Jor Kvall constructed this beskar'gam from pieces of beskar already in his possession, as well as beskar inherited from his Clan, when he became Alor of House Kvall. The bone-decorated helmet belonged to his father, Hygela Kvall, and has been in his family for generations. The rest of the armor was constructed by Jor himself after he killed a mythosaur as part of his initiation ritual as leader. An ancient House Kvall custom involves high-ranking male warriors, especially the Alor, decorating their armor with mythosaur bones, teeth and claws. These ornaments can be inherited, though it is customary for most of the bone on a man's armor to have been obtained by slaying the beast himself. This is considered to be something of a rite of passage in Kvall society and a symbol of masculinity. The bone armor decoration is purely ritualistic and serves no practical purpose other than aesthetics. Functionally, the armor performs the same as most other beskar'gam, with Jor's silica/armorweave body suit being worn underneath the beskar plates to provide an extra layer of protection.
