- Policies: Being the capital city of the Advena region, Axa is open to any and all who wish to visit it. As happens with all locations in Advena, tourists are required to possess a valid permit that allows them to stay within the region for up to three months. Other permits are required for longer stays such as those involving business or studies.

Geminidae possesses a vast and well distributed wealth; Axa, being one of its main cities, the hub of all inter-planetary relations and the capital of tourism receives a hefty funding for the upkeep of its public spaces, its security and to further its development. - Stability: High.
Geminians are known for their conflict-evading and solving skills and a decent presence of security and order enforcers makes sure that any cause for unrest is dealt with swiftly. As happens in any metropolis, there are some underground organizations who partake in illicit activities, with slicers being the main security threat. It is very rarely that major crimes are reported, and many say the greatest threat the city poses is its labyrinthine design. - Freedom & Oppression: Mostly relaxed and free.
The capital of the Advena region, Axa is one of the few cities in Geminidae that accepts and encourages the presence of foreigners. So long as the law is respected, everyone is free to do, come and go as they please. - Description:
Axa, also known as Distortion City, is one big metropolis of architectonic innovation and beauty. Filled with twisting skyscrapers, haphazardly placed platforms, contorting buildings and eccentric decorations, it seems to be the result of a fantastic spice trip brought to life. In truth, the whole city has been built upside-down, its higher levels nestled and held through a complex system of pillars created from terraformed mountain walls, the rest of the city growing towards the surface of the planet: approximately 18000m below.
The city is divided into districts, classified according to the direction and position of the platform they are built on (regular, diagonal, inverted or perpendicular in relation to the ground), each district possesses an intricate system of limited artifical gravity generators powered by Isotope-5 battery cells that allow people to walk and feel normally even in the platforms where Geminidae's gravity would otherwise send one falling to their death. The many inverted, diagonal or horizontal buildings and roads mess up with those who are not familiar with the city, throwing any sense of orientation away with ease. Luckily, the citizens are very understanding and more than willing to give directions, although hiring a guide might not be a bad idea.
- High Embassy: A district on its own, the High Embassy is a large platform that in the recent years has been relocated to the middle-lower levels of the labyrinthine vertical city. It houses all buildings and entities in charge of administering and supervising foreign affairs, from granting visitor and business permits to serving as a legal court for non-Geminians and as a place for holding meetings and conferences with foreign authorities, either from other governments or corporations who have interests in Geminidae.
- Ministry of Commerce: One of the Ministry of Commerce's largest offices is located in the High Embassy's platform. It is this specific building that administers all economic affairs with other systems or planets. The Ministry of Commerce also houses the Handlers, those in charge of contacting the Ambassadors when a citizen places a request for their services (company owners, mostly) or their presence is needed for matters that don't directly involve the higher administrative powers such as the Sovereign or the Tribunes but that are still of enough importance to justify their involvement.
- Ritiax District: Paradise for all those with refined tastes or a deep appreciation for culture, the Ritiax district is a lavish inverted platform which offers a very wide spectrum of activities and places to visit, specially if you've got the right amount of credits in your pockets. Many business tycoons, renowned scholars and beloved actors and singers call Ritiax their home.
- Hystrion Opera: The Hystrion Opera is the mecca of all artists of renown. A building that would seem to be alive, it works as an amphitheater while its "stage" area is able to shift and change in an incredibly diverse set of ways to create the perfect environment for its performers and their type of show. From dancers to singer, to actors and acrobats, every night Hystrion offers a different display of magnificent skill and outstanding wander, attracting citizens and tourists alike. The tickets are somewhat expensive, but all those who visit agree its credits well spent and find themselves wishing to return. The spectators are treated to the service of its many attendants.
- Pyris Museum: So large many consider it "a platform within the platform" Pyris is a colossus of a museum. With several wings and levels dedicated to all types of interests, Pyris has displays relating to history, art and science not only from Geminidae but several other cultures as well. The architecture of the museum is a mixture of classic and modern, a true testament to the love for diversity and variety of the Geminians. Its teams of archaeologists and scholars are among the most highly renowned and esteemed in this side of the galaxy. The Museum is often the site of events of importance, most notably auctions and balls, utilizing its theater or its large hall rooms.
- The Emerence: Probably the most famous and esteemed hotel in the whole of the Advena region, the Emerence is the temporary home of only the most rich, famed and recognized of individuals. Very few have been allowed to buy a penthouse in the breathtaking building and call it their permanent residence. Its personnel, from the chefs in their kitchens to the service and operators, is composed of the most highly-skilled professionals ready to serve and tend to their guests every wish and request. The hotel has every commodity imaginable and then some, so much so that one would never need to leave its premises if they didn't want to.
- Ixalis: A renowned restaurant and lounge, Ixalis is a complex of buildings that not only offers its magnificent cuisine and service, but also offices, conference rooms and other amenities for businessmen of high standing to conduct their meetings in the best environment possible.
- Mercuris Fors Casino: One of the jewels of Axa, the Mercuris Fors Casino is directly connected to the Emerence Hotel, but also possesses its own suites offered only to its more important and frequent patrons. It is one of the biggest attractions for tourists.
