Darlyn was only too happy to hold onto Loreena, hugging her tightly in turn. Very softly, he whispered to her, "Always, Lori. Always proud." Darlyn stepped back and listened happily to her, until after she introduced Curtis. Something, nagged at him. He felt something was, off... like the air just felt... entirely wrong.

Then, Tobias Larr spoke. Eternal Empire.

He didn't even hide his gathering of the Force. If the Empire was 'concerned', that meant something was coming. And with his lightsabers on the ship, that meant he needed the Force, every spark of it he could muster. His Darkness slowly, steadily began to pulsate, gathering more of the Force's energies in preparation for... something.

For what, he didn't know. But he was going to be prepared for the absolute worst. Which meant he would need an intense ammount of darkness to fuel what was coming. Fortunately, the Empire was here, daring to interrupt his niece's special day. The ammount of anger he felt was plain on his face.

To Aoife, he whispered quickly. "I fear a storm may be approaching. Prepare for the worst."

When Bastin approached the bar ordering scotch the King turned to him with a measuring gaze. It was a casual expression for him, appraising this man who would one day be his father by law. He seemed absolutely nothing like Veiere, in fact it was possible that at a glance they held themselves as complete opposites. "I would expect a brother to Veiere Arenais to carry a bit more...light." He said before his eyes slipped to the man with a curious gaze. "You do not seem weighted by such a thing...in fact it seems you are untouched by the Force."

His words were cut when he felt a hand upon him, causing his lips to turn into a more sincere smile as he turned to Saraya. The bartender set down his drink, yet he turned to the young Lady of House Arenais intently. "Saraya. I have traveled from one side of this galaxy to the next, several times. I've passed hundreds of thousands of stars and not a single one shines as bright as your smile." He half turned to take the glass of whiskey, sipping steadily from it to take a taste of the liquor. As it flowed down his throat he could feel it's heat within his chest and found it acceptable.

"So, Lord Arenais." He said, turning back to Bastin with an intrigued expression. "Do you have a trade? Supporting the Crown, perhaps? Or something a little more independent." He thought the latter. Bastin seemed the type not to bask in any man's shadow.

However it could very well be that the King was wrong in this regard, time would tell.

Kalic sat there, looking at the simple box he had brought. Yeah, wasn't much of a gift in it, but when you were living life mostly on the run things weren't easy to just get. He was about to take it over when he noticed Darlyn. It wasn't hard to see the Force User wasn't ok with... something. A darker Force seemed to swirl around him. It was hard for the Miraluka to explain, and he'd long since stopped trying to explain it to anyone with working eyes. Or eyes at all. He would get up, walking over to Darlyn before finally speaking up, his old uniform hopefully not spooking the man.

"Hey, you ok?" All Kalic knew right now was something wasn't right, and he'd opted not to bring a gun. Granted he couldn't shoot a pistol to save is life, but it'd have been better than nothing. He'd also look at Aoife for a second. She looked like Darlyn's sibling, but now wasn't the time for questions.

Darlyn Excron Darlyn Excron understood Lori's goofiness moreso than most. And he appreciated it. At times he encouraged it too, which was far better than him trying to change her. And she loved him for it! She was glad that Aoife Jones Aoife Jones returned her hug as well, but found it a bit weird that she was curtsied to. No one had ever done that to her before.

The words of Admiral Tobias Larr caught her attention before she saw him. At the mention of Eternal Empire she stiffened, taking the envelope in her hand. Her jaw dropped slightly while she stared at his back as he walked away. Giving Curtis Learchin Curtis Learchin a glance, she opened the envelope and took out the letter that was inside.

It was while she was reading it quietly to herself that Kalic Daws Kalic Daws appeared, and immediately afterwards she held the letter out to Darlyn. "The Empire's here...we have to leave. Now..." Lori didn't think that Mnemosyne would be within reach of the Empire. She thought it would be safe! By the Force she was too naive! And now she risked everyone's safety.

But how to get everyone out? Lori quickly moved to the central portion of the hub where the stairs were. The hub was on the ground and the doors were open. Good!

So she pulled the fire alarm....

