OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Ayitatsa Arana - High Sith for Avarice Angel
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Origins: Amaltanna
  • Average Lifespan: 170 Galactic Standard Years
  • Estimated Population: Rare
  • Description: Armored in gold and ebony, with dark wings that glint with traces of gold and silver and ebon hair twisted with platinum, the Ayitatsa Arana have a dark shine that hints at the avarice that rules their hearts. As beautiful as their sisters, the angels are every bit as powerful, but their true danger lingers in what they offer and what they seek from those they interact with.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: Type I
  • Average Height of Adults: 2.6 meters
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A
  • Skin color: Pale
  • Hair color: Black with sprinklings of gold, silver, platinum, or gem-colored strands woven through out.
  • Distinctions: The most distinctive physical traits of the Ayitatsa are the large wings that extend from their back, like all of the Arana Sithspawn. Their wings are threaded with gold and silver that give them a unique glittering appearance.
  • Races:
  • Force Sensitivity: All (Due to their original creation process requiring the subject to be Force Sensitive)
Strengths:
  • Like the other Arana Sithspawn, the Ayitatsa Arana are powerful dark side Force users, but due to their evolution/mutation, they have focused more on Sith and Dathomiri magic techniques over the more combative abilities of their sisters. In addition, their mutation from the dark side has granted them a twisted version of the Force Bond with those they are owed something, allowing them to leech power across the bond in payment.
  • While they typically will eschew combat as their first option when dealing with enemies, they are still formidable warriors if they must indeed fight due to their Echani and Kraujas Arana origins. Like Ardasa Arana, they carry alchemized scythes, but unlike their sisters that were twisted by the Netherworld, their scythes are empowered with a curse borne of Sith magics that cause their victims, if they survive, to experience misfortune and bad luck in every endeavor they attempt.
  • Due to their wings, they are able to sustain flight for extended periods of time and are prone to hovering above the ground instead of walking across it.
  • Due to their mutation, the siren's call of their Kraujas Arana beginnings has been altered and now laces their voices whenever they speak with a more subtle gift. Whenever they speak, the weak-willed find themselves overtaken by the desire to please and agree to the demands of the creature.
Weaknesses:
  • If subjected to an ysalamiri void bubble or if they are in close proximity to void stone, they lose the ability to use their Force abilities and their voices lose their ability to influence the thoughts of the weak-willed.
  • Force Light can be an effective counter against them, and while it might not kill them, it can strip them of their Force abilities as well, along with the powers infused into their armor and scythe. However, even if in a void bubble or stripped of the Force, they still retain their physical prowess.
  • If their wings are damaged, they cannot fly until the damage has been healed, a process that can take days or weeks unless they drain the life of enemies to quicken the process.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Omnivore, Force Energies
  • Communication: Can speak and understand Basic and the Sith language, have the capacity to learn other languages as well.
  • Technology level: Galactic Standard, although they prefer to use more basic equipment such as their alchemy treated armor and scythes.
  • Religion/Beliefs: While they originally believed the same as their Kraujas Arana sisters, their evolution or mutation, however one wants to view it, has brought about a new belief system for the Ayitatsa Arana. They have moved away from worship of the Dark Lord of the Sith and have turned to worship of a portion of the dark side's nature to inspire the shadow of greed within the hearts of beings. As they see the Sith Lords and Ladies acquiring knowledge, power, and wealth through their actions, they emulate this and make offerings to their masters from the wealth and knowledge they have acquired within their own hoards.
  • General behavior:
    • Ayitatsa Arana share the same basic three-tiered matriarchal society of their sisters of the Handmaidens, Daughters, and Matriarchs. However, whereas the Kraujas Arana base their societal structure on martial accomplishments and Ardasa Arana upon their connection to the Netherworld, the Ayitatsa structure their society around the acquisition of knowledge and wealth and one's place is determined by the size of their hoards and the debts others owe them.
    • Unlike their sisters, Ayitatsa revel in the luxuries that their hoards can afford them.
    • Perhaps the most notable behavior of the Ayitatsa is their penchant for striking deals with beings that have sought them out. In exchange for wealth or a piece of knowledge they do not possess, for example, the Ayitatsa will grant the petitioner a boon or enhancement through their powers or perhaps heal a loved one or imbue an item with a powerful effect or curse. However, their favorite deals to make involve the trading of favors as they grow stronger, in both their powers and societal stature, the more beings that are indebted to them.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

As continued observation of the Kraujas Arana, both on Amaltanna and elsewhere in the galaxy, Darth Arcanix and her followers discovered that their innate connection to the dark side had started to form further mutations for lack of a better term. Some Kraujas Arana, when they emerged from the blood chrysalis from their birthing ritual, had a closer connection to different aspects of the dark side. In the case of the newest mutation observed, the darkness caused by avarice and the jealousy borne of want of material wealth had touched and altered some of the angelic Sithspawn and as they matured, their forms began to change and darken. Hair turned from white to ebon, but with flecks of gold, silver, or platinum that also stained their wings, so they glinted as they flew. Their armor became more ostentatious, and they turned to the scythes of the Ardasa Arana, but with different enchantments.

The new creatures, once it was determined their mutations could be replicated and were more than a random fluke, were named the Ayitatsa Arana, or Avarice Angels in High Sith. Many of these angelic creatures sought to gather wealth and knowledge into personal hoards, all the more to tempt other beings with promises to aid them through deals. Arcanix was delighted to watch them work and manipulate their way to greater power and was fascinated at the twisted bonds formed with those they dealt with as they feasted on the Force energies within that bond to strengthen themselves.
