SPECIAL FEATURES
- By utilizing genetic material from Gen'dai specimens, the treatment modifies the subject's clotting cells to rapidly regenerate injuries including the rapid regeneration of missing limbs. It does this be changing the platelets and the fibrin and fibronecrin that form at wound sites, activating a rapid reconstruction of damaged tissues and cells, including bone, muscle, and nerves. Organs can also be healed in a similar fashion if the damage done is not fatal.
- In addition, the treatment also effects the muscle cells of a subject's body, greatly enhancing their strength by modifying their composition to a similar state as a Gen'dai's.
STRENGTHS
- Like the its predecessor, the EX-324 serum, the Angitia Treatment grants extraordinary healing capabilities, repairing superficial wounds in moments and re-growing full working limbs in a few minutes.
- Also, much like its predecessor, the Angitia Treatment boosts muscle strength to higher levels, giving a subject the physical capabilities to match the strength of five Wookiees.
WEAKNESSES
- While it grants amazing regenerative properties to the subject, the treatment does have its limits. A fatal blow to the brain or heart will still kill any subject that has gone through the genetic enhancement.
- Much like the EX-324 serum, any subjects that have Yuuzhan Vong DNA or biots within their systems will suffer catastrophic cellular degeneration, quickly becoming nothing but a puddle of organic goo.
- The subject's metabolism is heightened during reconstruction of limbs, which can be incredibly painful for subjects due to the increased localized heat (the red glow as the limb rebuilds and the activated modified platelets flood to the injury/reconstruction location)
DESCRIPTION
As the next development from Spaarti Creations' Project OPHION, the Angitia Regeneration Treatment is meant to be an evolution of an older Aurora Industries' bio-enhancing serum, the EX-324. Ce Perlo, the Kaminoan in charge of the company's operations, had tasked a group of her scientists and geneticists to study the old serum and develop improvements to it, seeing both a commcerical and military application for such advanced regeneration.
The scientists developed a gene therapy that involves introducing Gen'dai genetic material into a subject's body, merging it with the subject's own cells. Specifically, the cells and proteins that are involved with wound healing in whatever species the subject is. The new material modifies the platelets of the subject to rapidly repair and reconstruct damaged tissues and structures of the body, even regrowing entire limbs, flowing to the injured location with a reddish glow underneath the subject's skin. The treatment also had the desired side effect of greatly enhancing a subject's strength, to Ce's approval.
