Private Aggressive Negotiations : Round 2 Electric Boogaloo

BILBRINGI SHIPYARDS , BILBRINGI
3 Months after the Namadii Corridor Skirmishes

Sularen stood infront of a window in his office within the Bilbringi Shipyards gazing upon the Large Flottila of Warships assembled around the Bilbringi Shipyards comprising of 2 Dozen Claymore-Class Heavy Cruisers and a Trio of Lucerhulk-III Supercarriers which represented two-thirds of SularenCo's Private Security Fleet. An Impressive Fleet yes but yet not one capable of challenging the GADF in direct confrontations , although the purpose of SularenCo's Security Fleet was to protect the Assets of the Corporation in the first place. Sularen had jointly-owned the Bilbringi Shipyards with the Chiss Warlord known as Grand Moff Vel'alari and recently he had heard that the Galactic Alliance had begun closing in on Bilbringi , which was a good sign and a bad sign at the same time. For this would mean Vel'alari could finally join the Alliance as she had always planned although there was the risk that the Alliance might take a more hostile approach given the Grand Moff being nothing more then a Warlord and having little Legitimacy.

This is why Sularen had mobilized a large portion of his Security Fleet to Bilbringi , to reinforce the Vel'alari's Fleet and to ensure that the Bilbringi Shipyards remained in the hands of SularenCo. However Sularen already being on thin ice had no intentions to fight the GADF and therefore had made arrangements to seek a Compromise with Chancellor Chandra herself. Already relations between Chandra and Sularen were strained as a result of Sularen's
Takeover of the Xa Fel Shipyards almost a year ago although Sularen intended to set all hostilities aside to ensure Vel'alari could join the Galactic Alliance and Properly Legitimize her rule over Bilbringi. And Failure was unacceptable as it would mean that Sularen's Alliance with Vel'alari would have been in vain.

And thus Sularen waited in his Office for the Arrival of Chancellor Chandra. Hopefully they could reach some sort of arrangement as Bilbringi was critical to the Lord-Imperator's Plans within the Galactic Alliance and beyond his envisioned Takeover of the Galactic Government.

"Well, Commander, it looks like someone's been busy," Adhira hissed to Teica Giraan Teica Giraan as one of their ships docked, giving them both a good look at the little fleet that had been assembled. The Sularens were a near-constant annoyance, but at least they were a one-trick bantha. "I shudder to think what these were built from." For Adhira's part, she had also traveled to the location with a sizeable detachment of ships, including Alliance One. Those ships would hang menacingly over Bilbringi Shipyard lest anyone there forget their place. When the door hissed open, Adhira stepped out with Teica and a young Jedi Knight in tow.

She was met by a few polite guards who ushered them to an office on the higher levels that she could only assume housed Marlon Sularen.
"Marlon," she said with a tight smile as she crossed the threshold with her escort. The old woman took a moment to look around the room with her hands clasped in front of her before moving forward to give him a warmer greeting, squeezing his elbows and miming a peck on either cheek. "It has been so very long since we last spoke, I must say I was rather surprised to hear from you," Adhira made herself comfortable in a nearby chair and crossed her legs.

"So, why have you asked me here today?" Adhira folded her hands politely over her knees and smiled curiously as Marlon Sularen as the Jedi drifted into view behind her.

Let the Games Begin

[Commander Giraan reporting for duty]
[Location: Bilbringi Shipyards]

The commander leaned to the right, standing just outside the shuttle's cockpit. Arms crossed before her, Teica kept her eyes open, and her ears more so. The Resolution stood nearby, missiles ready to launch at a moment's notice. Alliance One, and her escorts would also hang overhead, weapons similarly primed. Here they were, descending into the belly of the beast, a low grumble ringing out in the air.

"Well, Commander, it looks like someone's been busy," The chancellor had hissed, "I shudder to think what these were built from."

Teica had nothing to offer, No wisdom, no quip, and as such, she stayed silent. Massive and miniscule warships alike had overrun the shipyards, their twisted and warped spaceframes littering sensor readings. The beast had grown hungry.

There was a brief shudder of turbulence as the shuttle's docking ring clamped with the shipyard's airlock, then silence. The decompression reached her ears, and before she knew it, the doors were open.

"Docking clamps active, airlock depressurized, ma'am." One of the pilots turned to face her.

"Roger that," The commander pushed herself to stand, taking a few seconds to let the pain in her leg subside, before she turned to the chancellor, "We're here, Chancellor."

They crossed through, from the cramped interior of the shuttle to the unsettling maze of hallways and viewports. Up they went, through turbolifts, across stairs, until the doors of Sularen's office came into view. Two guards flanked the entrance, staring down the visitors as the large sheets of metal slid out until their disappeared, leaving the contents of the room in full view.

Diplomacy would prevail.

The Chancellor crossed through, and made her greetings. She followed after. Teica's limp, a gift from the Brotherhood, was now heavily pronounced in her walk. Even the jedi made it in before her. The commander took a position to Chandra's right, arms put at ease, and feet firmly planted in the ground; ready to strike.

Let the games begin.

"Sir , the Chancellor has arrived with a Miitary Commander known as Teica Giraan and an Unidentified Jedi Knight." a Security Officer said as he entered Sularen's Office. "Very well , bring them in" Sularen said. Soon enough the Chancellor and her escorts had arrived

"Marlon, It has been so very long since we last spoke, I must say I was rather surprised to hear from you, So, why have you asked me here today?"

As the Chancellor Spoke Sularen kept his posture , his back facing the Chancellor and her Escort and his hands clasped behind his back. As the Chancellor Finished Sularen began speaking "Thank you for coming here on short-notice Chancellor. While our current Political Relationship might be somewhat Complicated i requested this meeting to discuss about something important. About the Fate of the World below us , Bilbringi."

"But first before we begin i have a single question to ask to you Chancellor." Sularen then turned around and sat down at his desk ready to begin official talks , and as he sat down he asked one single question. "Are you familiar with Grand Moff Vel'alari? The De-Facto Ruler of Bilbringi?" Sularen's tone was cold and his expression was emotionless. Bilbringi was critical to his plans and he needed to ensure that he and Chandra had atleast established some sort of compromise over the Fate of the World.

The Alliance viewed Imperials somewhat Negatively as demonstrated with the rise of tensions between Sularen's Regime on Byss and Chandra's Administration. Sularen had taken a minor over-step yet the Alliance was ready to get rid of him over a minor incident that his Government on Byss had no involvement what-so-ever. If Sularen was to turn the tables against the Senate and his other enemies in the GA he would first require more Political Influence and Bilbringi was key to it.

If Sularen could just compromise with the Chancellor , then Bilbringi would be secured for his plans. But if he failed it would mean the loss of both an Important Ally and an Important Asset and thus it was important that he used whatever method necessary to convince Chancellor Chanra to compromise on this matter.
