Hello my fellow members! I posted a thread about two weeks ago and did get a few people to step into the spot! So that's great news.

Now we need to implement the ideas they come up with bolster our activity. We need to do this to stay as a major faction and make a mark on the galaxy.

Keeping this in mind, we have reached out to a few other factions to help us. The ME has stepped in and propose a war game or training type session with a Star Wars type version of paintball and combat training.

So keep watching our faction threads and keep posting! Hope to get the chance to write with you all.

(On a side note, I would like PMed to me or another faction admin all faction related threads so I can keep track of them.)

I know we just went through this before Christmas, and I know everyone is busy with school, real life and everything else. But if we are to maintain our presence on the map we have to do a bit more, and maintain it.

I know Ra is doing everything she can and this is something difficult to face when you're new to being an FO. I know we all want her to succeed, and that we want to write the stories that she has planned out.

Oh geeze...sounds like a video gamer's dream.

No offense to those who like that kind of gaming. But I like to tell stories and will jump in with anyone wishing to do character development or system development. Just hate invasion threads for the sole purpose of gaining hexes on a map. Sorry.
It's not that I don't like writing conflicts, I do. I'm currently in two FO threads with danger at every corner and losing friends lives and loving it. But to write for the sole purpose of gaining hexes is not my muse.

I'll do my part and color our corner of the world with crayons and do my best to stay alive in enemy territory.
And yes, I'll see about entering more of our faction threads and spreading our good Alderaani cheer and hospitality.

Ok, now I have to go and see if I'm going to survive another day among the FO.
Damn they are cruel.

Sorry, didn't mean for it to sound so...gulp...so obtuse.
I just meant I don't participate in fleet and group invasions where story writing is not as important as who brings into the conflict the bigger guns, is all.

I love writing conflicts, but prefer to commit in a small group where there is a mutual gain for everyone involved in one form or another. Again, everyone has their niche and what works for one may not work for another. That's why I love writing in a diversified community.

I didn't read that as being obtuse. lol I enjoy using invasions as part of my char development personally or as a means to an end. It is very unlikely I would include Ra in any because of her IC beliefs and feelings on things. However, I've had my other chars involved in invasions recently. (Last 4 months)

The dominions a faction does are NOT invasions, but they are what gain most factions area on the map. We do have a dominion up that is almost complete called the Scars of Time. If you want I can provide you a link for that and you can post in it if you want.

Otherwise, we have several other faction and open threads you can join.

I kind of got lost a bit skimming through it, at this stage. I've no clear direction as to the reason for me to pop in, unless someone needs a lift out or something.

Andi just joined it and he brought his own objective. That is always an option in these. You write a diplomat char and I think one of the objectives was to attempt to be diplomatic to the people of Dorsis and bring them under FWC wings. Not sure if anybody picked that one to work on.
