Bakuran Arms Show! (Open)

Timir heard the commands of Governor Vynea replying tersely: "As soon as possible governor." Timir quickly traveled to the nearest depot, there organizing and detailing some guards and law enforcement concerning the compound, he then dolled several rapid fire comlink messages and signals to various patrols and snub-fighter as well as bomber wings deployed from the Planetary Reserve Fleet to be on heightend awareness and to double there efforts within the immediate sector of the current arms gala. The Corps sized force requested by Governor Sargon was rallied from amongst Bakura's garrison troops and Reserve Corps who were ordered to deploy gradually and unconcentrated, the forces being divided amongst several neighborhoods and quadrants surrounding the compound in Brigade sized forces doubled back and supported by 4 Tartoros walkers, set to patrol and shoot to kill on sight any hostile agents.

Timir, following these arrangements, detailed the elite Bakuran Military Police into the sector of the compound where he himself had experienced the attack, each policeman ordered to specifically blend with the crowds refraining from showing organized force.

All exits in this sector were sealed and the heavy blast doors ordered deployed with every individual wishing to enter being denied and those leaving a mandatory search of their person as well as an extensive interrogation.

Timir personally handled the blast doors and deployed the compounds defense barrier shields.

Timir then returned to the Governor to inform him of the developments in and around the complex and the measures thus taken. @[member="Sargon Vynea"]

"Governor the following directives have been relayed to the Bakuran Military Police and the Fringe military reservists sir." Timir stated blankly, then continuing: "5 snub-fighter wings and bomber squadrons have been ordered to double their patrolling efforts in this sector sir, as well the sheilds have been raised and security details and checkpoints have been set around the complex as well as where our assailant is currently believed to be, Governor. All under your orders."

Not one for politics though he felt the need at this hour, Timir also quipped: "If this rabble-rouser turns out to be another governments agent then a serious diplomatic crisis could occur sir, but I don't believe it to be."

The Skakoan's voice then trailed off in a wave of deep guttural static, retaking his place near the governors side. @[member="Sargon Vynea"], @[member="Lucien Cordel"]l, @[member="Olidiv Kenu"]

Taking a shuttle from his yacht to the Arms Show Jasper was in good spirits as he sipped on a glass of wine. In all honesty the alarm had brought the hope of excitement, but in truth who would bother to attack an Arms Show? Everything on the ground was a model, no better then toys. Nothing was being sold directly from the site, but rather anything bought here would be shipped from warehouses located all over the galaxy for some of the bigger producers. In truth Jasper wanted his own piece of the show, but he'd have to wait out his parent's death before that could happen.

There was one man here who interested him though, @Cade Lee, CEO of Blas-Tech Industries. If there was ever a man who'd be interested in some of the future products Jasper had on the drawing board it would be him. Walking into the Blas-Tech sales modular Jasper put his best overly confident rich boy smile on, and drew his assistant a rather gorgeous twi'lek close. She was an absolutely genius with numbers, and a goo shot with a rifle. She was also his secret weapon allowing him to play the rich fool buying toys. From what he understood about the Blas-Tech's growth in the new age he might be just the partner for the next stage of evolution in weapons.

"Ah, Blas-Tech fun little company full of things that go boom!" Looking over at the Mirari bodyguard droid he reached up an scratched himself behind the ear a little smirk forming. "Couldn't make them more obvious, eh? No flags, or flashing lights available? Ah well, I'll take a pair. Out of curiosity who do you pair up with for your biotech, and robotics projects?" His aide giggled ridiculously as though any of his ramblings had been funny. Jasper offer his hand to the CEO of Blas-Tech like they were old friends his body language spoke of a drunk fool, but his eyes were locked onto Lee's in extreme clarity.

The human replica droid known as Jeff Solaris had hired a frigate to drop him off on this planet. After a long walk that did not do wonders either for his emotions, or his power levels he had arrived at the Arms Show. Perhaps there might be something here he could add to his arsenal, as he did not have a weapon. The lack of a weapon was one of the reasons he had come here. As a Droid he knew he could not use any of the Force Attacks the Jedi or Sith could. Looking at the person on the stage holding a light saber and about to assemble iit with something called the Force, Jeff was curious.

"The blade he wields...the light saber. I must get one for myself so I can study it and eventually build my own version. Hopefully it might come in handy for me if I could get it."

Jeff looked at the area. Nervous, since he did not have any sort of weapon and everyone here likely did Jeff made a mental note to at some point acquire a weapon. There were too many people around here. Crowds sort of made him nervous, but he'd be prepared eventually and ready to deal with matters as best he could. As a human Replica droid, Jeff could shut down his emotions but he chose not to do so because Emotions allowed him to process life better. Jeff had been here since this morning.

