Back in the day, Dex was an up and coming bounty hunter. He would go on to make a decent name for himself, even taking hits on Sith and Jedi alike at one point. After a deal went south, Dex was left for dead by a business partner. He turned his back on his old life, settling down on his home planet of Corellia and opening up a bar, The Rattled Saber. Eventually, after fifteen years, he'd find a younger Jasper Kai'el in his bar, a young Jedi exile now living as a scrapper in the slums. Jasper took an interest in his stories, and even the craft of brewing behind a counter. Dex chose to take the boy under his wing, teaching him about the trade of bartending to the best of his abilities. He remains on Corellia.

He usually wears a brown shawl coat with orange highlights over a grey jumpsuit. His right hand is cybernetic, the remnants of an encounter he had with a Nexu in his prime as a bounty hunter.
