No longer willing, or capable of sustaining significant losses, the navy of the Final Dawn prioritizes fighter combat and, by extension fighter survivability. The Final Dawn also eschews conventional Imperial Naval tactics, perfecting a simplified system of power projection rather than the true Tarkin Doctrine. To that end, the Autarch Class Star Destroyer is, arguably a conservative upgrade of the Resurgent Class Star Destroyer of old, serving as an elite fleet carrier and plantery assault platform.
The Autarch Class serves in a battleship role for the Final Dawn, capable of unleashing devastating broadside and artillery based attacks, and is the mainstay of the rapidly growing Final Dawn fleet, far from the prying eyes of the wider galaxy awaiting the organizations grand purpose. The Autarch is larger than the Imperial Class it was designed to replace, however has a far smaller crew complement.
Slowly being pushed out of shipyards on the hidden fortress world of Exegol, the armada of Autarch's form the vanguard of the Final Dawn's invasion fleet...
