A small request.

Dressed in my Jedi robes, along with the twin lightsabers on my belt, I moved down the hall in a slow saunter. I had to speak to the council. it was inevitable that this information would come out. And with the recent incidents that had taken place with the one and only, [member="Maya Whitelight"], This had to come out now and be solved, or the whole Silver Jedi order could fall. I knew that she would not like this idea, but it had to come out. Not just for her own sake, but for her son's sake.

A while back we had a lightsaber training session where we ended up sharing thoughts, and most of them were hers, about her time in a tribe, as well as having to deal with her son being taken away. And the one who took her child was a sith. And from rumors, she had been working with him, and this needed to be solved before she was thrown out, or she was corrupted. As a Jedi, I would fight with her, but as a secret lover of hers, I had to fight for her.

Walking within the walks of the Jedi Temple on Voss, I waked up to the main doors, and spoke to the guards there. Dressed to have no visible sign of who they were, I nodded to them, knowing that letting me in would grant me company of the Jedi Council. I did not wait for their response. Walking in, I knew I could be thrown out, but I had to speak.

"Before I am thrown out, what I have to say could reveal our location of the Jedi Council to all around us. Hear me and we can solve this potential problem with a Comrade of mine."

She was within her seat just like the others at the time, for the moment she was reflecting on the words of another. Her eyes were closed, and her head tilted just a bit, there was a disturbance she had felt, something wasn't quite right, there was a uneasy feeling in her stomach, she opened her eyes only to see someone crashing through the doors of the Council chambers. Her expression was one of surprise, but it was subtle. So this is what the force was trying to hint her too. From a closer look she could see that it was indeed [member="Xander Carrick"] and he immediately began to express himself and his thought. They all came pouring out.

Reveal the location of the Council? Hmm, something serious had to have happened in order for an event such as this to happen. She wondered for a moment. Her hand came up and her index finger sat upon the edge of her chin, with its tip curled.

"What is the meaning of this Xander? What is this information you have?"

Eerie silence swept over the Council chambers, as the words of the final speaker hit home. The Jedi Masters all remained seated, leaving Rasu to only search her fellow Councillors faces as she tried to determine where their discussion was heading. However her attention was caught by a growing disturbance outside the chamber, and it seemed that her fellow Master's were also aware of the disruption. All eyes were on the large entryway as the solid doors were thrown open and a human figure burst into the chamber, his face looking obviously flustered.

The Shi'ido recognised the man as [member="Xander Carrick"], a well-known Knight of the Order and one whom Rasu had met upon his arrival to Voss. The Jedi Master searched his face, trying to determine any clue to Xander's obvious discomfort, but was left with nothing, unable to read anything off his thoughts or features. In truth Rasu had been unreachable as of late, having locked herself away within her room, using the time to reflect on the events that had unfolded since their journey to Voss.. She had needed the time to center herself, and as a consequence had been left in the dark of many recent happenings that had occurred during her isolation. She was aware that Xander's troubles may appear to be common knowledge among the members of the Council, but she was unsure, choosing to allow the Jedi Knight to answer Sochi's question, before speaking up herself.

Aika Kawakami

Can one find true light when shadowed in darkness?
"You feel that? Something isn't right.."

"Indeed. There's an echo through the Force. Though, where it is coming from, is a mystery of its own.."

With the chambers Aika stood, back against a wall and her head hanging. Her eyes were closed and arms crossed over her chest as she reached out through the Force, searching for what was causing the uneasy feeling. Even without opening her eyes, it was more than obvious that the others felt it as well. But the fact that she could not find its origin was the most disturbing part. Where was it coming from? And what was creating it? Questions that needed answers quickly.

Her concentration was broken as the doors opened, a voice blasting into the room. Her eyes opened and head lifted, only to gain sight of Xander, a known member of the Silver Jedi Order. The moment he burst in, Aika was ready to have him removed from the room, and the planet, if need be. However, her interest piqued as he spoke of the potential of the the council's location being revealed. Something about what he said caused her mind to wander a bit. Obviously, someone was following some sort of lead. The type that could put their new Order, and the entire planet, at risk. Even then, that wasn't what made her restrain herself. There was a lead being followed. And she would ensure that it was sniped out..permanently.