Curtis read the letter over Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun ' shoulder, and his hand instinctively darted to his belt where his lightsaber would've been if he hadn't left it in his room. He hadn't planned for this, and he cursed himself under his breath as his wife pulled the fire alarm.

"We need to get everyone out now" He stated, moving further into the room. "Can I please have everyone's attention! We need to evacuate the building right now, please make your way to the nearest exit!" His voice carried throughout the room despite the blaring sirens. The second he could be back at Lori's side, he would be. She was no doubt the target of whatever was going to happen.

Aoife did not know much of the Eternal Empire, but she saw the way her brother and the happy couple tensed up at the Admiral's words. The groom even reached for a weapon he did not have... And her brothers words sent a chill down her spine. He was planning something, if his gathering of the Dark was anything to go by. Something big, in order to protect his niece.

Everyone needed to get underground. Now.

Rushing over to Loreena after the alarms began to blare, Aoife placed a hand on the unlucky bride's shoulder, and spoke loud enough to be heard over the alarms.

"Is there an underground tunnel system under the park? Because we need to get everyone underground if my brother is trying to do what I think he's trying to do. If need be I'll also be sending out a distress signal to Commenor."

Caedyn's own had raised to take Rowena Arenais' by the wrist, "I'm not some model to be studied, I'd appreciate the personal space" he said with a fair bit more authority in his voice, not at all enjoying how she was choosing to manhandle him. Rowena may have felt there no need for formalities or manners yet this was their first meeting and Caedyn didn't appreciate at all how she had approached him, interrupting his conversation with his Girlfriend.

Bastin Arenais, however, was a name that Caedyn had heard of, through his Father's data repository, otherwise known as his Holocron. "Him, I have heard of..." His voice flattened some, eyes locking upon their estranged Uncle and not at all liking the timing nor the sudden emergence without so much as a heads up or warning. Neither of them had been at their Parents 'farewells', send-offs or funerals. Whatever you wanted to call it.

"Can I please have everyone's attention!
We need to evacuate the building right now, please make your way to the nearest exit!"

Caedyn's attention was quickly removed of Bastin and Rowena at the sound of the announcement, the hairs on his neck immediately standing up as he realized something felt wrong. As if the announcement hadn't been enough to confirm it, the Force flowed to him at will and he drew upon its power to heighten his senses. Presently there were only a few people in the room that he prioritized, yet any form of danger regardless of his personal connections needed to be taken with the utmost regard.

His left hand sought that of Asaraa Vaashe Asaraa Vaashe 's, while his right drew to the side of his belt where he kept his Lightsaber in close proximity, a quick draw if the need arose. "So much for the drinks...-That proposal will have to wait" he flashed his girlfriend a slight grin, trying to be a little cheeky despite the sudden tension that had come over the room.

Subject 73 Red Subject 73 Red saw Admiral Tobias Larr exiting the Wheel, and he frowned. That wasn't good, he most likely knew what was about to go down. Then, as if on a schedule, the sirens went off, and everyone began running to evacuate. Red scowled. Damn it! So, the Admiral had leaked to Loreena. Whatever, that would be dealt with later. Right now, Red had to act.

He shouted. "Loreena!" He yelled at her, calling her attention. Then, he pulled something out of his pocket. A small, metallic device. Loreena would be able to recognize it, it was a thermal detonator. Red activated it. "Catch!" He yelled. Then, he threw the grenade at her, and he ran in the opposite direction. The grenade soared towards her...

But it didn't explode. It fell to the ground, harmlessly. Written on the grenade, in small handwriting, were the words, "Congratulations on your marriage."

The grenade still didn't go off. In fact, Red hadn't even activated the timer. Sure, it was a pretty bad gift for a wedding, but it was the best that Red could provide under the circumstances. Besides, with what was going to happen, it might even be useful.

Red ran to a small employee station. The employees had filed out, heading to evacuate. Red opened one of the lockers, and inside was his armor and his weapons.