@[member="Saren Lonecaller"] wouldn't be using a Subach ship to escape, no. The cockpits were all locked, and no one would be breaking their way inside. Then of course there was the fact that plenty of things had been disconnected once the crafts were landed, and as such, they wouldn't fly.

Meanwhile, things continued transaction-wise.

Plans, plans were a wondrous thing. And his seemed to be set in motion. Having exited the base moments before the lockdown, Saren ad to dodge guards who were no doubt reporting their knocked out comrades. But no one paid any mind to where the buyers had landed, once their, he'd find himself a nice freighter which belonged to some no-name NPC, and upon reaching its cockpit, he'd hack through the onboard pilot droid and get himself out of there. The ship was nice an spacy, he might even keep it. It was a Keeper, his Keeper.

"Memnorei, get over here stat," Alachei mumbled into a communicator after just putting it over her left earshell. "Bring a small plasma cutter." Sh added.

Alachei was intrigued by the setting of the sirens off, though externally it didn't even seem to catch her attention, as if it never really happened. If it didn't affect her, she had no reason for alarm.
"Would it be alright if I left these with you for the installation?" She reassembled the saber, but left the last two plates unpinned and seperate. They* floated gently towards @[member="Circe Savan"]. Alachei's look turned to a serious, deathly state. "Do not lose them, please, they are too valuable. I trust you fully." She tried to smile, only doing so lightly as smiling wan't really herthing.
Alachei turned around to go take a look at those bodyguard droids and perhaps do a little investigation of her own on the situation. That's when she saw him, just standing there looking on at her since the moment she began closing her saber up. She casually walked over to him. She could spot a person in a crowd from miles away, all depending on what stood out about them and what to look for. Something was different about him. He felt like a... droid. "So," she asked, "I could not help but notice you were staring at my blade. You have an interest in such weapons, no doubt?" She grabbed her saber with her hand and held it out for @[member="Jeff Solaris"]. If he did anything... reckless and dangerous, she'd just turn it off and reposess it with the Force before an damage is caused.

The human replica droid whose neural net had been made from that of a deceased child's was very interested in the Light Saber that Alachei held in her hand. There were many reasons of course for him to be interested. His primary reason was that the Light Saber was a weapon that was not common for people to wield. Usually only Jedi or Sith or Force Sensitive wielded said weapons. It was time he upper his a-game and if that meant learning how to handle a light-saber then indeed he would learn. The Light Saber was the best possible melee weapon for him even though he could not alter the blade to fit his tastes.
@Alachei:

"Yes. I am quite interested in that weapon. Do you mind if I give it a swing? Also do you by any chance have a spare ship I could borrow?"
Jeff's hand reached out and grasped the light saber. His fingers slid over the hilt as he imagined the possibilities. Today he was going to be wanting to obtain a light saber for himself as well as some body armor. Perhaps a ship as well. Jeff then took the light saber and swung it a few times. With some modifications he could have the perfect weapon for himself. A different color and style would be needed. Finally done he said.
"This saber almost seems like I could wield it easily. I'd love to learn how to use one."

"You have been most helpful Mr. Cordel. Thank you." Vilox lowered his head in a courtesy of respect before turning away from the Sith Master and heading towards the exit. He was done here. Velok was dead. He presumed that would save him having to do the deed himself. For what he had planned, then his identity would have to be a secret. Velok knew who he used to be and besides, after finding out where the elusive Black Sun vigo was, he didn't want the whipkid to send some form of advanced warning. He was also a particularly powerful, dangerous dark side whom posed a threat to him and his scheme. His galaxy was better without the Dark Lord.

Lifting the cowl over his head once more, concealing his features, he lowered his hand down to his belt and activated his communique. The transmission sent from the device was to Circe Savan's. It contained no readable text or audible message. It was simply an indication that he was here and upon closer inspection, the woman would be able to follow his communique with her own via the ACTIVE status on her contact list.

Lifting a hand, he opened the doors this time via the control mechanism and left the Arms Show behind, with it's chaos and his former victims left behind, where master and apprentice would meet once more.

In Umbris Potestas Est
"Yes, I can do that for you. Your weapon parts will be safe, no worries." She smiled at the woman, eager to please. "We'll get to work on it right away."

A nearby droid picked the saber piece up, placing it in a strongbox that was soon taken away. It would be taken to Geonosis, where work on the modifications would begin. @[member="Alachei Mnemenos"] would be notified when her upgrade was completed and ready to be picked up.

