A quick question, how do i use the shoutbox, and why can I not insert images?

You mean instert images in chat like this ?
You need get the DIRECT link to the picture (Not a website where the pictures is on, 'http://www.planetminecraft.com/images/layout/planetminecraft_logo.png' = correct but 'http://www.planetminecraft.com/' is wrong, since its a link to the website and not the picture itself. then click on the 'Image' button (The tree thing inside a whiteish square ) and put the link there, that should do it.
