• Calabi-Yau Payload Template: This is the core upgrade enabling variable munition and gear creation.
  • Dimensional Template Storage: The MK.X utilizes Calabi-Yau geometry to safely store the structural and chemical molecular blueprints for over a dozen grenade types and field equipment templates (armor patches, clothing, webbing, etc.) within a non-physical space.
  • On-Demand Fabrication: The mine uses Molecular synthasis technology to rapidly fabricate the selected grenade type(s) or gear instantly upon command, vastly reducing the size required for its multi-payload capacity.
  • Mixed Payload Deployment: The operator can now select any combination of the available grenade types and specify their individual deployment timing and arc.
• Duplicator Field: This feature utilizes the fabrication system for rapid utility and defensive application.
  • Defensive Fabrication: By channeling the Molecular Disruption system to the exterior field kit, the soldier can select and instantly duplicate templates for armor panels, heavy clothing, or webbing.
  • Protection on Demand: This removes the need to carry bulky spare materials. A soldier can duplicate several armored panels or specialized clothing layers as needed, providing an immediate level of protection and field flexibility against unexpected hazards like temperature extremes or gas attacks.
• Legion Protocol Intelligence (Friend/Foe ID):
  • Advanced Sensor Suite: The mine integrates a hardened Legion Protocol micro-brain linked to an advanced communication/sensor array.
  • Friend/Foe Identification: The Protocol analyzes transponder codes and hostile signatures. The mine will delay or abort deployment if a friendly target is within the calculated blast radius, preventing indiscriminate damage.
  • Adaptive Ejection: The Legion Protocol precisely calculates the ejection force and arc for each individually fabricated grenade, ensuring optimal spread and area coverage.

STRENGTHS

• Self Repairing: Designed with the materia for protection but also the ability to repair itself over time with small damage being a few minutes to hours and sections of the casing being days if heavily damaged.
• Calabi-Yau: Designed within to allow the compact design as various components can be within a singular space and the manifold created.
• Unmatched Field Utility: The ability to both deploy variable, intelligent munitions and duplicate defensive gear/clothing makes the MK.X an essential multi-role device for any operative.
• Intelligence and Safety: The Legion Protocol provides crucial Friend/Foe ID, significantly enhancing battlefield safety and ensuring the payload is only deployed against hostile targets.

WEAKNESSES

• Exotic Particle Volatility: The mine relies on Exotic Particles within its core and reacts violently near dark and anti-matter, risking structural rupture and payload loss.
• Legion Protocol Confusion: In areas saturated with intense electronic countermeasures (ECM) or heavily shielded targets, the Legion Protocol's Friend/Foe ID system can suffer from lag, potentially leading to a delayed deployment.
• Template Vulnerability (Paired): The Calabi-Yau template storage requires precise calibration. Extreme physical shock can cause the manifold to momentarily destabilize, temporarily locking access to the stored munition and gear templates until the mine's system recalibrates.

DESCRIPTION
Designed by Miyoung of the Commonwealth and funded by Junko and Shoma. The young and brilliant mind was in charge of their more advanced forms of study and looked towards a combination of science, mystical aspects like the force and most importantly mythology not just from Atrisia's past but also from a number of other areas of the galaxy. She looked at many things specifically their standard weapons and developing an advanced model of the lotus was important as they were able to develop it and then over develop the design to be something incredibly powerful. The Lotus MK.X Grenade is a radical evolution of the original Lotus Mine, transforming it from a simple dispenser into a Molecular Disruption node capable of generating and deploying a mixed payload of specialty grenades and field equipment. Utilizing Calabi-Yau architecture for template storage and the Legion Protocol for intelligent targeting, the MK.X is a versatile battlefield asset.
