Shouts and cries rang out as the Mandalorians continued the bombardment. This was overkill. Another napalm attack struck the rubble of the former fortress, as if seismic warheads were not enough. Smoke, ash and dust billowed out across the Kaamos Territory. Adelram could feel the heat against his face. There were cries of distress as the people suffered from the soot the washed in around the evacuees. Vision was limited, the figures and trees seemed to turn to silhouettes in the haze of smoke. Ahead people started shouting, at first Adelram rushed ahead to see what caused all the commotion. Then he stopped dead in his tracks, shock gripping him.
Mandolarians. A man had been shoved down to the ground, and a Mandalorian stood atop him implanting him with a chip of some kind. Cattle, they were being rounded up and turned into cattle. "My lord!" his attention broke to see Commander Delaz, one officers of the House Thul's loyalist forces. "Commander?" Adelram slightly astonished the man was still alive. Adelram tried to say something but the commander, who looked like hell, was pleading. "You have to run. They are implanting people with tracking chips like slaves. I heard the some of their soldiers talking, they are going turn Thul lands into some kind of Mandalorian project. You have to run or they will implant you too. Go run!" At first the young exiled did not move. "Thats insane. The other houses-" Adelram was cut short when the Commander stuffed a note in his hand from [member="Anastacia Fa'leen"]. "They lied to us. The other nobles offer us help while we get detained and implanted." As the commander spoke Adelram looked down in disbelief. "We both know what will happen if you stay, the cloak dagger games these people play."
Adelram's mind was spinning. Mandalorian occupation of House Thul lands, Thul Loyalists and other adults of Thul lands being implanted. He said nothing, his mind was still in shock. "I came here to save my people. And now I've failed them." Adelram stated as a rush of guilt came over him. Commander Delaz looked Adelram in the eyes, his expression changed to that of being of almost being calm. "Char." Adelram seemed stunned by the single word, yet his attention became fixed to Delaz. "I've always considered you a son of this house. I knew your real mother, and your aunt as well. I've failed them in many ways, like your father's death." The commander set his hands on Adelram's shoulders. "These people killed your mother and father. They left our lands a smoldering ruin, and will turn your home into their new military project site. They round up the people of the Kaamos lands, of House Thul, and implant them like Hutt slaves. They blame your family for an ancient coup that was fault of the Ulgos. Do you really believe they will let you walk away from all this?" In defeat Adelram's gaze shifted to the ground. "You'll be a royal hostage for the rest of your life, condemned privately and your every move watched, if your nor assassinated first. Char, Lady Artesia sent you into exile for one reason. The Organas, the other Great Houses, they are your enemies." Adelram looked back at Delaz, again in disbelief. Yet in that moment he realized Commander Delaz was right. "Run."
"OVER HERE! Look one is a Thul noble." Adelram's attention was cut to some Mandalorians coming his way, getting ready to detain them for their implant procedure. "For House Thul!" Commander Delaz shouted and pulled out a small blaster, putting a blaster bolt clean into the head of a unsuspecting Mandalorian. Adelram turned and ran, he could hear several shouts ring out. Commander Delaz fell to the ground dead as blaster fire tore the man apart. Adelram didn't look back, he just kept running. His lungs burned from the thick smoke, his eyes watered and burned the airborne soot and ash. Soon he came to The Red Comet. His chest heaving as climbed into his starfighter, he switched on his avionics and fired up the engines. The Red Comet lifted up off the ground, Adelram punched the throttle the ship roared out into the atmosphere. He doubted they could catch this starfighter. As soon as he had a course charted, he activated the lightspeed and vanished into space.
