Luna couldn’t help the slight smirk that came over her face, under her helmet, as the Knights walked up to the group, fashionably late as usual for that group of forcers. She made no move to stop two of her squadmates who stepped up to the dark sinned man, the inconvenience of having to explain who he was plenty of payback for arriving late for a battle. They let him by quick enough, as if they really had to check and see who he was, and as he was walking up Luna straightened up, giving him a soft nod.

“Well, since you’re here, I might as well keep you with me. Always nice to have a little forcer help. Even if always does seem to show up late to the party.” Luna said, smirking lightly underneath her helmet, before looking over the man’s shoulder to give a nod to Mandalorain group, who all shot into the sky with their jetpacks just a moment later.

The commander’s attention now turned back to the task at hand, pushing through the complex to where the they could plant the explosives and bring the artillery tower down, effectively ended the armory’s role in this fight. That location would be through the main staging area, which would be located through the corridor in front of them.

Taking a few last moments to make sure everyone was set and ready to go, she nodded to the knight before unsliging her blaster rifle off her shoulder and turning to charge through the corridor. Once through the other side, frak would hit the fan. They had been lucky up to this point with minimum resistance. She highly doubted that it would stay way once they hit the staging area.

After a few breaths to steady herself, and with the squad gathered around, the Fallen Angel charged forward, heading directly into the corridor, directly into the fray. The entire area was dark for only a moment before blinding light shot through her visor as she sprinted into the staging area, sliding behind a stack of durosteel crates.

The enemy seemed to have been ready for them, as the moment Luna had appeared out the darkness, they had turned a mounted heavy laser, on top of a military truck-vehicle, toward the entryway, firing rounds of lasers rapidly. Foot soldiers on the ground also did their best to bottleneck the opening, trying to keep the rest of the Dauntless from entering the area. A few slipped through the fire after their commander, all taking up positions of cover and returning fire back at the group. Luna did the same, but if they didn’t stop the mounted blaster then their casualties would rise quickly.

Her eyes quickly searched out the Knight, getting his attention with a quick wave before giving an open handed motion toward the heavy laser. “Mind taking that thing out? We'll cover you!”

The outside of the Mansion had devolved into chaos. Where Lirka and her forces dropped (some pods still flinging themselves down into the planet with thunderous claps of destroyed duracrete and metal) the raw chaos of wanton slaughter followed: this was, to an extent, the element of the Sephi.

And her new toy did everything to further this element even deeper.

With little more than a swing of a massive armored gauntlet one of the men of the security force was sent flying as little more than a broken heap. The stomping metal feet of her powersuit giving a clanging chorus for the poor fools who had tried to mount a defense, so many of them fleeing in the wake of the Confederacy’s attack dog. The mounted laser cannon on the weapon burned red hot and hissed as another stinging stream of bolts were sprayed across the defensive line of the Security Forces. It was a bloodbath.

Droids poured from their Droch pods, hulking war droids spat furious amounts of plasma into whatever enemy target that moved, and a gross amount of B2 super battle droids had been poured into the assault: anyone who gazed upon the haze of dust, listening to the great song of battle that roared below could easily see what the Marshal had intended.
The total and utter annihilation of the enemy, with no regards for mercy nor pity.

Umedara steadied her feet along the edge of the beam, a singular beam that stood between her and the horde of law enforcement behind her. "Quick, quick, quick..." she muttered under her breath before looking over to where the next rooftop came into view. A steady breath as she continued her balancing act at least sixty feet above the ground, then she felt and heard the beam. It creaked, groaned in protest as the added weight of law enforcement joined her on the beam the Mirialan cast a glance over her shoulder. The cops too found themselves on the walk of death just as the wind kicked up and the beam groaned again.

She looked toward the approaching rooftop and again glanced over her shoulder. No time like the present she thought as she took a few breaths and then bolted into a sprint keeping in mind the importance of staying on the line. Bresnia's finests saw her break into a sprint and followed after but the combined weight and tension was too much the beam began to crack. "Kriffing hutt spawn!" Umedara cursed as she felt the wood crack beneath her steps, then without hesistation she jumped for it...

