- Shipyards Name: Avernus Luxury Transports and Motorworks
- Classification: Planetary shipyard, Speeder garage, Chop shop
- Location: Coruscant Industrial District
- Affiliation: Shadow Hand Cartel, The Family
- Population: Moderately Staffed
- Accessibility: While Avernus is not a small facility, it is located in the Industrial District in Coruscant; without knowing where to look, it would be like trying to find a specific needle in a stack of needles the size of a city. Those that do find it, will find that it is guarded night and day, and only those with the proper credentials or personal approval from the higher-ups are allowed entrance.
- Description: Avernus Luxury Transports and Motorworks consists of a large factory floor, a machine shop for producing necessary parts, a warehouse for storing vehicle parts and maintenance droids, an office for the owner that overlooks the factory floor, and a board room for private meetings.

- Production: Starships/Yachts up to Frigate size, Land/Airspeeders & other ground vehicles
- Specialty: Luxury vehicles, racers
- Output: On average, Avernus produces 6 ships per month, but depending on the size and complexity may produce more or less than that number. Additionally, the garage produces an average of 12 speeders in a month, subject to the same caveat as its ships. Custom orders often have extra attention paid to the minutiae, with things like special upholstery and engravings being done personally by expert artisans.
- Market: Avernus produces vehicles for whoever has the credits to purchase them, though the vehicles it produces tend to attracts certain kinds of clientele. Their luxury vehicles attract the wealthy elite, while their speedsters tend to attract daredevils such as swoop racers.

- Factory Floor: The bulk of operations at Avernus happen here, where vehicles and ships of all shapes and sizes are constantly being assembled or disassembled, populated by large amounts of both organic mechanics and labor droids.
- Machine Shop: In the machine shop are lathes, plasma cutters, and other equipment for producing individual pieces of vehicles. Also in the machine shop are the charging stations for the factory's labor droids.
- Warehouse: Spare parts are stored in the warehouse, as well as maintenance droids. A hidden hatch protected by a cyberlock leads to a basement where stolen goods and parts are concealed.
- Private Garages: A few private garages exist for select members and associates of the Family, with three reserved at all times for Aurelius himself, Celty Ree, and Saraiya Darkstar's personal use.
- Office: Overseeing the factory floor from an elevated position above is the office of Avernus' owner, within which is an expensive genuine wood desk with an embedded terminal and holo-communicator, with secure HoloNet and DarkNet transceivers. Also in the office is a silent alarm beneath the desk, allowing Family forces to be alerted if the factory were to come under attack, and a magna-lock safe. In an state of emergency, such as when the alarms are tripped, security shudders descend to protect the office windows.
- Board Room: A stone's throw from the office is the board room, containing a long table that, like the office table, contains a holo-communicator with secure HoloNet and DarkNet transceivers. Like the office, the Board Room's windows conceal emergency security shudders that can be deployed during a state of emergency.

Aurelius Baldor owns a wide array of speeders and starships, but if there's two qualities he values above all else in them, it's speed and comfort. Sure he could buy from other manufacturers, but that's costly and he has specific needs from his vehicles, not all of which are entirely legal. So, what's an enterprising crime lord to do? Why, buy a defunct shipyard and turn it into his own motorworks company! The Devaronian purchased the deed to Ahtemis Luxury Transports, a shipyard in Coruscant's Industrial Sector that once belonged to "Bad Wolf Enterprises", a front corporation for The Family before Ivory Stroud disappeared and The Family's original iteration collapsed. Aurelius renamed the shipyard to Avernus Luxury Transports and Motorworks, and began hiring mechanics and technicians.
Avernus now produces a variety of luxury speeders and starships for discerning clientele through the company Speed Demon Motorworks, but that is not all. Beneath the surface Avernus also operates as a chop shop where stolen vehicles may be brought and resold or disassembled for parts, some of which end up in Speed Demon's vehicles themselves. In the warehouse, a hidden hatch leads to a basement where the parts of stolen vehicles are stored, as well as any other potentially "hot" items. When the bossman and his friends need their own space, the private garages exist to serve the needs of him and his more mechanically-inclined associates, such as Celty Ree and Saraiya Darkstar. The factory is patrolled at all times by loyal Goons of the Family, and in case of an emergency a silent alarm in the office can alert the Family of an attack to summon reinforcements.