"Hope that your words make up for this rude scene, less you find yourself in a more precarious position. Now, speak your mind, and tell us what it is you have found. And pray that it is worth our time.."

"My, my.. Someone has a bit of an edge today.."

She knew this day would come. The Silver Jedi have lived in peace and solitude for some time now and Iella had hoped this would continue for some time more, however now the potential of their location being revealed is real and now stands before them all. Although some precautions had been placed to insure warnings of incoming uninvited visitors, their resources are thin and there are 'gaps', but with time they would be in a position to secure Voss further.

The words from the other members of Council fell on her ears however, she listened not, but instead just looked into the eyes of Xander. A Knight that services the Silver Jedi without question and loyalty and one Iella trusts greatly. Iella rose from her seat at the round council table and walked toward Xander.

"Knight Carrick, I sense you are very much disturbed and the need is great, please come and sit at the council table and calm... then explain what has happened", she sent Xander a subtle wave of calm through the force, Find peace through the force Xander .. remove the emotion and let us find clarity, her words sent to him telepathically.

I already knew that words of throwing me out would be said. And the room was filled with confusion, and in a small felling of wonder of the words that I spoke. it was so strong that even I could feel it with my weaker force sensitivity. Master Ru spoke Asking of information that I had, while Master Gan sat silent, Master Kawakami threatened to throw me out if I did not speak, while Master E'ron wanted me to sit down. With a forced smile I shook my head. "Master, I am too riled up to simply sit down at this moment, I hope that you can understand."

I took a deep breath to try and not force my words out at a very fast pace. Speaking to all at once now. "When I had first started training a Student of mine, I had to teach about the Center of Being. or the being calm within the storm. From that the topic changed to past instances of where the student felt as though she had wronged someone, and she wanted to clear it up so that she could be the best possible at the form. What ensued was my vision of this student's child taken by a Sith. At first, I found no troubles with this vision with her. This could have been solved simply by finishing her training, then the next time the two would meet, she could take her child back."

My heart pounded so fast it would burst out of my chest. Telling this story of how Maya's life had come to become probably the most strongest problem we would have to deal with at this time. "When we were requested to aid the Jedi on Courscant, This student had aided both sides in healing their troops. At first sight, it was just the healing instinct to save everyone she could. However, after a confrontation with a Sith that was aiding her, I had come to find that the Sith was keeping her to himself for a secondary motive. Through revisiting the visions and the incidents, I have come to the conclusion that the sith I encountered was the same that took this student's child. The two made some deal that the sith would return her child for the location of the Silver Jedi. Each time she refused from her memories, but she is near her breaking point."

I stopped myself and took another breath. I didn't want to do this. Expose her out in the open like this. But for the good of all the Jedi here, I voiced it all out, "This student, [member="Maya Whitelight"], has made a forced pact with a Sith for the Safety of her child. And to solve this I believe that we need to enact a rescue mission to retrieve this child to reduce the situation to nothing more than threats that can not be carried out."

Her eyes squinted as she began to ponder the words of [member="Xander Carrick"] . She sat back in her seat and closed her eyes, it was rare that she didn't have impressions of this before hand. Usually her Farsight abilities gave her insight enough into certain situations which she could forward to the council, but the future was always in motion and subject to change, it was possible that this was one of many possible futures she saw before, but has now changed, and become twisted. She looked up slowly, to the other members within the room. This was a difficult situation...the love you have for another...could definitely be used against you. [member="Maya Whitelight"] was a student of hers, one she cared for deeply. She didn't want to just jump at the notion of launching a rescue mission if they hadn't the resources to do so yet.