Landing wasn't pretty, she rolled against the ground and then heard the cries of the law as they fell. One, maybe two were on the edge hanging there and part of her wanted to end them right then and there. The other part wondered if they would try to pull her down and so rather than try to assist directly, she looked around the rooftop. Umedara rushed to grab some found in a few of the crates, she tied it to nearest thing that seemed sturdy enough and then threw the rope down over toward the cops before the access door flew open and she found another set of cops facing her.

Hands in the air Umedara seemed to have her back up against a wall.

Unit 10x B2 MK II Battle Droids Tarek(Male Twi'lek mercenary hired by Jayce)

A slave rebellion? Its the last thing Jayce ever thought he'd be participating in... Let alone helping to lead... But here he stood, Lightsaber in hand staring down at a ragtag group of farmers wearing stolen armor amd weilding stolen weapons.

They were all looking to him as he stood with Tarek and a full squad of Battle droids... Waiting for him to lead them either to glory or a gruesome death. Hear me now denizens of Bresnia.... Too long have you labored under the yoke of oppression.... Too long have the rich gotten richer off of your blood and sacrifice.... Today you take back what is yours... Today I swear this to you... Whether we win this battle or we all die.....You are Free!

Jayce had never really been much for speeches and only hoped they were inspired enough not to run at the first sign of trouble.

Their target was a small communication array just west of their position. The idea being that if the took it out they could attack the next few targets without them being warned beforeband.... At least that was the idea.

You ready for this Tarek? He asked the Twi'lek as he stepped past him and made his way to the top of the small hill.... The twi'leks only response being a nod as he checked the cell on his blaster and just smiled at Jayce. With a forward motion of his hand the Battle droids began sprinting forward towards their intended target with Jayce following suit as he bellowed out...... For Bresnia!!! FOR FREEEEEEEDDOOOOM!!!!!

The brilliant light from the rooftop had her squinting as she emerged from the stairwell, and as her eyes began to adjust, she realized she'd taken a little too long to get herself to that rooftop... Feth. Her eyes darted across to the roof immediately adjacent to the one she'd just crashed onto and spotted the green-skinned Hutt Cartel operative trying to toss some rope to several members of the police force that were now dangling dangerously off the edge of the building.

She noted that there was quite the distance she'd need to traverse between those two buildings if she was going to be any help what-so-ever, and huffed softly - the only sound the expelling of her breath. She spun her wrists a little and gently slid the blades she'd pulled back into the sheath along her back. She then hurried to the edge of the building furthest from where the officers currently hung.

No time like the present... She braced herself, eyes locking on the rooftop where the door was just now bursting open to reveal a new retinue of officers - and she took off running. Shakti ran as fast as her legs would carry her, and upon reaching the edge of the building she leaped. For several moments, that felt like an eternity, she was airborne.

Her feet made contact with the secondary rooftop with a gentle thud, and she threw her weight forward, rolling on her shoulder and tumbling into a crouch not too far from the entrance to the roof that all those coppers had busted through. Shakti rolled her shoulders once more, returning those blades back to her hands and she stayed crouched, glaring angrily up at the group that threatened their... ally?

Lucien returned a playful smirk to the woman's joke. His eyes cut to the side of their slits as he heard the soldiers jetpacks explode into a flurry as they departed the area. Lucien's foot came forward, kicking his spear up over his shoulder as he smirked at the Commander before him. "Just try to keep up, Commander." With nothing more for the two to say they would make their way closer to the armory. Lucien could not hide the smile on his face, hell he didn't even try. He was filled with that warm feeling that came from the moments before combat. It was invigorating and he would drink in every moment of it.

The Phrik spear on his shoulder shined in the light as they appeared from the shadows of the corridor. He watched the Dauntless Commander slide into cover and he did a similar action, his spear scraping against the ground as he followed her. Leaning the weapon against the nearby crate, the man whistled softly as he listened to the heavy blaster cannon let out a ruthless barrage of blaster bolts. "He is having fuuuun." He said, arching a brow to the woman as she spoke to him.