Lex-El

An Honest Man
@[member="Jasper Void"]

He needed to take his ring off, but at the same time he didn't. Granted, he was at an arm's show. This was the IT place for someone like him to be, and he was one of the marquee sells for this years show. Movers and shakers were all around, and Cade was in heaven. Many people had come by, and many still were soon to come. The camera crews were floating around him, and he awaited a reporter at any moment. As such, he had decided to leave his desk, and mingle around and see if he could possibly get a few deals going. This was an arms show, and he didn't need to study up on any of his weapons personally. Unlike a few owners of companies, he actually knew everything about everyone of his products out there.

He had built them, or had a major hand in the process.

As usual, Mar flanked him. Slouching as per usual, he barely noticed the man who came up near his desk that started talking about the Mirari droids. Mr. Lee was taken aback by the man's frankness. "Well, when one m-makes a droid that's s-seven feet tall and weighs 400 pounds, subtlety has b-been thrown out the window." Mar came to join his owner, it's red visual sensors locking on to the man before them. "I'll gladly let you purchase two, but do know these work best as solo units. I do hope you are giving one of these to a friend, as they lock on to their owner and synchronize with them. To pair them would be to impede them, and I don't know if you'd want to do that with a sharp-shooting droid that will protect you with it's own body."

When it came to business talks, well Cade simply stuck his right hand out. "I tend to not discuss business with people I don't know. So, I'm Cade Lee, CEO of Blas-Tech Industries. What's your name good sir?"

With a small laugh Jasper shook one of the richest men in the galaxies hands, and took out his business card with his a line that actually lead directly to him. "Of course, how silly of him. My name is Jasper Void, and I represent Chiewab Amalgamated Pharmaceuticals Company. Our board is considering utilizing the Corellian Chemical Company to start research in weaponized research again. By the Board I mean me, and by weaponized I mean all kinds of very nasty things. We are not however in the market of delivery systems via bombs and such, or at least their production. That is why I'm talking to the premier weapons maker in the galaxy."

With an obnoxious lean against his lean female companion he appeared almost drunk, but had in actuality managed to keep both his and @Cade Lee's lips from being recorded by camera. "As for the pair I have the perfect use for the second one, don't worry. It won't be wasted."

Olidiv Kenu

Behold, a Swordsman of Legend
Olidiv nodded to Sargon and Timir with a smirk. Sargon really knew how to create a show, that was for sure. He smirked. Security wasn't his problem tonight. Making sure Sargon looked good on all filters was. "Ease up on the radiation aliasing," he said calmly as he typed out a few things. "Don't want Governor Vynea to look too shiny and sweaty in the UV spectrum, so make it softer," he said calmly.

He looked over to Timir and smiled slightly. "Mr. Orso, is it? Tell me, do you need an extra set of camera drones right now? I can lend you a pair of infrareds to do a security sweep, if you're willing to give them a security clearance code," he said with his usual friendly gregariousness. After all, even if he wasn't workign security, it never hurt to make a good impression.

"Yes. I am quite interested in that weapon. Do you mind if I give it a swing? Also do you by any chance have a spare ship I could borrow?"
"This saber almost seems like I could wield it easily. I'd love to learn how to use one."

Alachei nodded as the man-droid reached out for the saber. "I do not have one," she said almost disdainfully. Then her tone suddenly changed to enthusiasm. "I have many. So tell me, what brings a person such as yourself to take an interest in such arts?" Alachei waved a hand over at him as a signal to follow her. She was intent on inspecting those huge droids by the Blas-Tech stands. For one, they actually matched her height. When she reached the corporation's display, she picked up a datapad to view the specs they had up for them.

@[member="Jeff Solaris"]

"Ah! Of course Kenu, that would render quite the effect, I will give the clearance. I assume the drones are already programmed to there directive? None-the-less it shall be done, carry on." Timir then walked over to a local terminal and gave the by-way for permission granted, the drones then sprung to life, whirring about the establishment.