"Surely this is a difficult situation. We all have some type of relationship with Maya, how is she to feel if she can't request the help of her own brothers and sisters? Though the matter of this could lead to greater issues for the Order as a whole, even more lives will be put at risk."

[member="Iella E'ron"] | [member="Aika Kawakami"] | [member="Rasu Gan"]

Leori was participating via holo when they seemed to be interrupted. All she could do for the time being was listen. The situation was not a promising one. In any case, there wasn't a particularly positive outcome possible. She did not look forward to the decision process that was bound to occur with a situation such as this one. The Jedi Master needed all the information she could gather, since she knew the student only from the words of others. Leori was busy constantly with her new position. Now she knew how her old friend Rianna felt in the past with this much responsibility on her shoulders as well as Family obligations. Leori could handle it, but it left little time for her to socialize with the other Jedi.

I nodded to the Jedi Master as she made it apparent that by doing this that we would be putting ourselves out there. I shook my head. letting it drop down to my chest. Oh it was so hard right now not to tell them that I promised her that I would rescue her son from the Sith. Or the fact that the two of us were... romantically involved. it was apparent that I was trying to control myself. Another breath was taken in.

"Then masters, I ask one question for you to consider before answering." Looking up at all of them in turn, "If your child was on the line, in the hands of an enemy since time immemorial, and had the potential to expose a small group of your closest friends that you would call on as brothers and sisters, Would you not risk your own life to save them?" As much as I should have been done speaking, I did not end.

"I have trained Maya, and helped her when she needed it, because she knew, and I knew, that I could be called on. Everybody has been touched in some way by Mayas heart." I walked closer to each one of them looking them in the eyes. Wanting to see if truly they understood what I was speaking. "Now, all of us left the Jedi Order because the Council they had were too much about politics, and the better of the many than the few." I came to stand smack in front of [member="Sochi Ru"], Staring at her as though I was taking to a God. "by Refusing in helping someone that everybody cares for, you are no better than they are." I walked backwards but keeping my eyes on the Jedi master.

Moving to be about the center of the room. "How should you be any better if you do not care for the few who can't come to you. I thought I had left that all behind with the Jedi Order and the Republic. I came here not to request for a rescue mission, my dear masters." There was a cold truth in my heart and in my words as I spoke. Nothing would stop me now. "I came to ask for a party to help me with your blessings as a council, and should I not earn it after supporting you in battles, fighting for the beliefs of the Silver Jedi as a whole,"

I adjusted my tunic as though I was simply talking. and standing up straight as the statues that stood on the steps of the Jedi Temple. There was no lie in my voice as I would speak. nothing to hint at anything that would sway me from my decision. "Then do not expect to see me here again."

Rasu watched as every eye turned from speaker to speaker, finally coming to rest on Xander as he spoke his last piece. It was obvious that he was letting his emotions get the better of him, but honestly it did not bother the Shi'ido in the slightest, having experienced something similar with the abduction of her Padawan those many months ago. It was hard to regain control, and even more difficult when being told to let go. If anything Rasu felt her heart wrench for the human before her, knowing that the easiest solution would be to just conduct a rescue operation and bring the woman home, however to do so with Xander in such a state would not do so well for him both on the mission as well as for the future in the Order. Xander continued to speak, attempting to guilt or perhaps oddly persuade the Councillors to empathise with the man before making their final decision. However as he approached Sochi, looking down on her as she sat in her chair, it was then that Rasu intervened.

"Xander, no one has said that we are abandoning Maya, or anyone else within the Order so please show the respect that is due of Master Ru." she said, standing from her seat and approaching the young man. Placing a hand on his shoulder she turned his attention on her and away from the Togruta Councillor. "What we must consider is whether she has in fact turned to the dark side. The Council is concerned that if we do send a rescue team, what will they face? How would you feel having gone through all this effort to rescue her only to find her becoming one of your enemies? What would you do then Xander?" she said, allowing a moment for the idea to sink into his head. "This is what we are concerned about. Of course we want to bring Maya home, but we must also begin contemplating the repercussions of her own decision."

