Formulation:
Superior Light Composite Alloy (SLCA)
- Alusteel 30%
- Manganese 10%
- Nickle 20%
- Titanium 11%
- Magnesium 19%
- Zinc 10%
SPECIAL FEATURES
- Strong formulation: strong enough to be versatile. Used from starship frames, hulls, and used for things like combat droids.
- Rigid Light Metal: The metal is both light and strong.
- Versatile: The metal is strong and light enough to be used in combat droids, starship frames, and starship hulls.
- Sonic Vibrations: The metal formulation is weak to sonic forces, especially if it hits resonance for that particular length of metal.
With the success of Flax Stahl the engineers at Werr Drive Yards had to come up with a material that would be lighter and more rigid for plating, droid production, and other uses. The team began their new task with fever, going through dozens of formulations in short order. Eventually going through hundreds of formulations and tests on them to see where they stack up against the mandate they were given for the new material.
On their three hundred and twenty third formulation the tests finally showed what they had hopped for. A composition that worked as they were ordered to create. A metal alloy that could be used for almost anything they needed. That day the Flax Stahl Superior Light Composite Alloy came to fruition. The metal was able to be used as a droid chassis, ship plating, and light weight frames. It was overnight that Werr Drive Yards began using it in many designs to bolster their abilities.
