They have worked to develop the smaller walker like their orchid platforms with a few key advantages to the massive gun batteries. The size allows them to walk through freighter hallways and defend their ships. They can compact themselves when not in use to be travel size. In the streets they can operate to go after anything not Atrisian marked with biometrics or electronic signatures and they are able to deploy shield drones to augment the other vehicles and fighters that have been developed. The walkers are a marvel of future generational warfare beyond their next gen systems... jokingly referred by Miyoung to Junko as a series of guns and weapons with legs.
