SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • You hear that? - This Armor was meant to accentuate the operator in use and function. Shadow Silk meshing allowing for the user to move in what feels like their own world; while being able to accurately see how much noise they themselves are creating.
  • No Fair fights - With Phrik Alloy grafted into the weak spots of the armor (and heavily integrated into the palms of the armor) it has a natural propensity for engaging lightsaber wielding opponents. Though no doubt the user of this armor will wish to end such a bout quick. The armor promotes hit and run combat, and warfare to some extent. (High Energy, Kinetic, and Very High Saber Rating)
  • In and Out - Aayla in crafting her armor made sure to use her own body weight, and natural abilities to their fullest in its crafting. Being practically unable to lose her balance due to her Astrian gifts. Able to quite literally run circles around enemies, even in close proximity without them being aware of her presence As such this armor is meant to be bumped, knocked, scraped, and dropped. Even cast out into the endless black of space in a pinch...
  • Vacuum Ready - Given the extreme instances a Shadow might experience in the field, the Armor being properly rated as an EVA suit was important; With self-sealing features, once the helmet goes on the user is perfectly safe for travel, and brief habitation of vacuum environments.
WEAKNESSES
  • Not Warfighter Equipment - It would be stretching the truth to call the Vexis Mesh a true Power Armor. It was the brain child of a budding Shadow Operative learning about the creation of such armors along the course of their career as an Intelligence Operative. While it has its uses, its technically not ready for fielding. If it it fielded, its suggested in a very low impact, controlled theater. Being focused by just a few blasters would humble this armor system quickly, and in short order.
  • Power - If it weren't for the Bias Series Portable Generator, this Armor would be nothing but a paper weight. Though realizing the obvious downside of this, the Portable Generator was added but generally left off, or in a low power mode. The armor after all being a test build to see what the students would build if offered free run of the laboratories.
  • It'll sting - While the suit has high resistances to particular sources, its not meant to thrive in them. Being less armor, and more mesh as it were. While there is resistance, it is akin to taking a slug wearing weave armor. This only gets worse as enemy stopping power increases; potentially this suit could be punctured from a single shot from a particularly devastating weapon. Or even knock the operator unconscious on impact.
DESCRIPTION
The Mark 1. Vexis is the progenitor of the Vexis series, a project undertaken by rookie (junior) members of the Silver Jedi Concord Shadows. This course being to familiarize them with systems of warfare, and subterfuge they may not have had the opportunity to engage with during their regular training as Jedi (including those that worked within SIN, that were not Jedi at all). The students were given MSDS holopads with lists of chemicals, materials, and a single Senior Engineer that would work with them whenever both parties had time. Choosing to name her armor the Vexis in recognition of the Vexis Serpent, she also played with the idea of moving even more silently than she already could.

Therefore she worked on this original model. Learning more about the small tech that went into the creation of things she used everyday, along as learning about some things she didn't know before she started building the Vexis. By the end, she had the prototype ready for showing, and had already begun sketching out the second make while having not even tested out the first. On the bright side, they were allowed to keep the suits for reference, resulting in Aayla Shan Aayla Shan having a custom fitted suit of Stealth Armor being simply left in her room to...

Interesting one!
  • Please link the Nykkalt to the materials, because it is a very rare material.
  • And the last weakness, this means only the very first use or every time when the system starts first time after the shut down? If this only a very first use, this is not really a weakness, so please add one more pvp relevant weakness to your submission.
