DESCRIPTION
A lightweight blast vest designed to protect the vital organs in the torso without encumbering the wearer or limiting their range of movement. Features an encrypted data bank for electronic storage of important data, jump coordinates, mission sensitive intelligence, or just anything the user wants like music. Also included is a removable shield generator hanging as a tasset from the waist down over the hips, providing full body protection from energy attacks like blaster shots. While the shield helps with environmental effects, a warming system keeps the wearer’s core temperature up in freezing conditions, and offsets the misery of sitting on a rooftop in the rain all night. To assist with infiltration or prevent an attack from stalling out, Kivah included a field disruptor that allows the wearer to slip through most basic shields. However, due to its nature, it also disrupts the armor’s own shield.

The armor’s excellent defensive features come from its triple layered design, self-repairing Fyrirdögun plating atop a backing of impact absorbing molytex, which gives the armor its shape and protects from thermal attacks. An interior lining of synthweave softens the armor for the wearer while preventing it from conducting electricity into the torso. Its durable nature meaning it can be worn for years without fraying. A micro fusion core provides the armor its needed energy, though it can act as an emergency power source for other equipment in a pinch.
