A New Star Rises (Kaeshana Confederation)

Not Ordo

Just under the upper hand.
173. 173 worlds had he now trodden beneath his hard fibrous feet. The ages had come and gone empires had risen and fallen. He always found himself drawn to the areas where there were eddies in the Force. Once again as time slowly drifted by he had stowed away on another flight machine and drifted on the stars like a seed on the wind and found himself in a new place. The people here had a depth in them that was not common among the short lived things. While the galaxy flitted about like insects, biting, mating spreading, here he could enjoy his slow climb toward death in peace. The sun was. Heavily filtered in many areas here but the mountains and clearings made food enough for him to enjoy.

He stood today much closer to the mammals than he usually did and drank the cool water from a fresh stream. It was beautiful here the sun magnificent, the water fresh, the people vibrant. He took great joy in every sunrise since arriving and felt the sadness of parting with each sunset.

Why had he drawn so close to the city today? The ebb and flow of the force, the great source of life had hinted at activty and so against his better judgement he had come.

Slowly he transformed into one of the Eldorai men and wrapped in his old grey cloak he began his trek to the city. He had done this before when they wandered to close to his vicinity. He would appear as just the old hermit and that suited him well. He was perhaps nearing middle aged for his kind but a century was like a year for him and a millennium like a decade.
He would enter but what was the force saying for him? He would have to wait and see.

"Hey, can't just sit around with my credits drinking wine all day," Tegaea laughed. She'd tried lounging around after her recovery. After 2 days she was so monumentally bored she'd decided she needed something else to do.
"The Eldorai are largely getting used to the fact that the humans and other outsiders are here to stay. Most are accomodating nicely, but some still continue to resist. Some resist violently, some with arrogance and withholding of help. There's nothing I can do about that though. I just hope that Silaqui lasts a long while yet."
They approached the palace's white stone ziggurat and after being stopped by security was allowed to drive beneath the great edifice and park there.

@[member="HK-36"], @[member="Tegaea Alcori"]

"We'd do more than just drink wine all day, love. I can think of lots of intense things," Siobhan said with a mischievous smirk, chuckling. Among other things it involved ropes and Eldorai slave girls delivering back rubs. Not to mention the important mission of the Order of the Torch to deliver education and learning, it was a most noble work that intersected with administering discipline to facilitate learning.

Ahem, moving on. During her time of leisure Siobhan apparently had experienced little difficulty in slipping into the luxury of the aristos she supposedly hated, reflecting in her now more refined appearance and the greater attention she paid to it. Nonetheless, as attractive as a life of decadent hedonism was, even she became bored once in a while. Besides, she still had the urge to tear things and other people apart.

"There's a Dashdae Eldorai insurgency - Dark Eldorai, they have some forcers among them. It's mainly followers of Nalia, the Sila's rival from the succession crisis, though I think some noble families discreetly back them while feigning loyalty. Mainly do assassinations, hit and run attacks, but we've flushed out a number of cells," Siobhan responded thoughtfully. Silaqui was derided by them as a foreign puppet, but she was still of the royal blood. If she were to die, all bets would be off. Anya was the heir to the throne, but she was seen as even more of a foreigner, as hot as Queen Anya would be. "We'll get through and prosper, dear. Got me to tear things apart if things go bad. And HK," she added.

Siobhan brought the speeder in for a halt and landed in the parking lot they had been assigned to. Built like a ziggurat made of white stone, the building, which simultaneously served as seat of government, royal residence and holy temple dedicated to the Great Goddess, was a beautiful yet cold from the outside. At the enormous, ostentatious gates Angelii warriors clad in ornate golden armour stood sentinel, still as statues, but ever watchful, armed with halberds and the traditional sarix blades of their people. At the head of them stood - another old friend, well, perhaps not really, since this writer dislikes her - Kaida Taldir, who had rejoined the elite guard and been promoted to Talon, the equivalent of Sergeant. This had brought her shiny armour, a slightly bigger apartment and a few Angelii to boss around.

She greeted the party with the traditional Eldorai salute, a right fist over her heart. "Lady Alcori, Lady Kerrigan, greetings. Her Majesty is...expecting you," she said smoothly, her address of Siobhan was still slightly less warm than that of Tegaea and more coldly cordial. "She made it clear that important matters of state are on the agenda," she said deadpan, not trolling at all, further requesting their papers, which some Angelii minion scanned with a sort of PDA-device. It was good to have minions. More than she had had at the Pyre - she blamed Siobhan for her lack of promotion!

