Beskar'gam in protective value, while still being versatile enough to fight off Force Sensitives and non-organic droids.

Blood-Thirsty Rogue Droids, Dar'manda, exiled and insane Force-Sensitives were all common sights in the backwater planet, especially as of late. The pistol originally was a pistol more like the XE-72 when these threats began to make themselves more apparent. Sonic Weaponry was Samuel's first solution, as they typically bypassed most armors without any real lasting damage for the most part. However, non-organics posed a problem, and thus he re-added stun features to the pistol. The disruptor additions were the most recent ones, in preparation for more rigorous exploration of the galaxy.

As mentioned before, the pistol used to be more like the XE-72, but all of its lethal options were removed after an event that led to Ela requesting them to be removed. Without protest, it was done.

Interesting non-lethal weapon with the extreme damage. The image source's link is not good, please use this one.
Done! Tried to find a good source but couldn't for the life of me find one - thank you!
The 'Extreme' Portion stems from a few previous events in the character's history - can never be too certain with a standard stunner these days! Too many armored baddies that don't like to go down in one shot, is Sam's POV.
