Act I: Sands of Time

@[member="Satara Hawk"]
WHEREVER SATARA IS

Doc walked next to Satara, after getting confused for a little bit. He stood there awkwardly, blinking as she spoke. Things were happening. He was confused. He leaned his head back, and gulped a little bit. Okay. Everythings confusing Kaiden, calm down. CALM DOWN KAIDEN CALM DOWN - oh hey, this witch lady was pretty bangin'. He raised up an armored hand. He felt pretty stupid, clad in his fancy-dancy armor while everyone was wearing their fancy clothes. Daddy issues, time travel, a shrinking dude. Nope, not for Doc. He wanted out.

"Just saying, is anyone else really worried that we're NEVER getting out of here? Plus, that little girl looks like the type to straight-up murder someone. Just sayin'."

Orn'komad said:
"If you are right, and we are here to witness the pivotal moments of this history, please do not take it for granted that we are here now.

Jorus Merrill said:
"Architect," he said in a quieter moment, "if we've been here nine years, you might know a little of me by now.

Antares Windu said:
"Your daughter will kill you, Your Majesty."

The Architect remained silent.

He stepped towards Jorus Merill and placed a single index finger upon the man's forehead. A great white light grew ever so bright from the tip of his finger, a light that eventually blinded the entirety of the Main Group.

The cold night's air hits you pretty quickly.
Your stomach drops as you plummet. You've been thrown off a rooftop.
You don't have a lot of time to wonder if this is the end. Adrenaline hits you like a truck. So does the ground.
Explosions echo overhead. Burning shrapnel rips through the building you left as it begins to collapse ontop of the building you're on. You look up for the first time since being thrown through the air by an explosion - And that's when you see it.
mfxe.png
The glare of blaster bolts and explosions fills the night sky like a lightning storm. You're still on Dathomir - possibly even in Luminoth - and you've got a building about to fall on you.
Akala, still the same age as you saw her last, drops next to you onto the roof.
"COME ON!"
A speeder whizzes by, something akin to a STAP that you recognize from your timeline. Akala is seen for a single blur of a moment before gripping the pilot around the neck and hitching a ride on his back.
Several more STAP vehicles are headed in your direction.
The night is abuzz with war. Dathomir is being invaded. But how long has it been since the King's verdict... ?

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
"Son of a..." A sharp pain crawled up her back, her legs hurting as well as her side from the explosion and fall that had forced her to the ground. It wouldnt have been so bad if it wasnt so sudden, one moment they were in the throne room and now she stood here in pain. Her eyes found @[member="Akala"] as she spoke and then jumped onto a STAP that passed, the words 'come on' ringing through her mind as she stood there and seeing the approaching STAPs Alex made a ran dash for one, jumping up and gripping the controls to swing around and secure herself on the STAP with its pilot. "Follow Akala now." She needed to make sure this girl stays safe, if she is right then the Rakatan peoples have done what she said they would, and this girl was the most important thing in the immediate area. "And make sure you step on it, you must reach Akala before something happens. It would take no more convincing as the pilot gunned it and they sped up towards the princess, reaching her in a minute after Alexandra had acquired her ride. "AKALA, What is going on, is it the Rakata?" She knew the answer but had to hear it for herself, yelling over the STAPs and the sounds of battle.

Vulpesen growled as he hit the ground, moving to roll over to his feet. "Kriff." Drawing his saber from his robes he caught trace of a STAP coming his way. "Excuse me sir." Grabbing the handle, he swung himself up behind the man, placing his activated saber just under his jaw. "Rakatta or Akala, also what is going on?" His voice was rought, unforgiving and serious. He had no intention of killing this man, but good results could come when such people thought otherwise.

Orn'komad

Fast Talking Face Reader
Orn lay on his back, processing the last few minutes. That's... disappointing. I wanted to see the king`s response. He was now fairly certain the Architect was behind the time jumps - the glowing finger thing couldn't be a coincidence. Still, if King Oa had been right, this was the next turning point. Not exactly a comforting thought.
Without warning he vaulted to his feet and reached into his jacket. With a flick of his wrist, a butterfly knife flipped open and emitted a faint hum. Now, time to follow Akala. Another STAP is coming.