"You know, you know me by now very well, Taldir, and must know the contents of the papers by heart," Siobhan joked.

"I'm afraid I'm among the Eldorai who know you a great deal less well, my Lady. Besides, we've been hearing about shapeshifting, liquid-alloy using assassin droids and all that. That was a joke. I watch too many human holovids," she said after a beat. "Please follow, I will accompany you to the throne room."

"That was a good movie, ending sucked though. Nice to see you're benefiting from Kaeshana opening up and embracing our best cultural imports," Siobhan spoke but Kaida was not paying attention to her, after having gestured to the halbberd wielding Angelii to open the gates and stand aside, directing the visitors through the long corridor that followed, her eyes having fallen on HK.

Or the 'mechanical demon' as some Angelii had called him. Anyone who did so got the crappiest jobs from her. Or a stern punishment because such superstition annoyed her. "Iron Knight, it's been a while. Welcome back. I missed our chats about the cycles of empires," she said warmly before frowning slightly. Best increase the number of patrols, they had lain a new carpet...and both Siobhan and HK had a tendency to cause mayhem, she thought dryly. "I'll notify Her Majesty of another old friend coming from the civil war coming. Hopefully with less dismembering and roof-dropping, it's in the new year's Resolution. Are you seeking a contract with Firemane now?"

"Dark Eldorai? Well fancy that, at least the new job does not keep you any less bored."
He quipped in his monotone as they ventured through the halls of the White Ziggurrat.

He recognized Kaida instantly, he fought besides her multiple times, after all, he gave her a nod at her greeting, a small bow that he often did.
"Yes, I love you too, Kaida."
He quipped at her surprisingly warm greeting.
"You know, I have told you a mortal man is below you, you deserve a metal one. Nudge-nudge, wink-wink."
He said, glancing to her with the dull glow of his red photoreceptors.
"As to my stay here, I was just coming by to make sure Exarch and Ever-Colonel are not missing any limbs or collapsing buildings on daily basis. But it seems that old friends need help of old friends, so I suppose I will be working with the Firemane in the future."
He looked to Kaida once again.
"And you will be seeing much more of more around here."
.
.
.
"Lucky you."

Tegaea Alcori

Tegaea smiled at Kaida's appearance. She rather liked the Angelii, even if she was a bit of a stuffed shirt sometimes. With them getting some odd looks, especially HK, they were led through to the throne room.

Her Highness Star Queen Silaqui III, watched them enter. She seemed vaguely disappointed that there were more than Siobhan there. Perhaps she had been hoping for a one-on-one meeting to discuss...budgets or something.
Still, the Queen looked regal on her throne.
"Welcome back to Kaeshana, Iron Knight," she said awkwardly. Eldorai had a thing about droids still! "Welcome, Lady Kerrigan, Lady Alcori. What brings you here today?" she asked a tad suspiciously. Perhaps she feared they'd impose an unequal treaty on them!

"Your majesty."
HK bowed to Silaqui in greeting
"Glad to see you are well, and you have grown up quite a bit since the last time I saw you."
At the query what brought them there today he slightly glanced to Tegs
"Oh have you not heard?"
He looked back to Silaqui
"Droids have finally rebelled against organics and won the resulting war, I am here to ensure good relations and alliance."
He went down to one knee, looking to Silaqui
"Through matrimony and consummation."

He glanced to Tegs again, it may have been too many jokes for one visit
"Now if you will not accept, I also have better news."
He looked back to Silaqui
"I do not plan on visiting your palace too often, you will not have to suffer me on day-to-day basis."

@[member="Tegaea Alcori"], @[member="HK-36"]

Siobhan gave the Queen a short bow. She had important reasons to meet Silaqui. Both liked to read post-classical Alderaanian poetry. Yes, really. This was done best in private...so that there would be no distractions. They should get to that soon enough, after dealing with those boring matters of state. For some reason those annoying plebeians and bureaucrats could not leave them alone and imposed upon them with petty issues.