Kenu was a being of great reknown, quite the warrior and sly businessmen with no current equal amongst non-force users from what he could tell. Timir was startled by the sudden quip, as normally any and all beings treated him as if he was one of those drones he had just activated, given his personality and appearance, as a Skakoan. It was quite the welcome surprise coming from another organic, Timir normally only talked a great deal to droids or himself. @[member="Olidiv Kenu"]

Teslar had heard of the arms show over the holonet and after wandering around the galaxy he had slowly began to amass a small wealth. He landed the White Eye and donned his black robe making sure his weapons were strapped on tightly beneath his robes, then he pulled his hood over his head and entered the arms show. Observing the technological wonders from afar until the BTI-ACA Marksman armor caught his eye walking over he began examining the stats on the datapad provided.
@Cade Lee

The Bakuran Arms show had been announced months in advance, and with it a list of vendors. This list included Bactoid, and it's owner Allie Wren. The security at the event was top notch, but there was no personal security from each company. Only Cade Lee had been allowed to bring his own bodyguard droids with him, and that was due to some special understanding between him and the Zabrak running the show. What this all meant to the Cragmoloid was an instant paycheck, and a new toy.

There were no weapons allowed on site, but that hardly bothered the massive beast as he towered over the heads of everything around him, including the Mirari bodyguard droids. The crowd parted before him as he reached the Bactoid stand, and he there in the middle of her stand, @Allie Wren. Standing before her he blocked the entire world out of view as he lifted his powerful trunk, and smelled the little woman. "Grundark is here to escort you to your bounty, follow me."

Moving a massive arm around her the mercenary walked a few dozen paces to another stand, and simply pushed her forward towards the contractor. "Gundark has completed contract, and no bruises. Now, Grundark's credits.'"

@[member="Circe Savan"] Allie Wren

Alli was besides her self and quickly held the explosive she had been showing Delia in her pocket She had all of her droids on high alert, and several were ready to activate. In fact 2 droidika's had rolled towards them but they held off at her command. She didn't know what to say, she had just been picked up and brought to the one woman she least wanted to see. " Damn it all, you?" She said glaring at Circe. " You even pretended to commit suicide. Did our love really not mean anything?" That had been the final straw that had cause Alli to snap. " Did Jak really have that much more to offer. I mean he got arrested by Omega trying to retrieve your body, because he broke into the office which if he had waited he would of been let in. Sounds like a real winner. " She was flustered, and angry at Circe the heart break reappearing at the sight of her.

@[member="Grundark"] @[member="Circe Savan"]

In Umbris Potestas Est
"Actually, I did fail to commit suicide, but later died of my wounds. The body Imm in now was specially grown for me by an old friend. As for what he did: perhaps you don't remember my mental rape at the hands of the Omega Pyre while in stasis. Or that I was scalped by the Omegans, according to Jak. Or that Sarge was about to blow my fething brains out after they already had been examined by a droid, drill and all. I felt pain. Anguish. And worst of all, I felt death."

She stepped over to her bounty, typing something into her datapad. "@[member="Grundark"], the credits have been transferred to your account. As a bonus, I will be constructing you a weapon I know you'll enjoy: an axe. Please send me an image of the type of blade you wish to have on it and we will begin work constructing it." And now, her interest was returned to @[member="Alli Wren"].

"Jak was kind. Loving even. But he couldn't stand my darkness. The depression I felt at the sterility of this new body. Yes, I forgot to mention, didn't I? You murdered eight of my unborn children, still in my womb. I have no idea what happened to eight others, but only eight survived, currently in special custody. I'll never be able to get them back, to watch them grow up. And I'll never be able to replace them with my own children. But you will help me fix that."

Stepping around Alli, she tapped the woman on the back of her neck, gently pressing her finger there against where the technological implant was located. "Alli, I require your participation in the Grand Experiment. You will help right what you have wronged."

Alli wasn't at a loss." You killed your self, I don't know what they did to your body. I left, not able to watch. I Had wanted them to cremate you. I arranged the funeral, and mourned for you. I have paid enough, It is not my fault you killed your own babies. I am heart broken to be sure to hear the loss of so many innocent lives, but you are the one who stabbed yourself. I submitted you to the proper authorities for your war crimes. We both are not innocent. I am sorry for what I did once I thought you were dead. Turning your body over to the ones that did what you described. I don't know, I left before I could see. I wasn't able to watch. It is no excuse but what done is done. I felt betrayed and tried to have what revenge I could. Even this bounty was me trying to get back at you, but as I stand before you, can't do it. I still feel something for you and hate myself because you betrayed me, and it consumes me. " Alli turned around, her implant wasn't near her back of the neck. Alli was torn and conflicted, knowing that before her was her Ex wife. The wife who hadn't even left her anything. She alerted the authorities via her chip that Circe Saven was attempting to kidnap her. " I can't forgive you for what you have put me through, I just can't. It hurts to much. I can however drop your bounty if you drop mine. Help Help I am being kidnapped! by Circe Saven" She said as she tried to run away.