The vehicle swung by the building, and Orn'komad stepped off the roof and onto the pilot.

Before the pilot could correct the erratic swerving from the sudden weight change, Orn's knife was at his throat. "You see your buddy with the girl on his back?" he growled. "Follow them. Shoot anything and you're dead before your target." He had no idea how to fly this thing, and wouldn't be able to anyway if it was Rakatan tech. Bloody Force users. As long as the pilot didn't know that, though, he had a chance.

Doc was no stranger to warfare, he didn't need some 14 year old girl telling him to move the hell out of the way from a collapsing building. Bolting to the edge, the Republic commando found himself strangely wishing for a bigger knife- or even a gun. Something. He did have a hold-out slug thrower, but that thing wasn't very useful right now. Jumping onto a STAP, he forced the pilot lower, and muttered an apology as he smashed the pilot's face into the controller, then threw him over the STAP. He controlled it now!

HA! GO KAIDEN, GO KAIDEN, IT'S YO BIRTHDAY!

Oh yeah.

The fact that he didn't know where(when) or what he was doing. He beamed after Akala, lowering his head to gain speed, coming near her.

"WHAT IS GOING ON AND WHAT IS HAPPENING WHY IS IT HAPPENING WHERE IS IT HAPPENING WHERE AM I AND WHEN IS IT RIGHT NOW?"

@[member="Akala"]

A building was falling on top of them? The timing was impeccable. He started to run to the edge of the building, he already saw @[member="Doc"] jump off and he wouldn't be left behind. He leapt over the edge, and fully kicked someone off of their STAP. A shame, something he should be ashamed of but he didn't care. There was no time to care, there was a mystery to solve, @[member="Akala"] had to be stopped. There was no way he was going to let her get away.

He tried to urge the STAP to move faster, he put everything it had into it. He would wait until he was close enough...And then he would bring down Akala. Whatever was necessary. He hadn't even been born yet, so even if he died wouldn't he just wake up in his own time? At least he hoped so. No, probably wouldn't work like that.

Tonight on 'Touched by a Celestial' -

And then he got timejumped rather hard. Between the falling building and the Celestial with boundary issues, he wasn't sure he wouldn't take the falling building. He scrambled off to the side, dragging some poor nameless fool, then jumped to catch the STAP pilot that Doc had discarded. The pilot was Kwa, it transpired.

"Easy, mate, easy."

"I must get to the forward operating base."

"Yeah, I wouldn't mind havin' a landmark either. Plus I can fly anything."

He hurried off in the STAP pilot's wake, the ancient war ballad Don't Split the Party ringing in his ears.

@[member="Jorus Merrill"]

Apparently she had been time jumped yet again. By now such an occurence had long stopped being a surprise. Salvoes of blaster bolts filled the sky and created a beautiful light show that would put the maker of any action holovid to shame, explosions echoed, along with screams. Now this was far more to her liking!

She saw Akala as she leapt down the building, but then the girl was gone, having vanished in the horde of STAPs that were filling the air like swarms of angry locusts. She did not need some annoying little girl to tell her to get off a building that was being ripped apart. One STAP pilot was unlucky enough to be in the trajectory of her descent and was unceremoniously thrown off when she smashed her boot against his skull, plummeting down into the abyss to what was probably going to be a long descent and a rather painful death when he hit the ground.

Needless to say Moira paid him no mind at all, rather she was content with all the mayhem around her. After enduring the tedium of being time jumped every few minutes, having to deal with cryptic and not particularly informative royals, this suited her tastes far more. Powering up the engines she shot through the air, seeing Jorus ahead she homed in on him. As for ancient war ballads, she was playing Hammer of the Gods. It was terribly fitting and she had downloaded the entire opera ages ago.

The STAP caravan, which seemed to be a bodyguard contingent of Kwa soldiers dispatched to protect the princess, followed Akala's head STAP vehicle. They flew through the streets of Luminoth, easily recognizable once again as it's streets were now lit with flames and debris. War had come to this city, and it was a sight to behold.