As HK spoke up she shot him a very annoyed death glare. Eldorai were very...big on protocol, especially royals! Her look pretty much told him to keep his jokes to himself, at least inside the palace. Of course, deep down she was finding it difficult to suppress breaking out into amused laughter! "Iron Knight jests, his programming has some minor...glitches, oddities. My apologies. Too much time spent among human malelings and tinkering by them, they never get anything right. I'm sure he just wanted to volunteer his services training your Angelii in lightsabre combat," she interjected, speaking in Eldorai, a language she had actually put some effort into learning for a change, though that had required using a book for something other than a club.

"I'm here for matters relating to the expansion of Your Majesty's fleet so that the Eldorai can better crush foreign corsairs like the insects they are in your name. We've made progress in our negotiations with Silk Holdings on a joint venture and I'd like to present our findings. Along with some issues I'd like to bring up in private," Siobhan continued, though her attempt to sound formal came across as slightly constipated. To herself she sounded like a mentally deficient hyena. Over the years she had learnt a few things about aristos, for one they liked flattery a lot and how much something you did would make them look better. There was also complimenting their hair or how good their clothes made them look, Silaqui particularly liked that. Of course, Siobhan was wholly oblivious to the fact thar she was susceptible to pretty much the same things, ironically but predictably enough!

"Glitches, perhaps, but tinkering? I do not let organics or machines touch my mind."
He stood up to his legs
"As for training your guards, I have no love for your people, and they are not fans of my kind."
He crossed his arms at his waist, hiding them into large sleeves of his robes.
"But if they are willing to listen, I will teach them arts of sword and lightsaber, Ever-Colonel Kerrigan and Exarch Alcori can refer them to me when I am visiting your planet."

To say that the Queen looked a bit unhappy at HK’s words was an understatement. When he said that he would not be there often all she could manage was a sour, “We must be grateful for small mercies then. I am sure the Angelii are quite capable of learning these things ourselves.”

Looking to Siobhan, her companion in…comparative literature…she gave a more benign smile. “Your proposal has considerable merit. We must not be too hasty of course, but I will examine the proposals you put forward.”

She looked between Siobhan, Tegaea and the metal demon. It clearly wouldn’t be the usual sort of private audience. Less poetry for a start.

@[member="Tegaea Alcori"], @[member="HK-36"]

At the very least there would be no diplomatic incident. It might have compelled our intrepid capitalists to force an unequal treaty upon the space elves and that would be bad for marketing. Well, perhaps not since imperialism was in these days. As the Holy Jedi Republic showed so successively. Along with war crimes.

"I thank you, Majesty. I'll confer with the Great Seraph and your leading naval officers to discuss matters to refine our proposals. Firemane has an interest in seeing Kaeshana and you strengthened," she responded in Eldarai. On ocassion, Siobhan could actually make an effort to be nice to people. Usually pretty ladies, especially queens and princesses, generally if they were elves. As for poetry, nothing could get in the way of the educational work of the Order of the Torch! Since being initiated into the Order Siobhan had made an effort to learn Eldorai and her handwriting was on occasion even readable. Well, or classified by protocol droids as an extinct as opposed to an unknown language. As for propping up the elves, she would certainly be happy to be less dependent on the Protectorate.

"I am sorry, your highness."
HK said, seeing her sour expression and giving her a small bow.
"But I am too a head of a planet, and as you know, that is a time consuming task, I also cannot forget my other duties to the Protectorate. But I will help whenever I am in the area, if Exarch and Colonel want to see Kaeshana strengthen, then I will help them fulfill such task."
He glanced to Tegs and Siobhan, seeing if there would be more talk about their proposals or if he was being invited to the meeting about them.

Fortunately (or not), neither Siobhan nor the readers have to endure a meeting of suspicious and conservative space elves arguing over space ship costs.

At this moment, by luck or design, the attack began. The first they knew of it, a hurried Angelii entered.
“Majesty, Dashdae Eldorai! They’re attacking! We need to get you to shelter!”
The Queen instantly stood up, looking worried. “Summon the guards! Call them here to protect me! We need to get to the bunker!”
The Angelii’s gaze shifted to Siobhan, HK and Tegaea. “I will escort her Majesty to the bunker. You should get out of here whilst you can,” she said.
Tegaea frowned. “We should go with the Queen.”
“No, her Majesty will be perfectly safe with us. It is forbidden for outsiders to enter.”
The Queen looked at Siobhan anxiously. “You’ll come with me, won’t you, Siobhan?” she asked.
Outside there could be heard the sound of gunshots and explosions….

