OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Abandoned HoloNet Facility, Corellia.
  • Classification: A HoloNet Station that has long since been abandoned.
  • Location: Corellia
  • Affiliation: Nobody owns the structure, though it was used as a base once by Dex Fin-Lo.
  • Accessibility: The old facility is relatively hidden. It's been long since buried by scrap and wrecked starships, as it lies under a scrapyard.
  • Description: A box-shaped building with a basic office layout. It has become fallen into disrepair over time, but much of it's equipment has remained in tact, as the scrap that buried the building insulated it from scrapper activity.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Broadcasting room: A large rectangular room where broadcasts were once given live on the HoloNet. The room is now infested with rust and vegetation. The entrance lies in the far corner of the room, a vault door which no longer works. A broken desk sits in the center, hugging the wall opposite of the exit, facing towards the doorway wall. On the other end of the room sits the broadcasting equipment, which remains in tact. Brocken lights hang from the ceiling, some still functional. Old office material is scattered across the floor.

SECURITY
None.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The abandoned HoloNet Facility was created on Corellia back in the time of the Empire before the battle of Yavin where it served as one of the many stations that flooded the HoloNet with Imperial propaganda. It was repurposed by the New Republic after the fall of the Empire and would continue to be utilized by various factions until it was abandoned in 716 ABY. The area around it would become a junkyard, with many destroyed materials and vessels being discarded around it. It would be briefly used by Dex Fin-Lo, an ex-bounty hunter turned bartender, who would use it as a base of operations during his time as a gun for hire.