[member="Xander Carrick"]

I smiled as the master attempted to say that they were not letting her go. Saying that there's a chance that she has turned to the dark side of the force. I knew that all too well. I have seen friends fall to the darkside when I have not. I knew how to use the force as a tool to keep myself in check. To prevent any falling to the dark side. Even the little training that I had with the Imperial Knights, I still retained enough to combat the force much more easily than others around me. She continued to speak of how if she fell, what she would have to face.

I already knew that she had. In my heart I knew that she was so close. I closed my eyes as she finished speaking. Wishing that all of this was not happening. I should have hauled her away from the sith at the Invasion of Courscant. Teach her what I knew about how to keep myself stable in the force. So many mistakes on my end. I.... I wanted to correct them.

Clearing my mind like the teaching I have had before, I came to a conclusion.

"I feel that Maya, already has fallen Masters. That is why I am here today instead of her." I shook my head keeping my eyes closed and my head down. "I have fought against the dark side of the force many times. I have had training to keep myself in check. I do not fear, nor will I ever fear the dark side and it's quest to corrupt." Lifting my head I continued with a clear voice. "I know that there will be challenges ahead of her, and this rescue mission if it even sent out. I am already prepared for the worst. I have had friends fall while I still stand. Each time they have fallen, I did nothing to stop it. RIght now, my mind is clear as day. My actions may not show it, but I know how to fight the Darkside when I have done it time and time again."

I looked to my arm where on my robes was the symbol of the Silver Jedi. As well as the bars for my rank within the Sixth battalion. Gulping, I knew that this action would not earn any favors, nor get my place back. "I once said to a friend of mine who is long gone, 'I fight so others don't have to.' and even word I say is true. I have never lied." Ripping off the patch from my robes I held it in my hand. "I am no longer fit to work within the Silver Jedi order, or the Sixth Battalion with the actions that I will be taking." Walking up to the master I handed it to her nicely.

"I know the consequences of the actions that Maya is taking. I can fight them, but she I fear, cannot." I looked to the rent patch of my shoulder underneath the robes. "Self sacrifice for the ones you care for is sometimes necessary." Looking back up to the masters, I thought they would know about sacrifice. I gave up the search for my family name to help them. I stopped roaming around looking for trouble to help others train. But even with all that, I had lost my friends. I had no family. No connections to the world or Galaxy. Giving the salute as that of the Sixth Battalion. I turned to walk away with a scary calm demeanor. A man who knew that this road would lead down a path that would only bring pain to himself.

"I thought you Masters would understand that sacrifice is needed for just about everything in this time and age." Turning to look over my shoulder, "Save Maya for me, because if you can't then I will." For years my friends, Krest, Big G, Dovian, promised each other that we would stay together, but they all fell to the darkside. And I was scared to go to them and try to lift them back up. I had let them down. Maya was the closest to a friend that I had gained here. Her falling, would only cause me more guilt, and pain. If the Silver Jedi could not save her with the Lightside of the force, as well as her child. Then I would do everything in my power to keep at least one person higher than myself. "Good-bye."

A hologram burst to life on the table. It was the Jedi known as Hasjo Hallu. He was seated in a Delta-7 Interceptor, coordinates began appearing beside him. The message was dated several days ago, the transmission coming from a now destroyed R9 unit. The message had been bounced off several sensor relays before finally travelling to Voss. It was here the Sixth Battalions communications centre had received the message and began decrypting the code. Now, it was being transferred. The message had been labelled a top priority and for council eyes only. The message was short but repeated three times before vanishing. "Knight Maya Whitelight has deployed an emergency beacon. I've gone to retrieve her. Possible enemy Star Destroyer involved." The coordinates in question linked back to the Polith system near Thyferra. The hologram was static and whilst he spoke his hands were on two controls, manoeuvring the starfighter out of oncoming enemy fire. At last upon it's third and final replay, the hologram vanished from the room.