Red grabbed his armor, and began changing into it, getting ready for the battle ahead.

~~~
QEMD-15 Echo QEMD-15 Echo tilted his head upon hearing the sirens. This was a tad bit early, but the attack would occur none the less. Echo messaged all the units awaiting the attack.
Begin Phase 2. Begin the Attack.
Then, Echo began walking forward, towards the theme park. From his loudspeakers, he blared, above the sound of the sirens, "Loreena Arenais, wanted for illegal terrorism and conspiracy, you are to come forward immediately, or face the consequences. We have you surrounded, this is your final warning."
The message echoed across the amusement park. Then, the message played, again, and again, and again, each seemingly coming from different areas around the park. Everyone heard the message, but Echo doubted that Loreena would turn herself in.
Then, Echo emerged from the tree-line. Now, he was visible, and Loreena would know that this would be just like that time on Orellon II, when Echo had first captured her. He had subjected her and the people around her to horror, to pure agony.
And it would happen again.
Suddenly, another droid like Echo broke from the tree-line, on the opposite side of the park. Then another, and another. Suddenly, each of the large droids began blaring their own sirens from their loudspeakers, these sirens even louder than the ones already happening in the park. They stood at the edges of the park, awaiting for the next move.
~~~
Begin Phase 2. Begin the Attack.

When TE-236 TE-236 received that message after he heard the sirens, he knew that it was time. He turned to the crew of soldiers manning the mortars that he had ordered set up. The armor of the soldiers was painted camouflage, so that they could blend into the forest better. He looked at them. "Select your targets. Aim at the exact coordinates that I have instructed you to aim at." He ordered them. The soldiers on the multiple mortars nodded and began calculating their aiming trajectories. "The wind is blowing westward, at 2 miles per hour, be sure to adjust for wind direction, wind speed, the force of your mortar, and the weight of your payload." He told them. He was a tactical droid, after all. He was very skilled and calculations and algorithms.

"Mortars are aimed and calculated, sir!" Yelled a corporal.

"Load your mortars and fire!" Gin ordered.

The soldiers loaded their mortars and fired them. The rounds arced up above the trees, and dropped down onto the park. All across the park, high-explosive mortar rounds crashed into the park. Explosions rocked the ground as rides, attractions, pathways, and buildings all got blown to pieces. Then, the mortar team reloaded, and fired again. More explosions rocked all across the park. Screams of those in the park could be heard.

"Mortar Team 1, continue shelling. Mortar Team 2, fire incendiaries!" He ordered.

"Yes sir!"

The secondary mortar team loaded their mortars, and fired the incendiary rounds off. The incendiary rounds, paired with the high-explosive rounds, crashed into the park. Flames burst out, spreading quickly, and blocking off pathways, and setting fire to buildings, and more explosions rocked the park. A high-explosive round crashed into the Orbital Wheel, blowing a large piece of the attraction off.

"Mortar Team 1, Mortar Team 2, hold fire." Gin told them. They stopped firing, but they did load rounds into their mortars. "Mortar Team 3, fire smokescreen!"

"Acknowledged!"

More rounds fired off from Mortar Team 3. Instead of crashing into the ground, these rounds exploded in mid-air, smoke billowing out and settling over the ground, reducing visibility. At least for the Rebels. For Gin's troops, their visors had thermal vision, which allowed them to see through the smoke.

TE-236 activated his commlink, contacting all of his forces. "45th Mechanized Infantry 'X' Battalion, begin the assault!"

"Yes sir!"

"Acknowledged, Lieutenant Colonel."

"Roger, moving out!

"Beginning attack!"

"Move to your sectors, trap the Rebels!" Gin told them.

The Battalion of about 760 soldiers began moving forward towards the amusement park from all sides. Each Company and Platoon had a wide variety of troopers, from assault troopers, to snipers, to flame troopers, to heavy gunners. 4 light tanks and 2 main battle tanks also began their approach. They were prepared for almost every situation. They all had that same camouflage armor. The troopers shouted to each other, shouting orders and where to move. Soon, they would be inside the park.

And time would soon run out for Loreena.

Lori hated the bad feelings in the pit of her stomach. This was all her fault. She just had to come to Mnemosyne, believing that it would be safe, and that she would be safe from the Eternal Empire. But she was wrong....No doubt the events on Cerea were now catching up with her.

