To boldly alchemize what no one alchemized before
A child-sized serving on Life Day... she'd better have enough Force-energy left to use Detoxify Poison if push comes to shove with that drink. And mental fortitude. She realizes by now that a person's mental fortitude is pretty finite. Even someone like Griet, whom she knew had some intellectual merits in her own right, could end up being overstretched by one bad move. She began drinking that tiny portion of nearly-pure alcohol, the base drink from which flavors will be added, thinking to herself that there is only so much she could expect from such a tiny portion of the base drink. And then came the moment of truth, the moment that Griet, [member="Kami Meran"], as well as Tag, awaited for so long. As she began to drink the tihaar, in fact, drinking something of that strength for the first time in years, she began to feel a little different from usual, euphoric even. It would seem that drinking such alcohol would give her a wonderful feeling, even though it came at a cost: it seemed to be providing high recoil at the end of each gulp.
"Jane, why is it that you alchemize alcoholic beverages to make the drinkers allergic to alcohol? You don't seem to be suffering from the side effects that much" Griet asked Janick.
"The looks are deceiving. I only drank a child-sized serving. However, enough about those alchemical drinks" She then turned to Kami. "If that's your base drink, if that's what comes out of the initial filtering, then you can easily sell about half a million liters a day, that is, bring all six wells to full capacity"
"And this convo goes back to drilling, Jane... economies of scale are the reason why she got that many drill bits, and Meran Mechanics would probably be selling those in bulk by now"
"Speaing of which, I would probably like to buy a batch of drill bits so that we can alchemize them later"
