COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Availability: Unique
  • Deployment: Limited
  • Strengths & Weaknesses:

+ Formidable Form: The Draelvasier overall as a species can be considered tough. The Draelvasier like their host Tathra have a hefty constitution with strong bones and durable skin.
+ Stature: almost all members of the Draelvasier are tall beings. Their average height being much higher than that of humans, gaining them advantages of reach and gaining agility with greater ease.
+ Brute Strength: The Baedurin are the toughest and meanest of the races, by average being much stronger than an average wookie, sixteen times stronger than an average human. They are tall and hard to kill.
+ The Scarring: As part of a warrior's rite of passage in the Baedurin, they must undergo a scarring of their whole body. Hardening their skin to become tougher to break. They don’t bruise easily, and feel little blunt trauma.
+ Industrious Mind: The more intelligent among the Baedurin think mechanically, able to construct and build weapons, vehicles and make the best of their situations.
+ Vanguard: The Chieftains Fist are the most well acclaimed and powerful warriors amongst their Horde, serving on the front lines as an extension of the Chieftains will. They have never lost a battle, nor suffered a casualty. They are powerful and merciless warriors, competent alone or together.

- Slow Coach: Due to their lumbering muscle mass, the Baedurin are notably slower than the other two races. They have low stamina and can’t run very far. This also mitigates their flexibility.
- Cold Feet: The Baedurin have an incredibly low tolerance for the cold, their bodies run on fire. If their bodies are exposed to the cold weather, they will eventually short circuit and die.
- Bigger Target: Stealth isn’t quite so easily achieved by the Draelvasier, their bodies are heavy and weighted, powerful. But this also means that they can be heard or seen coming from miles away.
- Temper: As with their predecessors, the Draelvasier feel their blood boil at the smallest slight. They are impulsive and quick to anger. Which can often cost them a fight, or make diplomacy difficult.
- Infrared Vision: Draelvasier have infrared vision, seeing through heat. This can be a problem with explosives in combat, as high exposures of heat will blind them temporarily.
- Vanguard: The Vanguard are always on the frontlines, however are specifically - as far as their capabilities go they are inspired from the combative capabilities of their Chieftain and therefore beyond smallarms fire have limited ranged equipment.

  • Description:
The Bryn'adûl Crusaders have one advantage over the rest of the Galaxy. And that, is their numbers - not that they exist in greater numbers than other species or that they reign over many planets. But rather the opposite, their chosen alliances, purchased goods - choices for endeavours of research and funding's have all been carefully chosen. Carefully put in place to work together to turn the tide in their favour.

The Vanguard of the Bryn'adûl are an antithesis of this, highly specialised equipment and high calibre units combined with elite training and the genetic prowess of the Draelvasier to create sufficiently unparalleled close quarters combatants.

Well. Golly. These Bryn'adûl Crusaders are scary enough to have me shaking in my stylish yet affordable boots.

I applaud you for making them Unique/Limited. They benefit greatly from these classifications to enhance how much of an 'effect' they could have on a story. Not just everyday ground troops. It makes them even scarier IMO which is awesome. (You also touched on that a little in the description. Great minds!) Solid strengths and weaknesses. I think "Cold Feet" was my favorite.

Nice work! Approved.

Need the mod summaries but I also noticed this is still on the old template, and I'll need you to make sure it's updated to the current one, especially in regards to unit size/availability/experience.

I'm not spending perhaps hours entirely revamping them. That wasn't something I was aware I needed to do.

This goes for all of the submissions, I'll add the unit size/exp/availability. But I think its a bit bizarre to need all of it changed when its essentially the same stuff.

All submissions going through codex need to adhere to the current templates. All you need to do is add in any fields that exist on the new ones that didn't exist on the old ones (those three in particular however, since those rules specifically changed). You don't need to revamp the whole thing, but any missing fields are needed, yes. I don't care about the order, the formatting, etc, but all of the info needs to be there. This goes for new submissions as well as updates.