PALACE GARDEN OF LUMINOTH

Blaster bolts echoed through the air. They circled in the air a few times before landing in the gardens behind the palace. "Thank you, Praetor." She murmured, distraught, stepping down from the STAP vehicle into the garden.

She began to jog into the palace, ignoring the main group.

The Praetor Kaa removed his helmet, as did his soldiers - those who had given the members of the Main Group a ride.

"I know you have questions, but we must move quickly. Dathomir is under invasion - the Infinite Empire has come for the Architect."

The Praetor began running full speed to follow Akala into the Palace.

Antares jumped off the STAP quite rapidly. He saw @[member="Akala"] running inside and saw his 'friend' @[member="Praetor Kaa"] running in also. Something was going to happen, and it wasn't going to be good. "PRAETOR!" He yelled and he started to run after the both of them.

Once inside he looked around, though paid attention to nothing, the Force aided him as best as it could in the Palace and he said, "praetor, stop Akala!"

Vulpesen listened to @[member="Praetor Kaa"] and looked at the terrified man in his grasp. The man was trembling, too terrified to speak until the praetor did it for him. "Akala, Akala!" Satisfied with the answer, Vulpesen deactivated the blade and leaped off, moving towards @[member="Akala"]. He had a feeling that what @[member="Antares Windu"] was saying may have had merit, but right now, they had other problems. "Akala, we've been warped again, but I do realize the time. In any case, where is the architect, how many are attacking, and what are our resources?"

Alexandra removed her sabers from her belt and looked @[member="Praetor Kaa"] and @[member="Akala"], about to ask the very question that @[member="Vulpesen"] did but stopping the moment it left his mouth. She ran full speed after the Praetor and Akala, moving as fast she could to catch up until she was running along side Akala. "Miss, Slow down, we need to know whats going on..." Alexandra had a strange feeling for a moment and then it hit her, where was @[member="Tamara"]. She cursed herself, forgetting the girl she had been trying to help all this time, hopefully that @[member="Satara Hawk"] person remembered to look after her.

"Smegging bloodied battle nuns on Yavin IV!" Vorhi was getting annoyed with the time-leaping. Oh, and this time, the ground was missing. Hilarious. Absolutely brilliant. So yeah, yell out and expletive that he was pretty certain was a b-rate holovid starring an Atrisian actress sans clothing, or something. Now what was his plan again?

Oh, right, there was totally no time for a plan. Ground was coming on fast. Well, Dathomir's gravity was pretty close to Bothawui's, go figure. Melida had a bit less, though. At least, when he'd last been defenstrated there. Focus, Vorhi. Asesse the environment. Ground, heading for it. Flying things, avoiding the ground. Ah, okay. Ribbons, pretty ones. He lunged out with a long silk sash from his sleeve, using a weak force push to coil it around the base of a STAP-like object. The shift in momentum swung him forward enough to let go and repeat the process with multiple pseudo-STAP's. He flies through the air, with the greatest of ease. The crazy blind knight, with dumb tricks like these. He sticks a landing, neither too near nor far, and settles before, a leader named--

"Kaa? Hi. Follow you. Fine, got it," he said abruptly. He kept following the main group, now on the ground, deciding to ignore just how impossible all of that working was. After all, he was the force acrobat. Little was physically impossible for him. Physically painful and immensely stupid, yes. Impossible, no. He was a little winded, but hell, he could keep going. Endurance was his thing, even without the force. He had climbed the fallen mountains of Bonduki, and he wasn't about to be scared off by a little sleep deprivation and force time travel.

Satara suddenly blinked at the man that arrived at her side. He asked questions that were on everyone's mind and joining the other male who had been accusing @[member="Akala"] of the future. Whatever the reason of @[member="Antares Windu"], @[member="Doc"] seemed to be panicking more than anything. "You need to cal-" she began to say and suddenly that old sensation started. Great. She just closed her eyes, the process still not completely comfortable or better yet, the idea of being taken involuntary. Most unpleasant.