@[member="Tegaea Alcori"], @[member="HK-36"]

"Don't worry, you'll be safe." There were more moments to be diplomatic. This was not one of those moments. Moreover, social conventions had never stopped Siobhan. "That's not flying here," Siobhan snapped at the Angelii. She might have left military service, but she still had a good sergeant voice. Backed up by the fact that she could quite easily tear down the roof above their heads. If the Angelii got in her way she would just punch her. Force-enhanced punch, with enough concussive force behind it to break a jaw.

"I'm the outsider who secured the Queen's throne and put down a blood traitor who tried to murder her. I also happen to be the best force-using fighter on the planet and Firemane's the last group that would want anything to happen to her. So we're coming and will make sure she gets to the bunker. HK and I will go and kill anyone who's hostile. I'm not endangering my wife...or the Queen. Understood? Good. Let's move" She gave Tegaea a significant look, indicating she would be escorted to the bunker as well. With gun shots and explosions resonating outside, it seemed the safest place for her to be.

HK nodded, taking his training lightsaber off of his belt as he followed behind Siobhan.
"Damn it, I am missing a meeting of suspicious and conservative Eldorai arguing over ship costs for this."
For HK it was just like watching a soap opera.
Either way, he would be just behind Siobhan, in case something would happen on the way to the bunker.

In the palace, away from the audience chamber, random corridor

Being a simple NCO and thus very low in the pecking order, Kaida had not attended the fascinating audience, though she would probably find a meeting of suspicious and conservative Eldorai arguing over shipping costs extremely boring. Undoubtedly Lady Kerrigan would like to invite her to a session about poetry...somehow reading post-classical Alderaanian poetry was done best without wearing any clothes. Something about the Alderaanian poets being in tune with nature and wanting to experience life unshackled.

Kaida never had much time for poetry and so she had been returning to her guard duties - there were always new Angelii to break in. Not that she would use hot rods of iron or anything like that because apparently that was no longer seen as progressive and modern. That was when the attack began, heralded by screams, explosions, gunfire, alarm sirens howled.

"Dashdae Eldorai have penetrated the outer defence ring. Destroy the heretics, defend your Queen!" it blared out of a loudspeaker as defeaning explosions roared, accompanied by the symphony of pained cries. Reacting immediately, instinctively as a soldier should, Kaida pulled her lightsabre into her hand and it ignited with a snap-hiss and the yellow blade dazzled into existence as she quickly raced towards what seemed like the place where the mayhem reigned, activating her comm link to contact her squad.

"Get to the gates now, hold the line at all cost," noticing one her fellow Angelii she motioned to her impatiently, "Irissa, come with me! We must...," she did not get any further because suddenly part of the wall exploded and, caught in the blast, though distant enough that it did not kill her, she was thrust into the air and thrown for several metres, landing face-first into the marble floor, blood dripping down her chin, with the elf rolling as debris was tossed towards her and a salvoe of blaster and flechette fire, razor sharp shards so favoured by the Dashdae Eldorai, came shooting her way. Her lightsabre, which had fallen out of her grip, flew back into her hand as she furiously slashed bolts out of the air, gritting her teeth as a blaster bolt grazed her face and a sharp flechette struck her leg, though it was blocked by her armour.

Thank the Goddess for small mercies, one might think. The open palm of her hand turned frosty, ice peals forming upon the glove, then as she thrust her hand forward it sent out a volley of cold, effectively amounting to a force-based cryoban grenade as the temperature dropped rapidly and she harnessed her Sciia, layers of ice sweeping towards the shooters in a wave, crystallising and freezing them, those that were not quick enough to dodge. Groaning she emerged upward and charged, lightsabre moving to slash at opponents as the first frozen enemy burst into pieces, but then she was suddenly seized by invisible hands and before she could react thrown into a wall. She had just about enough time to react to spin and grab a grenade from her belt, throwing it at her attacker before she made contact with the wall.

