OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Ardasa Arana - High Sith for Hell Angel
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Origins:
  • Average Lifespan: 170 Galactic Standard Years
  • Estimated Population: Rare
  • Description: Armored in black and gold, with dark wings that glow with sickly blue flames and long dark hair to match the sorrowful and severe demeanor of the angel, the Ardasa Arana are every bit as beautiful as their sisters, but in more somber and subdued manner. They are every bit as powerful and dangerous as their sisters as well, perhaps even more so because of their evolution.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: Type I
  • Average Height of Adults: 2.8 meters
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A
  • Skin color: Deathly pale
  • Hair color: Range from jet black to brunette
  • Distinctions: The most distinctive physical trait, and a major difference from their sisters, is the dark wings of the Ardasa Arana. Instead of the bloodstained white of the Kraujas Arana, the Ardasa Arana are black with a sickly blue glowing flame that wreathes the edges and between the feathers.
  • Races: Kraujas Arana (linked above)
  • Force Sensitivity: All (Due to their original creation process requiring the subject to be Force Sensitive)
Strengths:
  • Ardasa Arana are powerful dark side Force users, but in addition, their evolution/mutation has given them an innate connection to the Netherworld and Dathomiri spirit ichor. Some of the powers they can unleash are:
    • Force Rage
    • Force Corrupt
    • Force Speed
    • Consume Essence
    • Drain Life
    • Fiery Energy
    • Sith Magic
    • Dathomiri Magic
    • Teleport (Only in areas of high Force energy concentration or in the Netherworld)
  • Due to their Echani and Kraujas Arana origins, Ardasa Arana are extremely capable warriors, boasting the equivalent strength of four Wookiees. Eschewing the spears of their sisters, the Ardasa Arana wield Sith alchemized scythes that have been bathed in spirit ichor and the energies of the Netherworld, creating weapons that are extremely deadly and can consume the life essences of others.
  • Due to their wings, they are able to sustain flight for very long periods of time and are prone to hovering above the ground rather than walking along it.
  • While they have lost the siren call of their sisters, the Ardasa Arana are able to summon the spirits of their defeated opponents to serve them or to reanimate the corpses of the deceased around them by singing.
Weaknesses:
  • If subjected to a ysalamiri void bubble or if they are in close proximity to void stone, they lose the ability to use their Force abilities and their song will not summon the dead.
  • Force Light can be an effective counter against them, and while it might not kill them, it can strip them of their Force abilities as well, along with the powers infused into their armor and scythe. However, even if in a void bubble or stripped of the Force, they still retain their physical prowess.
  • If their wings are damaged, they can not fly until the damage has been healed, a process that can take days or weeks unless they drain the life of enemies to quicken the process.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Omnivore, Force Energies
  • Communication: Can speak and understand Basic and the Sith language, have the capacity to learn other languages as well.
  • Technology level: Galactic Standard, although they prefer to use more basic equipment such as their alchemy treated armor and scythes.
  • Religion/Beliefs: While they originally believed the same as other Kraujas Arana, their evolution has also brought a new belief system for the Ardasa Arana. Whereas before they worshipped the Dark Lord of the Sith as a demi-god, an embodiment of the dark side, Ardasa Arana worship the Netherworld itself and believe that the Sith especially are harbingers of the Netherworld and the darkness within Chaos itself. They believe that to quicken the deaths of their enemies, draining away their life forces, that the Netherworld will strengthen and in turn they will become stronger as well.
  • General behavior:
    • Ardasa Arana share the same three tiered matriarchal hierarchy as their sister Kraujas Arana, but they have structured themselves in a different way. Whereas Kraujas Arana tie advancement between the Handmaiden, Daughter, and Matriarch tiers to combat and physical prowess, Ardasa Arana believe advancement in their society is based upon time spent within the Netherworld and how many souls they have sent to the darkness. Matriarchs are incredibly powerful, on par with the strength and Force ability as many Sith and Jedi Masters.
    • Ardasa Arana do not believe in luxuries, nor do they even partake in the monthly contests of their sisters.
    • Ardasa Arana are only able to reproduce if a Krauja Arana has been exposed for a long period of time to the Netherworld or to any of the rifts left in the galaxy from the Akala Crisis and the Oblivion Crisis. Exposure to these energies alters the cells of their body and their very Force presences, warping them, and many of the new angels say that the process also allowed them to hear the voices and thoughts of those that died as they mutated.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Originally, the Ardasa Arana were members of the sentient Sithspawn species called the Kraujas Arana, the Blood Angels, created by Darth Arcanix from captured Echani. The Kraujas Arana would go on to serve the Sith Valkyries of the Sith Empire, an all female organization that strove to convert other Force users and to guard against internal foes and guarding certain locations vital to the interests of Darth Moirai Darth Moirai and the then-Emperor Darth Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex . The Kraujas Arana served faithfully, and many continue to still do, but a change had begun for some members of the species.

On the world of Dathomir, a rift into the Netherworld known as the Warlock's Gate had been stabilized from the Rift of Despair opened by the goddess Akala during her attempt to conquer reality from the Netherworld. The gate, a stone slab covered in runes, allowed one to traverse into the Netherworld or the Dathomiri spirit plane and emitted Force energies from both, creating an aura of grief around the slab. Guarded first by the Mandalorians of the Mandalorian Empire, and then by the Sith that served Carnifex, the Kraujas Arana stationed at the portal had begun to change, the energies they were being exposed to mutating them. White wings stained in blood slowly turned black, with flickers of blue flame edging them. White hair became dark, skin became paler. Personalities and beliefs shifted, and their equipment changed to a more stylized version of black and gold and their spears were abandoned for scythes they treated themselves with newly acquired knowledge from their evolution.

Informed of the changes occurring there, the Lady of Secrets observed several of the evolving angels and determined that the Netherworld energies, and possible even magic from Dathomiri witch spirits had altered the angels into an even more deadly guardian and warrior-maiden of the dead.
