The armor of the Black Sun Guard was forged on Epsi Nadir in the shadowy foundries of the Most Honourable Guild of Armourers, a clandestine consortium of master smiths loyal to Black Sun's doctrine of intimidation and discipline. As Black Sun expands unopposed from Hutt Space to the Slice, the need for reliable equipment has become undeniable. The Ruling Council looked to the height of Black Sun's dominance centuries ago for inspiration and found it in the Falleen design of the Black Sun Guard's traditional armor. It's plum-hues and angular design evokes fear in those who oppose the syndicate. After being modified to ensure it can be worn effectively by non-Falleen, Black Sun Enforcer armor has become a mainstay in among the organization's foot soldiers.

An armorweave underlay forms a matte-black combat suit that protects the wearer like a second skin. The tunic is woven with armorply, a supple armored cloth that offers both energy and physical protection. Over it, the Guild fuses desh with flexisteel panels, making carefully shaped and riveted plating that can withstand blaster fire. The helmet and pauldrons are cast from durasteel, while joints and limb guards are reinforced with spacers leather and synth-hide for flexibility. Durasteel-toed boots protect the wearer from rubble and other environmental hazards.

The helmet boasts an enhanced optics suite equipped with passive light amplification, thermal signature readers, ultrasound pickups, millimeter wave emitters, video capture, and optical enhancements. Integrated comlinks facilitate real-time communication between units. These features are integrated with a HUD system to provide Black Sun foot soldiers with a robust combat suite on par with mercenary guilds and paramilitary organizations.
