OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Academy of the Lost
  • Classification: Academy, Temple, School, Enclave
  • Location: Planet Hoth
  • Affiliation: Shadow Empire
  • Accessibility: This is an isolated academy on the snowy planet of Hoth, finding this planet would be near impossible without the coordinates which is only handed to close friends, and those invited to join as students.
  • Description: The main part of the temple is built into a large mountain, its a large oval shape similar to an edge with etched in designs for flair. To the left of the main structure is the garage, built into the mount as well, and jetting out of the main piece is where many of the teachers, guards, mess hall can be found. Coming out of this extension is a landing pad and a bridge connecting to another structure across from the temple. This structure too is built into a mountain and houses everything that keeps the temple powered. Ships called Rain Makers have landed around, a total of 3, to create a massive snow storm that is impossible to venture out on foot.
POINTS OF INTEREST
When first entering the academy, one has to come from the landing pad, this is large enough to hold a small corvette of about 150-200 meters in size. From there one will find themselves entering the main hallway that will take them to the main attraction, the temple. This is achieved by taking the right of the hallway as it forks right, forward, and left.

The main temple has hundreds of rooms for student rooms, capable of holding 250 students all together. The dorms line the walls and move up from the temple stopping about half way of the structure. In the middle of this temple is a large open area called the Exile's Hub. It's connected to many hallways that all lead to student rooms, training areas, libraries, lecture halls, and meditation rooms. The training areas hold multiple marked areas for lightsaber combat and Force technique training/practicing. Benches of stone and cushion are built into the walls for people to spectate. Lecture halls are simple rooms with benches descending up with the lecturer looking up at the the listeners from short distance across the room. Each mediation room can hold up to two people, and are made with sound proof material to help keep focus, calm one's mind, and relax.

If one goes forward, they will find themselves entering the teachers rooms, there are total of 20 rooms for master ranked teachers, and are all different according to each teacher's taste in lifestyle. If one goes left, they will find the mess hall where students can eat and socialize in large groups. Also from here the barracks of the guards can be found. These are loyal force sensitive beings who have pledged to protect the academy from all threats, including teachers and students. The barracks hold 50 guards not including the 100 droid security force.

The barracks connects to the bridge that leads to the large structure across from the temple. This is the generator building, holding the generators that produce power, heat, water pressure, and so forth. The best way to cripple this academy would be to destroy this building. All of these buildings are durasteel built with a coating of Neuranium to help protect the academy.

Ships called Rain Makers have landed in a triangle formation around the mountains to produce an extremely powerful and constant snow storm around the academy.

WIthin the garage holds vehicles that can move within the snow storm, heavy duty machines and closed cockpit speeders.

The mountains themselves have two turbolasers each, also powered by the large building across from the academy. These are on low power stand by to keep scanners from picking them up so easily. There is no Force Nexus present at this academy.

SECURITY
Medium
50 Organic Guards - Standard Blaster Rifles and Light Durasteel Armor
100 Basic Battle Droids- B1s
Anti-Air Defense Turrets

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Before Romeo had left the Shadow Empire, Aedan and Romeo both agreed that a place should be built for users of the Force with no real niche to learn and train safely. This was concluded that the near by planet Hoth was the best option considering how easy it was to hide things on the snow planet. While the academy is directly linked to the Shadow Empire, it's presence has no real effect on the empire. The academy was finished just before Romeo left, who had come in contact with the First Order. Upon meeting the Knights of Ren, and thinking they similar to him and his own ideals, Romeo allowed them use the academy for training. During Romeo's leave, the First Order ravaged his homeworld, and the academy, corrupting the very nature of the temple. Upon returning from outside the galaxy, Romeo and company took back the academy from the pockets of First Order left in the system. Ren and alike were removed either by force, or compliance. With the temple taken back, and guards put back into place, Romeo and company took it upon themselves to create the Crimson Covenant, a subfaction of the Shadow Empire. The Crimson Covenant would work in similar to the old Jedi Order. A master council with a supreme master looking over them. They dictated that any aspect of the Force could be practiced here, with minor notions of Sith techniques but not doctrine. In fact, anything outside the basic Sith abilities was considered against the rules, and would be punished with severity: death or exile. The academy has no interactions with the politics of the Shadow Empire while having the protection of the empire. Any of those who wish to interact with the politics of the empire are asked to join the Paladin's Guard which is the military force sect of the empire. Upon reaching Knight or similar ranking, students become capable of taking an apprentice of their own and capable of teaching part time at the academy. While there is no official code like the Sith or Jedi, there is a code of conduct:
  • All members of the covenant are to be respected, or tolerated at best
  • Compassion and Passion go hand in hand
  • The Sith and Jedi doctrine is not to be followed or practiced this is included with any other major Force group's doctrine
  • All weapons are to be set to non lethal during training
  • Revealing the secrets of the academy to those who are not invited is a not prohibited
  • Students are allowed to come and go as they please, but transport leaves and returns at the beginning and ending of each month

The Red of Sinner The Red of Sinner Very interesting submission you've got there. It has good groundwork and I always love me Lore on Hoth, but we need to tighten it up just a tiny bit so that it can be approved!

These are edits that I absolutely need so that this can be approved;
  • In Out of Character Information, you are missing the Permissions, as per the template. Please add that in. You can write n/a by it, but the template must appear in the submission in full.
  • In Settings Information, under Description, I would recommend that you hyperlink to the Rain Makers here as well and not just in the Points of Interest, for ease of understanding when reading the submission.
  • In Points of Interest, your Rain Makers hyperlink is not working – it's linking to the old thread ID of before the board upgrade.
  • In Security, as per the template, you must list the rating and any specific security assets in list format. Please add the specific security assets.

These are suggestions. You do not have to do these, but it is highly recommended that you do.
  • Image – you've listed the Image Credit but don't actually use it in the submission. While this within itself is fine, I'm mentioning this just in case you wanted to add the image itself to the sub.
  • In Setting Information, under Affiliation, you've linked to character/writer accounts. I highly recommend that you instead link to their character sheets, since people are free to delete accounts or change their names, and once this is done this can screw your affiliations up entirely.

Once all the edits are done please tag me back so that I can re-review and approve this :)

Hello! Edits made:

Rain Makers properly hyperlinked

Security listed (I do not have any link, its all very basic stuff)

Permissions added with N/A

I just decided to remove the @mentions and keep the Shadow Empire hyperlinked to make it less complicated, I didn't want to dig for all those sheets.
