ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Meiro Integrated Anti-Missile Deactivation System: This integrated system lessens the effects of Missile Deactivation Transmitters.
Highly Advanced Maneuvering Thrusters : The Flying Falcon is equipped with top-of-the-line maneuvering thrusters for excellent combat agility and mobility.
Highly Advanced Engines : The Flying Falcon is equipped with top-of-the-line maneuvering thrusters for great combat speed capable of keeping up with all but the most purpose built agile aircraft.
STRENGTHS
Deadly Interceptor: The Flying Falcon, specifically the XIII variant, is designed primarily to intercept, disrupt, and kill enemy bombers, reconnaissance craft, and enemy interceptors, and excels at this role with its excellent speed and maneuverability along with decent armament that allows it to fly circles around most of its opponents while whittling down their defenses. It has upgraded dogfighting capabilities compared to its base model with the addition of deadly short range AASM missiles.
SAWACs Synchronization: It is specially designed to work in conjunction with the Argus SAWACs craft to help with target identification, communications, and general combat guidance.
WEAKNESSES
No Shields, Thin Armor Due to cost, weight, and power restraints, the Flying Falcon does not have shields and has thin armor plating in order to allow it to still carry a decent complement of weapons with its speed and maneuverability.
DESCRIPTION
The AVSF-3L variant of the "Flying Falcon" designed for the XIII Battlegroup is in many ways the same as the base model Flying Falcon, except with AASM (Air to Air, Space missiles) commonly seen with the Strike Eagle. This allows it to be even more of a danger to its intended targets (bombers and recon craft) while enhancing its decent effectiveness in dogfighting against regular fighters. Due to the higher engineering cost and premium composites of materials required to enable these extra missiles without crippling its other abilities, it is of limited production (basically, for the tech mods, it's just the original with more missiles and an upgraded armament score to go from minor production to limited production).