Chapter IV: The Run and Tumble

First came the cold. Thankfully, the heavy dress seemed to have dried for the most part by now, making it that much easier to move. Unfortunately, the movement she experienced was not she had made willingly, thrown and suddenly falling. Her eyes opened wide, in shock, not understanding before she hit the ground, rolling. Satara didn't even get a chance to comprehend the fall, collecting herself for barely a moment before sounds of explosions hit her. Her head snapped quickly to the sides before slowly raising her head, witnessing the war above her head. Satara didn't take time anymore, jumping to her feet, a building falling towards her.

@[member="Akala"]'s voice brought her back, made her look at her as she dropped to the roof and then the next moment jumping into a speeder. It was then that she realized the device she was flying on. Her lack of knowledge with technology couldn't make her pinpoint just what it is but she was sure she had seen similar vehicles during her time with the Jedi. Satara didn't think then, her gaze quickly scanning on incoming speeder before she ran and plunged herself through the air. Her hand grabbed clumsily at the Kwa soldier but it was his hand grabbing on to hers that kept her from falling.

"Thank you," she barely muttered before both her arms wrapped firmly around the man's soldiers, her eyes barely noticing the colors of the blasters coming through the air. Akala was there, this was not their time. Had the war the King had spoken come? She trembled abit, supported only by her hold of the soldier with nothing to put her feet on due to her height, Satara tried looking around, trying to recognize people. A bare blur ahead of her, she was sure that was the Princess. Not too far ahead, she recognized the white hair of @[member="Alexandra Cinthra"].

The city came to view as the speeders flew through the streets. Satara felt just a tad bit safer this much closer to the ground but she really was wishing for her rancor to be here now. She would have felt far safer with Nadie at her side. But such was wishful thinking. She wouldn't wish for her companion anywhere near such a place as she would not wish it for anyone of her family.

The speeder stopped not too far from the ones that had already stopped. "Thank you again," Satara told the soldier once more and let go of him, jumping to the ground. Her eyes caught the Princess running straight for the palace but @[member="Praetor Kaa"] spoke before she moved. There was no time for questions. Dathomir was under invasion by the Infinite Empire. The Witch just nodded as her fingers wrapped around the fabric of her dress, lifting the skirt just enough so she could run after him without losing any speed or balance in her movement.

She looked around as she ran, hearing others ask so many questions. "There is no time for that. We can't be in the open like this." They could ask whatever they wanted once they were in some sort of safety.

The group would walk in the palace to find Akala slunk to her knees, tears silently streaming down her face.
Lifeless bodies formed a path leading up to the throne, smoldering blaster wounds in their chests and backs still smoking. There had been a battle here recently.
The princess remained silent.
When the group would undoubtedly approach, she only nodded in the direction of the throne.
The bodies of King Oa and Queen Naala sat upright on the floor, embracing each other, their eyes closed.
Smoldering wounds erupted in smoke from their foreheads.
Akala slowly crumpled into a ball on the palace floor, pressing her forehead against the tiled duracrete.

Upon not getting an answer, Vulpesen was about to restart with his questions but stopped his tongue the moment he saw the grisly scene in side. He was speechless, and he had to focus himself, using as man jedi techniques as he could to let the anger flow out of him. He hadn't truly known these people for long, but he could see that they were good rulers and equally good people. He could feel Akala's pain move through he force. His own shock rippled through himself and in a single moment, a snap-hiss sounded from his right hand. He had read about the Rakata. He was well aware of their evil, but only now did he see it. As a jedi, he was to end evil. "Someone help the princess." He knew he had no words to consolidate her. He himself had never known either of his parents. No, the best he could do was help her. Turning on his heel, Vulpesen moved slowly at first, then dashed out of the palace, charging silently to the sound of battle, prepared to cut down any Rakata he could find. Only one sentence escaped his lips as he moved on to his new mission. "For every crying child you have caused, a shadow shall be your end."

Alexandra looked at the scene then at the girl, walking over and falling to her knees next to her, an arm on her shoulder as she sat there next to @[member="Akala"]. "I know the feeling Akala, all too well, ill be here to protect you any way i can and help you if i can before we are removed from this time period once more like the last time, i do hope my help is welcome..." She would remain next to the girl, whether responded to or not, whether wanted or not, she would remain there to protect the girl best she could. @[member="Akala"] @[member="Vulpesen"]