Curtis Learchin Curtis Learchin soon made his announcement, telling everyone to exit while they could, which was a very good idea. Aoife Jones Aoife Jones tore Lori from her thoughts and utter shock and asked about tunnels. Blast! Why didn't she think of them when she had the park built?? The answer was obvious. She never dreamed that it would be under attack. Her gaze went to her brother Caedyn Arenais briefly, seeing that he was getting ready to fight, before returning to her Aunt. "There's only the sewers. It's better than nothing. Come on!"

She picked up a panicked PG-1 PG-1 into her arms and started to lead them outside, only to see Subject 73 Red Subject 73 Red shout out her name and throw something at her. Lori's breath held as she saw what it was, a detonator. However it didn't appear to be armed. She picked it up in her free hand and read the message, finishing it just as QEMD-15 Echo QEMD-15 Echo made his presence known. His announcements calling her out gave her horrible flashbacks of Orellion II. There he had destroyed all of the ships and everyone around her before taking her into custody. He had even nearly destroyed Arla. It was odd at what terms were used; illegal terrorism. It made her wonder if there was a legal kind?

Speaking of Arla, Lori's bodyguard hurried over to her, with bow and quiver in hand. "Captain! You need to get out of here! I'm going to stall them before air support arrives! Now go!" Shouldering the quiver, Arla took out one of the explosive arrows, knocked it on the bow and pulled the string, aiming it at the Echo-like droid nearest to them in the distance and letting it loose. No doubt the aim would fall short, but at least it'd explode and cause a shockwave.

Lori took Aoife, Curtis, PG-1 and whomever else would follow her and lead them to the closest manhole cover. Oh her poor dress! It was going to be ruined! But better that than be killed. Forcing out a breath, Lori climbed down into the sewers. At least the park was new, so it wasn't too bad. But still....she somehow always ended up running away from the Eternal Empire in the sewers.

The young Jedi's eyes fell, glaring at her dress, as if it were to blame for her current predicament. Sure, it looked pretty, and she liked the way the fabric flowed around her legs as she walked but there really wasn't any place for her to conceal a lightsaber, or a sword. Mildly amused eyes reached up to capture Caedyn's for a moment, a wry smile playing around her lips.

"I guess it might have to and all, but next time we come to a party, remind me to slip my lightsaber into your pocket. Or find a place to hide it."

The Jedi Master took a small step forward towards the door before turning around to face Caedyn, lips curling up into an amused smile, those blue orbs twinkling at him in amusement.

"We're definitely eloping."

The tender moment, those few seconds of connection were all they could manage as the attack began...an attack at a wedding. It was like something out of a holodrama. The focus of the attack seemed to be Loreena, for something she'd done, some grudge that someone held against her. Asaraa didn't know much about Caedyn's sister, they hadn't really met that much but the Jedi knew her boyfriend, knew how his mind worked. Her hand squeezed around his, tugging him in the direction of the manhole cover as her eyes glanced around for any kind of weapon she could find. A gesture of her hand sent a table leg spinning through the air towards her, one hand reaching up to snatch it out of the air. Ok, so it wasn't much, and she'd just torn apart one of the ornate tables to get it, but given the fact they were being shelled, she really didn't think that anyone would really care all that much about it.

If they did they could always send her the bill later.

Weapon successfully claimed the pink-haired one brandished it in the direction of the rest of the wedding party, offering Rowena an encouraging smile as she did so.

"Come on, we need to get your aunt to safety, and see if we can help get your sister out of here."

She knew that he'd want to do everything he could to protect his family, and in the confines of a sewer the two Jedi would have a much easier time of discouraging any pursuit than they would in an open space like this.

In the heat of the moment, all Curtis wanted to do was fight. He could see Caedyn Arenais removing his weapon, as well as strange looking droids emerging from the treeline. Sparks of lightning jolted out of his fingertips as he tried to relax himself. Now was not the time for battle, now was the time to protect his wife.

Curtis followed close behind Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun , his eyes darting constantly at their surroundings. They really couldn't catch a break, even on a day as special as this one. Entering the sewers, he grimaced at the thought of what he was actually walking through.