Lucien glanced over the crate, one of the blaster bolts slamming into the top of the durasteel plating before causing him to jerk back down. "Ok.....That should be easy." He muttered before gaining a tight grip on his spear. "Cover me!" He called out, rolling away from the crates into the open. As Lucien moved into the open area, blaster fire rained after him, yet none of the bolts managed to hit their mark as he was just one millisecond too fast. He strafed through the courtyard, dodging the blaster fire as best he could. Once he'd cut through half of the courtyard, he paused, launching his spear through the air.

The gunner who'd been slamming into the Dauntless position had scarcely noticed Lucien, or perhaps he'd believed the young knight's death was an inevitability. When the Vibrospear slammed into his chest, pulling him from the blaster cannon, Lucien smirked. In the next moment, a blaster bolt struck his shoulder, slamming him back. "Kark!" He'd gotten overconfident, again.

He rushed back into cover before calling out loudly. "Ok, I did my part, your turn!" He yelled out, pressing a hand to the wound on his shoulder.

The commandos had done basically all they could to keep the covering fire up for the night as he stormed forward, taking out the heavy gunner with relative ease. What they didn’t count on was the Knight then proceeding to stand there, instead of taking cover, and getting shot in the back of the arm. The inexperience and lack of battle knowledge had gotten him in trouble, which made the commander of the group frown slightly. Why was this obviously inexperienced knight here alone?

Those were thoughts and questions for another day. For now, she needed to get over to that truck, get some kind of aid to Lucien. Turning to her right, and after giving a few hand motions to the commandos with her, three of them began to push up the right side of the staging area, drawing most of the fire away from Lucien’s position. The rest of the commandos slowly did the same, making sure to draw enough covering fire for Luna to move the rest of the way up to the truck.

It didn’t take long to mentally address the situation before her, medically, with Lucien. Low seriousness wound to the shoulder from a medium power shot. Enough to hurt and bleed, but nothing that needed serious immediate attention. The rest of the firefight could be heard as she quickly pulled out a bacta patch, pealed the protective layer off of it, and moved Lucien, roughly, into a position she could place it on his shoulder. There was no time for pleases, they needed to get moving soon.

Moving whatever clothing or armor he might have in the way aside, Luna pressed the bacta patch onto the wound with enough pressure to make sure it would stick. She spoke as she picked up her weapon once more, eyes pointed toward the end of the staging area, where the long and tall support beams of the artillery tower could be seen. “I need to know if you can help us get there,” the redhead said, pointing toward the tower, “or I need to leave you here, since you can’t keep your head in the fight.”

She looked back toward him, awaiting an answer to her question. “It’ll be easier if I have you by my side, Knight Lucien. But I don’t want to have to explain why you’re dead to your master if you mess up.”

Lucien had sat down for a moment to regain his breath and focus on the wound in his shoulder. It had been superficial at best. In reality the blaster round had been clumsily fired and when Lucien's shoulder absorbed the impact, it only took a fraction of the damage. His eyes rose to meet the Commander who he'd spoken to only a moment ago. He winced as she applied the bacta patch, but said nothing else. He glanced back up to see the soldiers have advanced their position, before turning back to the woman and scoffing.

"I didn't ask you to stop and check on me. I'm fine. You should be assaulting that position." His scolding words came from a place of embarrassment. He hated to be checked on, it reminded him so much of how his master had treated him. Despite his attitude and demeanor, Lucien had fought in more battles than he could count. However, they were different. The use of blasters and slugthrowers was heavily uncommon on Illyria. Even vibroblades were a recent discovery. The man pushed himself to his feet, rolling his shoulder briefly before nodding at the Commander. "Let's go." He confirmed before rounding the set of crates.

One of the Dauntless soldiers had retrieved his spear and tossed it at the man. Catching it in his hands, his brown eyes were set on the position before him. This time, as Lucien charged into the fray of combat, it was different. The soldiers had managed to push their own lines against the enemies, to the point where they were only meters apart.

His spear would fly through the air with deadly precision as he assaulted the right flank. The man was swift and tactful in his assault, only ever pausing to take cover from the occasional blaster round aimed towards him. While he may have bee disadvantaged at long range, it was quickly seen that he was skilled when up close and personal.

