STRENGTHS

• Robust: The current B2 has strong metal formulations to enhance its survivability
• I'm Baaack: With the QDBM unit a destroyed droid has a high chance of its brain being recovered from the field. If returned the brain can be placed into a new droid to continue learning and improving.
• Hardened: having its important parts buried in its armored chest. Leading to longer life on the battlefield
• Innately Armed: With two built in blasters and ten built in projectile tubes, the droid is quite armed.

WEAKNESSES

• Just a Droid: Despite the advances made in the OS, learning, and durability... it's still just a droid. Organics can still out think it on the regular. Especially fresh off the production lines droids.
• Buzzzz: The trade offs to be stronger against the majority of enemies means the B2 is now vulnerable to sonic attacks. Given its robust Flax Stahl SLCA is quite vulnerable to sonic based weapons.
• Heavy: This incarnation of the B2 is far heavier than its ancient kin. Leaving some places it just can get to well e.g. wetland, sand, weak floors, etc.

DESCRIPTION

Werr Drive Yards had gotten itself contracts for many things related to the CIS in the led up to the clone wars. Not limited to just ships but droids too, like the robust front line B2. They wanted to be a full suppliers delivering ships with droid crews onboard, instead of relying on other manufactures to fill their craft. Werr Drive Yards modified their ships slightly back in those days, but it wasn't until the collapse of the CIS and the rise of the Empire did they start to tweak the design of everything. Over the next almost millennium the B2 blueprint they had began to evolve into a multipurpose Heavy combat droid.

Much closer to the current time did their B2's become a much heavier force to be reckoned with. A design that yes sure cost more than the ancient one, but one that is far more capable in every way. The newest in the line of B2-SH, the B2-SH4V6 ups the arms, armor, battery, and comms over its predecessor. The B2 and its few variants up their size and combat abilities vs their predecessors. The biggest jump is to the new droid brain along with its Light based OS giving the B2-SH4V6 units an ability to become veterans through learning much like their organic opponents. Although the downside is their brain units being captured, but being light based over writing the OS or any other code would take quite a while.
Gone are the days of a central control signal & limited processing. But for all their gains they are still shook apart by sonic based attacks, disabled by ion weapons, and cut apart by light sabers. Just now they are taller, more armored, and have more weapons.
