  • Personality: The 'Tra'gaal'ika' behaves much like a loyal hunting animal and will follow orders it can execute successfully to the best of its abilities. Anything it isn't programmed to do the droid will, depending on how it had been treated by the operator, either attempt the task to the best of its abilities or outright refuse. In combat situations the droid is programmed to defend itself and the operator with the full extent of its combat capabilities.

The droid can share all data via the 'Manda' battlenet or any other battlenet patched to function with the 'Manda' style data-sharing and processing.

Detection, Targeting and Tracking

Data Fusion: The system compares and correlates the data coming in from the myriad systems, showing the operator the combined picture from the various systems to reduce errors and outliers as much as is possible. This also allows accurate tracking, target identification and for clear vision through thick cloud cover, storms and heavy rain, fog, as well as other conditions that might otherwise impair targeting, tracking and vision to a severe degree.

• Boarding: The droid can be tasked to board a target vessel and attempt to eliminate or neutralize all crew who put up resistance and/or to carry out acts of sabotage. The Droid can also be programmed to ambush specific craft or craft that match certain parameters.
• Boarding Support: The droid can be set to aid in boarding operations, only providing support rather that carrying out the operation on their own.
• Defend: The droid can be assigned to guard a configurable area, straying only as far as it can return quickly enough to intercept fresh contacts.
• Escort: The droid can be programmed to escort the host vessel, only breaking formation to engage threats. Alternatively it can be set to be purely defensive, intercepting incoming fire and ordnance with its own chassis or weapons.

WEAKNESSES

• Tightly Packed: The droid's systems are so tightly packed, a single penetrating shot is usually enough to completely disable the droid.
• Out of Ammunition: When the droid is out of ammunition for its main guns, it is effectively no longer a threat to starfighter targets.
• Compatible Minelayer: The platform requires a compatible minelayer to be able to resupply the droid.

DESCRIPTION

The 'Tra'gaal'ika' was developed to increase the versatility and security of minelaying craft. Minelayers can deploy these droids out of standard minelayers but require specialized ones to operate a complement of their droids to the full extent of their capabilities. Their small size makes them useful for deployment on low security installations as well, or via container systems as anti-piracy measures on low priority routes.

This compact construction comes with a significant downside, however. Due to the nature of their compact design a single penetrating shot is usually enough to disable the droid. Additionally, once the droid is out of ammunition for its main guns it is no longer a threat to most starfighter targets. Nonetheless the company has seen fit to utilize these droids with many of their platforms and has seen excellent simulated and real performance from many of them.