Luna couldn’t help the smile that came over her face seeing the man get frustrated at her, catch his spear with a look of determination, and charge forward on the right flank, cutting down any and all that stood before him. She knew she more than likely just embarrassed him or hit a nerve of his pride, but he would be alright. Some good ole fashioned clearing out of dissidents would help clear his mind, with the only thing serving to remind him being the patch on his shoulder.

She watched him tear up the right flank for a few moments more before quickly leaving her own cover and charging forward to the front line to meet up with the rest of her squad, who had the last of the men on the left side pinned down behind a stack of durosteel crates. Smirking wide to herself, she pulled a thermal detonator from her belt, primed it, held it for a few seconds, then lobbed it up and over the crates so the grenade would land behind them.

Moments later it blew, sending the guards flying forward and landing hard on the ground in front of them. The Dauntless squad used this moment to quickly leap over their own cover, charge forward and kick the rifles away from the last of the guards and quickly bring them to their knees, blasters primed and pressed to the back of their heads.

The commander of the group took her time walking forward, regarding each of the knelt men with a bit of contempt, before pulling the explosive charges out of the bag of the team’s explosive expert. She lobbed two of them to Lucien, nodding toward the tower’s support beams. “Place them on the hinged joints and set it to ten seconds, that should give us plenty of time to get out of here.”

She began to walk forward to her side of the tower before stopping momentarily to give a look back toward the prisoners with Dauntless blasters to their heads. “No prisoners.” These were the only two words she said, before turning back to the job at hand. The sounds of blasters firing and bodies hitting the ground could be heard behind her, but there was no reaction from the commander. They didn’t have time to rush prisoners out of here. Ending them quickly was a merciful death in comparison to if they had to die in the explosion.

Luna was simply doing them a favor.

What remained of the enemy element was quickly struck down by Lucien and the rest of the Dauntless soldiers. He regarded them with a knowing gaze as he watched them dispatch the final soldiers. They were not quite as artistic as Illyrian soldiers but they got the job done and got it done damn well. The man stood over a dead body, gazing at it for a moment before he bent down to rip off a piece of the cloth from the man's shirt. Wrapping the cloth around his hand, he began to wipe away the blood that had gathered over his spear. He glanced around searchingly, making sure there were no other soldiers in hiding.

Once his blade was mostly clear of the crimson liquid he tossed the cloth back onto the ground. Just in time to catch two explosive charges in his arms. He turned back to the tower's support beam, setting one charge on the first and another on the second. As the woman asked, he'd set them to ten seconds and turned to her.

Her command to execute the prisoners did not cause him a moments hesitation. If they'd been dumb enough to get caught it was not so odd to think they would die for this. Hefting his spear over his shoulder he looked to the commander with another proud smirk. "Ready to make some fireworks?" He said before heading off, away from the tower that was preparing to blow.

Luna did the same to her two beams, placing the explosive charges on the beams opposite to Lucien’s. it made it much easier to not have to do all four beams herself. Much less time consuming as well. Setting the timers to 10 seconds, she grabbed the remote detonator out of one the last pockets on her belt as she walked back over to the group.

Lucien’s comment had her grinning underneath her helmet, even so much as to prompt her to respond with a quick, “Race you back to the courtyard. First there buys drinks for the other’s squads,” knowing full well that Lucien was the only one of his squad for now, while Luna had, well….many he’d be buying drinks for.

With that, Luna pressed the button, and the entire group started their sprint back toward the courtyard. As the seconds ticked by, the Dauntless commandos leaped and slid through the debries and the dead bodies, clearly set on being the first ones back into the courtyard beside their commander. And not being blown to bits, of course. That was important too.

The explosions went off simultaneously, blowing all four beams of the tower to bits. It crumbed from it’s own weight, falling forward and onto a group fo transports, which proceeded to blow as well from the force and the ignition of them being hit with such force. The resulting explosion was one of great magnitude, reaching high in the sky before settling down into a soft, burning blaze which had black smoke reaching it’s way above the armory’s tallest towers.

