-I| APPEARANCE: Arlo is a handsome lad, though a bit small for his age compared to other boys. He has short brown hair and eyes to match, is lean in build, and prefers to wear his house colors when traveling or tending to matters in the public eye. A run-in with a House Draco justiciar resulted in a saber scar that runs across Arlo's back, a reminder that nowhere is safe from Amnen's enemies.

-I| TRAITS: [Kind] [Blessed] [Reserved] [Artful Escapist] [Misfit Noble] [Scarred]

-I| BIO: The firstborn son of a minor lord in a middling house, Arlo was destined for much the same as his father's line before him; A quiet life as a lumber mogul on idyllic Artotias, beyond the notice of the major houses. Until his family was caught in the crossfire of a raid orchestrated by House Renoux. Young Arlo was but ten when he lost his mother, father, and older siblings in a fire that claimed his family home. It was only by the grace of a local girl and her family that the lordling was rescued and brought to the safety of Muunilinst and its patron house, the comparatively affable House Amnen. In the arms of the Yellow and Black, Arlo was given a new life and a new name. Cared for, as if one of the House's own. It is a debt that can never be repaid, a kindness that can never be forgotten. In the few years since, Arlo has devoted himself to being the best son he can to the found family who's borrowed blood is much thicker than he's ever known. Despite the cruelties suffered at the hands of Renoux, he harbors no intent to draw blades and settle the score; Instead, Arlo prefers to engross himself in more artful therapies.

All of this changed, however, when the Braxant Covenant collapsed. Distrust among the patron houses led to espionage and subterfuge, which in turn led to open infighting once discovered. The Covenant was dissolved forthright, and what followed was yet another bloody conflict in which brother turned against brother. When all was said and done, the noble houses were in shambles. Those who had survived the war were either fighting over scraps or hiding from rogue justiciars. Arlo was separated from the family who took him in, left to fend for himself without the Amnen's protection. He was an orphan yet again.

Arlo's first break on his path of exile was Mirial, where a remnant of the Ashlan Crusade had established a haven for refugees displaced by regional conflicts. While its main focus were victims of the Dark Empire's expansion and Neo-Mandalorian raids, those who had lost everything to the Covenant's dissolution were also in the mix. Arlo found himself among the orphans and widows begging for safety from the already broken Crusade. He found purpose, if only briefly, as an administrative assistant for a Trade Federation mogul working in the capital. It was there that he met Persephone Dashiell Persephone Dashiell who would soon become a fast friend. With her help, Arlo was able to win his freedom from the Trade Federation and escape a life of indentured servitude to the interstellar corporation and their Confederacy benefactors.

A long road lay ahead, and only time will tell where Arlo ends up. Promises of freedom and safety echo along the trade routes. Spacers whisper of a new republic on the rise, centered on the royal world of Naboo. With talents honed under the Trade Federation and a childhood spent catering to the lords and ladies of House Amnen, a move to another monarchial state felt only natural to Arlo.

In truth, so long as he could avoid House Renoux's justiciars and the ire of Confederate agents, Arlo would be happy anywhere.
