Yasha Cadera
Mom'alor
Coruscant, Lower Atmosphere
The Sumatiyara
The Ambassadorial envoy convoy entered One Sith Space with the distinct disease of a memory of free space. It was quiet, but for the Sith escort. Distinctly fallow of the light berth of travel and freedoms, I feel the discomfort of a ship full of Fringe going into the belly of the newest beast along our borders.
I cannot say I am content with the idea of being so thoroughly in the bosom of the Sith, but as I turn to my fellow High Councillors, I feel protected enough. I check my dress shirt collar and adjust my tie, shove my suit jacket on. Peering in the mirror my droid Mulligan holds up, I check my hair and chin. All's well. After the Republic came to our door, it felt fitting to repay the favour for the One Sith, seeing as how Coruscant is part of this new empire in part due to many of our Fringe contingents. Still, the idea unsettles me. I pull my emotions, my mental fabric inward and close it away, putting up the barriers I'll need to survive without being influenced by the people we're about to meet.
"We prepped for this, [member="Lucien Cordel"]?" Lucien. Never thought he'd become one of the mainstays of my adult life. But, the Force works in ways even I don't always understand and that's alright with me. I turn back to the holoprojector unit in the small bridge and nod. It flickers on.
"One Sith Government, this is High Councillor Anders Sivas of the Fringe Confederation on an Ambassadorial Mission. We are making our final approach, please advise confirmation of location as the Senate Building. Repeat. Confirm. Sivas Out."
I let the droid turn off the channel and go back to sit in the living area with [member="Kitt Solo"], [member="Hannibal Oryen"] and [member="Lucien Cordel"]. "Time to shine, guys. See what we can do."