- Apex District: The Apex District is almost purely dedicated to commerce. Markets, stores, outlets, and any number of services have settled in the diagonal platform of Apex district where they are visited by thousands of clients everyday.
- Novis Mall: A large mall center, Novis is one of the biggest social hubs in Axa. From teenagers hanging out with friends, to visitor enjoying some window shopping and couples going on dates to see the latest holovids in its theaters or enjoy some food in its many food-courts, Novis has something for everyone.
- Mercis Avenue: Mercis' avenue is home to some of the more select stores, such as haute-couture designers, jewelry stores, Fullgear's tech-shops and more. However, many stands selling all kinds of things are scattered through the long and wide pedestrian avenue. It is well known for its lively atmosphere, filled with exotic decorations and street artists performing with the hopes of entertaining the visitors and maybe getting some spare credits.
- Hex District: Hex District, also known as the Purple District, is all about fun, leisure and wild nights. Hex has become the real, final form of geminian open-mindedness and people would seem to let go of their judgement and inhibitions as soon as they step foot in this platform. Mostly active at night, there is a reason why Hex has earned the moniker "purple district". Once the sun as fallen and the clubs and bars begin to show their true face, people will fill the streets. Those of them looking for a partner to spend the night with or trying to meet potential long-term acquaintanceswill wear an item of purple clothing to easily identify each other and get rid of some of the awkwardness that going up to someone can entail.
- Delyria Nightclub: One of the many clubs in the Hex district but undoubtedly the most popular one, Delyria is everything a nightclub should be and more. Famed for its thematic nights and its shifting interior, Delyria always feels like a new place and keeps its visitors wanting for more. Delyria has many areas and sectors, some of which are restricted to the VIP visitors. It also offers private rooms to those who can afford them. Their barmen and women are among the most skilled in the galaxy, and true to the Geminian value of diversity, almost every drink in existence is available. Some party-lovers visit Geminidae with the sole purpose of spending a night in the famed nightclub.
- Respyte: If stress or general tiredness plague your day to day, Respyte is the place to go. A spa & resort, Respyte is ready to offer its visitors a few days of absolute relaxation with its ample offer of treatments and activities. From massages, to meditation classes, to beauty treatments, Respyte is all about pampering oneself and letting go of the pesky worries of day to day life. Since the first moment within its premises you won't need to lift a finger, its many workers will take care of everything for you.
- The Grimm Needle: A famous tattoo parlor, the Grimm Needle has been decorating the skins and hides of individuals for centuries, being a popular spot not only for the ability of its artists but for its history. Usually they are all booked up and walk-ins are not accepted unless they drop in a generous amount of credits, then they can surely make time and space for one more.
- Ixen District: Ixen is one of the largest platforms in Axa, its sole purpose being to house all health-care and science related facilities. The whole platform is an aseptic field, and people are required to pass through sterilizing gas chambers located at all entrances to the district.
- The Asclepian Medcenter: The Asclepian Medcenter is a high-complexity hospital, a giant with enough capacity to attend to almost all Axan citizens at the same time in case of a catastrophe and backed up by several smaller units distributed through other platforms.
- Aspectis: Aspectis is a surgery center that specializes in esthetic surgery, reconstruction, rejuvenating and cloning procedures.
- Residential Districts:Several platforms serve the purpose of housing Axa's permanent residents and visitors. The ones closest to other points of interest usually house several hotels and inns, while the rest offer a wide array of apartments, lofts and penthouses of varying luxury and pricing that serve has homes for the permanent residents or belong to frequent visitors who have decided to acquire property in the city.
High. The people of Geminidae are known for being wary of strangers and used to their orderly and safe lives. Because of this, despite Axa being very welcoming of its visitors and tourists, the policing forces are ever present disguised among the citizens so as to not raise alarm. Policing droids are found distributed across the megacity, their presence mostly noted in the more populated districts. Everyone entering and exiting the city must pass through checkpoints.
Military presence is heavy in the spaceports, where every ship and cargo being brought in or taken from Axa is carefully registered. Overall, the city's safety measures are quite thorough but mostly conducted in a way that is non-restrictive or bothersome for those who have the right permits and don't alter the well-established order.
Blueprinted and constructed by the Viridens Corporation, Axa came to be several centuries ago to serve as the capital city of the then newly founded Advena Region, which would welcome foreigners for the first time in millennia back into Geminidae. Growing ever since, Axa slowly transformed into the architectural masterpiece it is today, skillfully designed to appeal both to tourists and serve its original purpose as a political and economical hub where all foreign affairs are tended to.
To this day, Axa keeps on growing and being remodeled, every district of the city carefully brought up to speed with any new technologies or construction methods. Improvement built upon improvement. However, Geminians are not keen on the idea of keeping on gaining terrain on nature to expand the city and satisfy the need for more urban space. This is the reason why in the later years the focus has shifted away from making more platforms and pillars and instead improving the already existing ones, while blueprints for other cities - more specifically arcologies - are prepared.