"How come we can't just have a normal wedding?" He asked jokingly, looking down the long dark tunnel that lay before them, "If we run into anything down here, let me take care of it, just get to safety". He placed a firm hand on Lori's shoulder, knowing that she was probably feeling the same way as him at this moment. This was the last straw. After today, he would cut off the head of the snake.

Kalic looked at Lori, letting out an “Echuta” under his breath before looking at his astromech. “Jee. Starcrest. Now! My particle cannon’s in there and you can give cover fire.” He looked outside, seeing bodies moving as the Q8 astromech ran for the landing area. He took a step back before feeling the shakes of mortars hitting the ground, until he noticed a familiar sound and a hint of haze. He looked at Aoife, Lori, and Curtis, as well as the others.

“Phosphorus shells. They’re smoking the field. I can still see in it, but that’s not going to help things. We need to go.” Then the sirens blared. New sirens. And massive droids seemed to move. He looked at the other, walking back before looking around.

“Anyone have a rifle?”

Jee meanwhile quickly flew towards the landing area, finding Kalic’s ship before lowering into her slot and beginning the start up, notably getting the shields up first.

As everyone began moving around him, Darlyn began to reach out further and further. The shelling, the panic, the intent to kill, he could feel it all. He knew what he had to do, to try and minimize the civilian casualties. He had to get rid of the soldiers, all of them, and let the civilians seek shelter.

He drew the fear, the pain, the readiness to kill into himself. Focusing on that dark ripple in the Force that these produced, he focused it inwards through his hatred of these people. For daring to interrupt this happy day, for their careless disregard for any meaningful rules of engagement. For hurting innocent civilians.

Hurting his family.

It won't be as big as last time. I won't need to exert as much energy, need quite as much to draw on. This will be enough. He reached the area just outside the orbital wheel, and kneeled down. Active meditation was useful but this needed focus.

Far up above them all, starting from Darlyn's position, storm clouds began forming.... spreading. An omen of what was to come if no ome were to stop him. A reckoning for these... terrorists of an Empire.

"How very...astute of you to notice." Bastin had a taste of his scotch, doing what he could to remain on his 'best' behaviour. He was the very opposite of his brother, but not in a light or dark kind of way. There was more to life than the Force, afterall.

He turned his head away from Adron Malvern Adron Malvern as he flattered Saraya Arenais Saraya Arenais with cheesey lines that he had heard many atimes by drunken men in cantinas. No doubt his daughter would fall for it, given her youth and inexperience. She still looked as though she was in her mid teens, and at times Bastin found it difficult to see her as anything else but a teenager. Rowena Arenais had sheltered her well.

"I'm a jack of all trades, dabbling in whatever suits me at any given moment." And he enjoyed the freedom of it. Going wherever he pleased and taking out his aggression on those that he wanted to. All were deserving, of course.

Their conversation was cut short as the alarms rang out. Oh now this was much better. Action! By far the best wedding that he had ever been to. Just don't tell his wife. However he couldn't hide his grin as he finished his scotch and got to his feet. "Get the ladies safe. I've got some faces that need a meeting with my fists." He put his thumb and forefinger in his mouth and blew a loud whistle that he knew Rowena would hear. Catching her eye, he pointed his thumb towards Adron and then with a nod, he hurried out of the hub and out into the park that was currently being shelled.

