Application for the addition of the Iferetes Empire into Major Status.

So uh, i dont know if there is a structure to this but... hey time to give it a go, ill just go piece by piece i guess.

Ok so first the name Iferetes Empire... simple enough.
As for my reason for wanting to go major, it is several things, that i shall now bullet.

• First off, we are a custom Empire, not some two bit Sith ruled thing or Canon named thing that someone wanted to revive, no we are a custom experience that has a history being shaped by the writers, i mean, up until i had a tone of stuff happen to me i had an entire campaign that i plan to resume centered around the history of the faction, and its rise from nothingness to now. If such is doubted in the faction Advertisement there is a section in the timeline DEVOTED to such Roleplays with the timing laid out and ready for the future threads once i can revive them.
• Next off, Effort. Me, Aedan Miles, and the writer for Lilythe are spending massive amounts of time talking about where we want to bring this faction and i am spending massive amounts of time making sure that everything is A-ok and so that we can give everying a fresh feeling about it. Recruiting and the creation of the backstory and the massive work done into technology and our planning of the world that we want to shape is immense. Infact, me and Aedan spent... oh say about four hours talking about a faction thread we want to do, that doesnt actually do anything more than give IC reason for one of our starting planets being one of the starting planets. And we arent even done with that.
• Third, Joiners. Now, we are not the most populace group, nor the most popular, and it is true that two of our current members have not been on their A game and have not posted much or been offline for extended times, but those two members will be back and accounted for, they are on bored and i know that one of them is ready to get going. As for the second, Robert Guerrin's writer, he is dealing with something that he has been doing in RL and that is part of his reason but he will be back in the week and i have known this guy for quite a bit and he is a very active man once he is done with Real life things. Other than that, i am offering a new experience for those that wish to join, and i promise an IC thread, in which their arrival and Joining is documented and recorded, allowing for them to truly have a new experience from the moment they approach me about joining or click the join faction button.
• Rules: Were following those so far and have a power base, so no worrying about us getting in the way and being useless.

Thats pretty much it, i mean, i know we are not the most populace and two of our members are dealing with some poodoo, but hey, were a new experience, a fresh start. Nothing we are based on is taken from lore, nothing in our history is lore, we are for all intents and purposes a alien experience and i intend to make it so that joiners and those future members are the ones that shape this faction's history for MONTHS, if not years, to come.

Vittinghus Naure and Robert Guerrin are the two mentioned in the first post, about having Real world problems, will be contacting them when i can due to knowing them, wont be till tomorrow at the earliest though due to time zone difference, other than that the rest i will be getting ahold of on the site so they will likely be just as slow due to not having quick access to them via Skype, i expect everyone to have posted by Tuesday at the latest as well as any more new last minute joiners that i have been talking to on skype.

I'm going to deny this application for Major Status. I do not feel it will be anything more than a flash in the pan - even if you were to get the writers required to pass. It does not feel well put together and lacks a lot of the effort many others are putting into their factions. I'm sorry, but perhaps joining another Major Faction and lending your efforts to them is more advantageous to your goals.

While i thank you for responding, and judging. I am insulted in your words stating there is a lack of effort in this faction, and furthermore am not merging this faction with another. We may be denied for now by we will be back and continue to grow, unless this denial means that we can never apply again, but until there is absolutely no chance of this succeeding i will keep it going and continue to put more and more effort in this. As a last word, once more i find your assumption that there is a lack of effort to be insulting and would ask that you not say such in the future, i have spent hours writing back story, creating files on Google docs for future Tech ideas, and so on. So please, do not say that i have put a lack of effort or thought into this.

Sorry but I actually have to agree with Tef, @[member="Arthur David Hardrada"]. The extent that has gone into many of the major factions of recent past and present are sometimes gargantuan. I ran the Mnenchei Dominion almost all by myself for the majority - no, the entirety of its measly nigh-two-month existence. It was very, very hard to do with a real life to tend to and that's why I finally pulled the plug. I can tell you right now, it's hell to keep up with. This is something you really have to build on solid ground, and construct that strong foundation for. Else he's right, it will be a flash in the pan.
On a side note, if there's any material that's directly relative to the description of the faction or its parts, I'd advise next time to put them in thurr with the OP.
Anyways, no need to get too worked up over it; it only means you can come back twice the wiser and prepared next time.

Im not worked up over it not getting accepted, im worked up because Tef sad to my face that something ive spent over the last month working on, and even before then when it was just a planet, more than 200 hours on, is a lack of fucking Effort. THAT is why im pissed. I spent a massive amount of time and effort on this thing, and am still doing so, and Tef blatantlly put in his post that "lacks a lot of the effort many others are putting into their factions."

Factions aren't only one member's effort. Every member must work towards making the faction interesting and that via RP. Have many threads, do cool stuff, work as a minor faction. Being a major faction is not always a good thing. You'd have to become really active, starting threads, training people, dominating planets and everything. Maybe Tef didn't find your faction to meet the standards of a faction. I have not noticed much being done, but I may be wrong. I am not a member of the faction and I can't see everything you do.

But one thing is for sure: first, a faction should survive as a minor faction, and then they can consider becoming major. Strengthen your faction while it's minor and then, maybe in the future, it's so solid, that people already love the faction. Remember, sometimes becoming major destroys a faction if it hasn't become strong as a minor one.
