Once a vital cog in the industrial machine of the Old Republic and later the Galactic Empire, Balmorran Arms has since evolved into a fiercely independent defense contractor though has links with both the The Trade Federation |:| 900 ABY |:| and the The InterGalactic Banking Clan in order to finance their projects across the galaxy.

Renowned for the design and production of cutting-edge droids, tanks, walkers, and droid starship components, the company's signature efficiency and durability remain hallmarks of its products. Its manufacturing centers are still rooted in the industrial world of Balmorra, a planet whose landscape has been permanently shaped by the scars of war and industry.

While Balmorran Arms accepts contracts from major galactic powers, it maintains a nominal neutrality in modern galactic politics operating as a pragmatic, profit-driven entity that sells to those who can pay, regardless of flag or ideology. Private manufacturing requests are accepted, but all clients undergo stringent vetting processes to prevent sabotage or reverse-engineering. Whether supplying planetary defense forces or kitting out a private security fleet, Balmorran Arms remains a premier choice for reliable war machines.

The majority shareholder of Balmorran Arms Edmund Vue III Edmund Vue III came into power through a combination of inheritance, industrial foresight, and political maneuvering. A descendant of one of the original Balmorran industrial dynasties, they returned to the war-ravaged world after the company's fragmentation in the aftermath of various galactic wars.

By consolidating the scattered remnants of Balmorran manufacturing guilds and leveraging dormant patent rights, they reconstructed the corporation from the inside out. Strategic alliances with planetary defense forces and mercenary groups allowed for rapid market re-entry, while a shrewd rebranding campaign reclaimed Balmorran Arms' legacy as a symbol of pragmatic reliability.

The revival was further solidified through careful neutrality during regional conflicts, allowing Balmorran Arms to act as an arms broker to multiple factions without direct entanglement. Under their leadership, the company has returned to profitability and now operates as both a military contractor and a symbol of Balmorra's enduring industrial legacy.

Drawing on lessons from prior droid models, the Specter is designed for long-range eliminations, stealth operations, and anti-personnel strikes behind enemy lines.

Manufactured with lightweight but resilient materials and built around a tactical targeting AI, the BAF-77 excels in autonomous or coordinated deployments. Its integrated sniper system is engineered for extreme-range accuracy, aided by gyroscopic stabilizers and multi-environment optics. A short-term stealth field generator allows it to remain hidden while setting up or extracting from a kill zone, making it valuable in urban, jungle, or arid terrain.

Due to its limited production and high cost, the BAF-77 is not deployed en masse. The Duelist-class Combat Automaton (BADC-A) represents a bold and specialized venture by the renowned weapons manufacturer. Faced with the persistent threat posed by Jedi, Sith, and other elite lightsaber-wielding adversaries to their high-value clients, Balmorran sought a technological countermeasure. The result is a droid engineered not for frontline warfare, but for the deadly art of the lightsaber duel.

Built on a highly refined bipedal chassis, the BADC-A prioritizes agility, precision, and computational speed over brute strength or heavy armor. Its armor droid frame and other subsystem's offer considerable protection against blaster fire, lightsabers and emp/ion weaponry.

These components allow the droid to perform the seemingly impossible: directly parrying, deflecting, and even momentarily catching lightsaber blades without catastrophic failure. This capability, combined with its blindingly fast reflex actuators, forms the core of its defense.

Despite its prowess, the BADC-A has significant limitations. Its sophisticated sensor suite, vital for its function, remains a vulnerability to intense jamming or EMP. Its power core, while robust, struggles under the immense demands of peak combat performance, necessitating tactical pauses. Designed by Balmorran Arms - 902 ABY at the behest of Imperial High Command, the Vox Aeternum is an experimental psychological warfare platform built entirely on advanced neural and signal engineering principles.

Unlike Sith relics or alchemical tools, the Aeternum is purely technological in nature, drawing its inspiration from systems such as brain-wave projectors and Castellan restraints. Its purpose is straightforward but chilling: to dominate a population's emotional and cognitive state through controlled exposure to Imperial ideology.

Deployed in key positions on occupied worlds such as civic centers, spaceports, or media towers each Vox Aeternum is equipped to override all planetary holonets and public address systems.

The voice of the Empire, a carefully synthesized AI based on historical recordings of Emperor and tailored Imperial rhetoric, becomes the sole source of truth. Its carefully modulated frequencies are designed to produce calming effects while making the listener more amenable to authority and less prone to critical thought.

While the machine's influence is not absolute, its insidious nature means resistance slowly erodes. Over time, even once-defiant citizens may refer to the Voice with reverence.

In select cases, Imperial psychologists have observed the spontaneous formation of civilian groups centered around the Voice viewing it not just as a tool of governance, but a divine or moral compass.