The man let his hand wrap around his glass just as a loud boom exploded out in the distance. The King paused for a moment, his eyes washing over the soft quake that flowed through his drink. Incoming. He sighed just a moment before the alarms began blaring out. The man listened to Bastin as he enthused over the apparent battle to come. The King did not share his enthusiasm. He was on a foreign world far removed from the luxuries of his Royal Army, not to mention he had been crafting a connection to Saraya. He would protect her. He would get injured for her. A distraction in a theatre of combat.
He nodded at Bastin before turning to Saraya and bringing a hand over her shoulder. "We're leaving." He told her before looking to Rowena Arenais as she approached the two. "You're both coming with me to Illyria. I can protect you there. Let us leave, now." The man raised the flap of his blazer to pull the beautiful golden and amethyst lightsaber. He did not know who this enemy was, however if they were bold enough to target the Mnemosyne royal family then perhaps they were bold enough to attempt and assassinate it's line of rulers. A line that Saraya fell within. His hand fell to hers, looking to the two before leading them out of the wheel.
When they stepped outside, Adron heard a voice cry out.
"Mortars!"
His eyes rose to the skies and suddenly.
Frozen.
His lightsaber dropped to the ground below him as sweat trickled down his temple. Both of his hands were up and his eyes were clenched closed. In the air above the park several of the mortars were suspended in the air above the park. The Force kept them in stasis as Adron exhaled from the weight of the immediate exertion. Finally the Sith Lord's eyes came open, shining vibrantly in their amethyst hue.
Then suddenly...
The mortars' exploded into a cloud of fire and smoke above the park, freeing the man from the tethers of the Force. He exhaled, taking a deep breath before looking back to his fiancée and her mother. "Let's go." He recovered his lightsaber before moving forward, however in the next moment the park began to fill with smoke and dust, causing the Sith Lord to exhale. His lightsaber came alive with a snap-hiss, cutting through the smoke and dust while he kept his eyes fastened.
He could not see them but he could sense them.
Dead men walking.

Lori gave a little grin as Curtis Learchin Curtis Learchin joked with her about them not having a normal wedding. When she was involved, hardly anything was normal. She had her wedding in a theme park of all places. How was that normal? Especially for a Queen? It was the furthest from a Royal wedding that anyone could get.

And now here she was, running away from Subject 73 Red Subject 73 Red , QEMD-15 Echo QEMD-15 Echo and a slew of others in the sewers. She placed her hand on top of Curtis' and gave it a bit of a squeeze, letting him know that she understood. But right now she didn't know if anywhere was safe in the Galaxy for her. This attack on their wedding in Silver territory was evidence of that.

The sounds of the attack above ground was muffled, but it was still evident. At times the ground shook. Lori focused on the Force and created a ball of Light as she pushed the air particles ahead of her into super fast speeds. Their was little light for them otherwise and they needed to see. "I don't really know where we are going. I don't know if we're blockaded or not..." Surely at least herself or Caedyn Arenais would of been told if Mnemosyne found itself under a blockade by Imperial forces.

Gin watched the advance through macrobinoculars, watching the soldiers advance. It truly was a sight to behold. Some might call it overkill, but Gin called it strategic thinking. He knew that Loreena had powerful and strong friends and family members, so having overwhelming force on them would be very useful. They would be so overwhelmed and outnumbered that they would be helpless in direct confrontation. This was probably the closest Gin would come to feeling glee, since he wasn't programmed to feel, only fight.

The soldiers advanced through the smoke that had been laid down by the mortars, closing in on all sides, moving in to take down Loreena. Oh, how good this felt. Despite not being programmed to feel, there was something deep in his code that made him feel joy and glee at proving his tactical superiority, and for causing the suffering of others. Hmm, strange, it must be that old Confederacy programming from centuries ago. Strange, he was sure that he upgraded and improved every bit of the programming, and he hadn't seen any string of code that would make him feel that way. No matter, all he could do was focus on the present.

Troopers equipped with jetpacks activated them, taking off, and flying over the smoke, using the thermal view on their visors to locate Loreena and her party. Then, suddenly, Gin received a transmission over his commlink from one of his soldiers. Gin put his macrobinoculars down, and brought his hand to his head, responding to the communication.

"Report." Gin said, picking up the transmission.

"Sir, thermal view shows some members of the party climbing into manhole covers. They're heading into the sewers to escape. Others are remaining behind to try and stall our offensive." The soldier reported.

Gin clasped his metal hands together. "As I calculated. Loreena and her fellow Rebels are desperate, and are attempting to run away. Even Loreena understands that she is outmatched and outgunned, and their only chance is to escape. She may be naive, but she is clever and resourceful." Gin said. His mission might be to bring Loreena down, but he still respected his opponent. If he could feel pity for her, he would. Alas, Gin was not programmed with the notion of pity.

"Captain, order your troops to activate their respirators, and to seal their armor." Gin ordered.

"Yes sir, right away."

Then, Gin contacted QEMD-15 Echo QEMD-15 Echo . "QEMD-15, can you continue scanning and tracking Loreena in the sewers?" He asked over the commlink.

