BACKSTORY:
Adora Jean Straife was born a quintessential child of Corellia. Adventurous, brave, and a starship savant, she was raised to be one, too. She was adopted as an infant and does not know her biological parents. Her adoptive father was a shipbuilder and Shipbuilders Union president while her mother was a captain in the Corellian Defense Force.
After graduating with an engineering degree from the University of Corellia, Adora followed in the footsteps of her mother and joined the CDF. She excelled as a pilot and starship engineer and rose to the rank of Technical Sergeant. While enlisted, she fell in love with a fellow pilot. After a few months they were wedded and a few months after that he was killed in the line of duty.
After the SGHW, Adora honorably discharged from the military and returned to Corellia to care for her aging parents. She taught at the University and worked at the shipyards, putting her degree to good use.
After a while of domesticity, Adora felt restless and desired a life beyond a gravity well. She joined the Corellian Transport Union, flying as security and helping deliver goods to nearby planets ravaged by the war.
Despite a comfortable life, Adora incessantly yearns for adventure outside the space lanes.
