• Built to Last: A commonality among Gozanti models is durability and ease of repair, resulting in a formidable ship for smugglers, pirates, and bounty hunters.
• No Hangar, No Problem: Undercarriage docking clamps allow the Gozanti to transport up to four deployable starships on the bottom of its hull.

• Drop and Go: The Gozanti is unable to land properly while transporting vehicles and must detach them before engaging landing gear.
• Go for the Limbs: Starships and other vehicles being transported via docking clamp are not protected by the Gozanti's shields, making them easy targets.

In the capable hands of criminal organizations such as the Black Sun syndicate, the Gozanti-class cruiser sees more exciting uses than what the Corellian Engineering Corporation markets it for. Though originally designed as a freight vessel and technically classed as a corvette, the Gozanti cruiser has earned a reputation for being a rugged ship throughout the galaxy. Black Sun frequently deploys Gozantis as patrol craft in syndicate-controlled systems or as armored freighters for high-risk smuggling operations. At times, they serve as escorts in pirate fleets or support vessels in larger convoys.

The Gozanti's frame is wrapped in composite plating composed of CP90 durasteel and duralloy, giving it a dense shell of armor. Inside, durinium lining discourages unwanted scans of the ship's cargo bay and hidden compartments. Standard armaments include retractable heavy laser cannons, quad laser turrets, and a proton torpedo launcher, while dorsal and pectoral rectennas assist with targeting and threat detection. Four docking clamps on the underside allow the Gozanti to carry starfighters, walkers, or heavy cargo containers. Within the shielded cargo bay is a carbon-freezing chamber complete with a dedicated receptacle for storing carbonite blocks, perfect for discreet prisoner transport.