"Affirmative, my scanners allow me to track her wherever she goes." Echo said, his voice constantly changing, since he wasn't programmed with a voice and had to use other people's voices.

"Excellent, continue to monitor her and her party, we don't want them to escape." Gin told the massive droid.

Gin turned to his mortar teams. "Load the dioxis shells, prepare to fire. Aim your mortars at Sector 4-3, Quadrant 2-A, heading 3.14. Wind speed has picked up to 3 miles per hour. Wind direction is still westward, heading 7.36." Gin told them, giving the crews specific calculations.

The crews started hurrying, aiming and calculating their fire trajectory. Then, once they finished, Gin quickly inspected the mortars, making sure they were all calculated correctly. For this next part to work, the mortars would need to be spot-on target.

Once he was satisfied that the mortars were correctly aligned, Gin stepped back. "Let's force them all underground. Load the dioxis shells, and fire!" He ordered.

The mortar teams loaded in the shells, and fired.

The shells arced over the park, heading for the man cover that Loreena had been crawling into, that was surrounded by other members of her party. Instead of hitting the ground, like the smoke shells, the gas shells exploded before they hit the ground, exploding in mid air. The dioxis spread out, spreading out and drifting towards the ground. The poisonous gas would either force the rest of the members of the party underground, or they would breathe in the gas and die a slow and horrible death. It was their choice really.

"E Company, D Company, enter the nearest sewer cover, and track down Loreena Arenais with the help of the Quarantine Enforcers currently tracking her."

"Yes sir!"

"A Company, B Company, C Company, continue your push on the rest of the party, see if you can force them underground."

"Acknowledged."

"Copy."

"Affirmative."

Gin continued to watch as his forces continued to push forward, in hot pursuit of Loreena. He was certain that Loreena was running out of options.

But unlike his other tactical droid counterparts, Gin would not underestimate his opponent. She had survived for this long after all, she must have some tricks up her sleeve.

POV: Subject 73 Red Subject 73 Red
Red had just finished putting on his armor when he heard the communication that dioxis was being deployed. He quickly put on his helmet, sealed his armor, and activated the respirator built into his helmet. He grabbed his weapons, strapping them himself. Finally, he grabbed his TL-50 Heavy Repeater, and ran outside.

He looked around, examining the carnage. Some of the soldiers ran past him, along with a light, fast moving tank. One of the troopers stopped and turned to him.

"Sir, Loreena Arenais has just entered the sewers. Our orders are to push the rest of the members of her party into the sewers, and follow Loreena down into the sewer, and hunt her down." The soldier told him.

Red nodded. "Copy that, once we get them into the sewers, the easier it will be."

The soldier ran off after the others, and Red followed after him.

Once the soldiers were in the sewers, there wouldn't be much that Red could do to help Loreena. Though, he would try to help her escape however he could. If he didn't, Pitt would have his behind, since the little droid liked her quite a lot. And the last thing Red wanted to do was anger the little pit droid. They are quite ferocious and vicious when angry.

Darlyn's eyes were still held shut, through the shelling, the coming tide of death. He kept his center focused, knowing a moment's hesitation would consume him and everyone else, something he could not allow. Yet as the shells containing the dioxis gas were loaded and released at the park, Darlyn's concentrated expression gave way to a smile. He was ready.

When he opened his eyes, the clear blue now mixed with noticable yellow swirls, the storm forming above him flared to life in an instant. The winds would suddenly pick up from a light breeze into tempestuous winds, as the dark energies Darlyn had summoned crackled and split the air around him. Forming in unstable patterns, the wrathful bolts lashed out at random to try and seek anything in reach to deliver destruction.

As Darlyn stood, loose debris began to be picked up in the whirlwind he'd started, tossed around by the powerful wind. In the distance, beyond the growing howl of wind, Darlyn could hear armored footsteps. Good, good. This storm had only begun, and as such the most intense energies were still centered around himself, yet to fully exand outwards. But killing a few of these warmongers would be enough to start the snowballing, surely.

So without more delay, he turned on his heels and made his approach to the men. Lightning crackling from both the air, and his fingertips, in anticipation.