Luna wasn’t sure who had made it back to the courtyard first, though she was sure Lucien would let her know, referring back to how competitive all Knight’s seemed to be. Though she had been grateful for his help. The mission had been accomplished, with the armory’s usefulness now completely shot. The oppressive government wouldn’t be receiving anymore help from this location, and it was another mission accomplished by the Dauntless.

Bresnia2.jpg
History will remember the day Bresnia rebelled against a corrupt government. It will remember how The Confederacy utilized rebels and revolutionaries to bring an establishment to it's knees.
With Bresnia's planetary defense network shaken by the actions of the Rebel Cell it was child's play for the Confederacy to oust the corrupt government. By the time a Confederate Garrison Fleet descended upon the planet, they were welcomed with open arms. Following this battle a new regime was instilled by The Confederacy, led by a planetary Viceroy who would represent the planet in all Viceroyal settings.
Bresnia has fallen, and risen again.
{Excellent work you guys. Yet again, this marks the conclusion of Bresnia's story but feel free to drive your rp forward!}

The arrival of one sweet looking redhead caught both her attention and that of the police. Blasters were drawn and Umedara backed up toward the edge of the roof where she noticed there was a canopy leading down toward the market it was large and drawn out, it met with four other canopies at a central post. She swiftly turned her attention back toward the police as they read off a litany of charges against her. "Listen, fellas - it's been great but sees, I uh- I promised my girl here that we'd go shopping and well... gotta go." Umedara gave them a salute while reaching out for the redhead with her other hand with an aim to grab at the woman's arm before letting herself fall backward off the rooftop. The air rushed up through her back and the canopy came up faster than she expected.

Having only just turned to slide Umedara ended up rolling down the canopy her hand caught hold of the edge of it. Her body then swung underneath, unfortunately, she couldn't hang on tight enough. Slip of her hands and her body continued forward as momentum forced her into a tuck and roll onto the dirt. The ceiling seemed to spin but thankfully the guys had finally come back around for her. They hoisted her up and Umedara got to her feet in a hurry, blaster fire came her way and the Mirialan grabbed hold of bread and fruit from the stands before stumbling forward. When she spotted the redhead she tossed her the bread and kept the fruit as an unmarked speeder filled with a few known Hutt Cartel thugs rushed through the other side of the market. "Until next time, red!" Ume shouted as she jumped aboard the speeder.

Location: Bresnia, Varrington City
Objective: Avoid serious head injury

Shakti lifted herself to a standing stance in slow inches as she heard keenly the list of things the Bresnia's police force believed her and this fascinating looking green-skinned woman were somehow guilty of. She took careful steps to place herself between the angry looking gang of thugs and Umedara, rotating the blades in her hands a little to make them glint threatening in the light, bouncing light into the eyes of one of the men on the fringe. She didn't bother to suppress the cruel little grin it inspired upon her face as he squinted and was forced to turn his face away.

She was utterly enjoying the discomfort she was causing, not expecting to feel the sharp tug at her arm as [member="Umedara Zaar"] pulled her off her feet and clear off the edge of the building at her back. Thankfully she was physically incapable of screaming, as it would have ruined a bit of the 'heroic' behavior she'd been attempting to display, but it didn't stop her from flailing a little as the two tumbled through the open air down to the large fabric canopy below them.

Umedara had the advantage here as she was ready to grab at the fabric and flip herself more-or-less gracefully down to the ground, tumbling to recover for any of that loss of grace... Shakti, on the other hand, bounced off that canopy, rolled once in mid-air, and as she came down again those blades of her sliced through the canvas and she was sent sprawling onto the ground. She was laid out flat on her back with a solid thud, the wind knocked from her as she lay there dazed for a moment. It took her a moment to slowly push herself up into a sitting position... Just as bread was thrust into her lap.

She watched in stunned silence as the lovely green woman loped off, shouting a farewell and hopping onto a speeder. She was left blinking off at the dust it left in its wake - until she heard the shouts of the police making their way off the roof they'd just fallen from. She swore colourfuly in her head as she tucked that bread into one of the folds of her tunic and shot up onto her feet. She took off running into the market, aiming to make it back to the landing pad she'd arrived on, and getting the heck off this planet.