The rogue Angelii leapt very high as the grenade came flying her way, though she was equally thrown, giving Kaida time, though her opponent quickly ignited her sarix, the traditional energy blade of the guard. "The reign of human monkeighs and traitorous whores is at an end. Today we will liberate Kaeshana and put an end to all who defy the Goddess," she declared, as she brought her blade crashing down with the force of a hurricane, for it to be blocked as Kaida wielded her lightsabre, furiously pushing the attack back. The sarix was a powerful weapon, from a more elegant, more heroic time, but inferior to the lightsabre, much as that was a foreigner's weapon.

"I do not appreciate being called a traitor. Ironic how saving the planet must start by spilling Eldorai blood. Counterintuitive," Kaida said with grim humour as she pressed on, charging the Angelii, a furious dance developing. Kaida had grown strong in her Sciia but in bladework she was far from a prodigy, so she soon found herself on the defensive as the furious sweeps of the rogue Angelii drove her back, rage powering her. Biting down on her tongue as her opponent first feinted a stab towards her chest before slashing into her shoulder, Kaida leapt to evade a furious sweep to her legs before unleashing a salvoe of icicles that her opponent dodged, before falling over as Kaida's exerted her powers to turn the ground slippery, moist liquid spreading. She gathered it with her powers and sent it crashing towards her enemy as a wave that crystallised into hard ice, but the rogue was skilled in the art of fire and so fireballs dissipated the ice, the flames being dragged across the hall towards Kaida, scorching her and forcing her to roll on the ground as the burning heat threatened to engulf her before she managed to harness her Sciia to form an ice shield, managing to hold it up as she was battered.

Then, liquid streaming down her, armour scorched, she sent the shield pushing towards her opponent as a battering ram. Hot fire shot towards and burnt it, ice melting like before a supernova, the rogue smirking triumphantly and raising her blade, before she suddenly cried out and fell as Kaida's lightsabre chopped her leg off below the knee. "I don't like being called a traitor. Especially not by ignorant fools." With her armour burnt in places, revealing scorched clothes, Kaida was upon her, eyes cold as she thrust her blade forward to stab her.

Anya Venari

Star Queen Tirathana VII
@[member="Shriastae Tivale"]

As Anya was discussing matters with Shri back at the Firemane HQ her commlink suddenly buzzed urgently. Picking it up she studied the alert and frowned.
“There’s a red alert at the palace. The Angelii have been mobilised to come to the Queen’s aid.”
She paused. What should she do now? In cases like this she was supposed to go to ground to ensure both Queen and Princess were not killed. If both fell then there was no clear succession, and the planet would be embroiled in war over who would be Queen, a war which might become a full-fledged civil war!
Reason and logic told her this, but Anya knew she couldn’t leave her sister, not to mention @[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"], @[member="HK-36"] and the others to a danger. Even if all she did was rally the Angelii she had to act.

“Shri, get your stuff. We’re going to the Palace. It’s under attack, and we need to help.” There was no arguing that tone.

Aluk Magar

The Dark Eldorai Renegade
@Siobhan Kerrigan @Tegaea Alcori @[member="Anya Venari"] @Shriastae Tivale @[member="Kaida Taldir"]
Meanwhile, outside

Aluk softly whistled to himself running through the alleys of Santaissa, holding an Eldorai assault rifle, he was among those Dark Eldorai raiders who decided to strike into the heart of their enemy.
They stopped as a squad of Angelii came up at the end of the alley.
"Enemy forces in front of us!"
Aluk called out, rolling faster than Cira rolls her dice, getting behind some stone rubble of a cover.
He popped up slightly from behind, taking aim with his rifle and letting out bursts of suppressing fire so that rest of his raider squad could catch up. The two Eldorai forces exchanged blaster fire, lives were taken from both sides.
Few bolts struck too close to Aluk's close for his comfort. He ducked down behind the cover.
"We need to flank them!"
He called out to two black-armored warriors next to him, they nodded back and he motioned to a nearby side-alley. They stood up quickly, slightly ducking as they moved in case stray blaster shots would be send their way.
"Come on!"
He hurried them along as they moved around the buildings.

Around one corner they could see a group of Eldorai hurrying out of a building, last traces of evacuation, civilians.
The Dark Eldorai next to Aluk rose their guns at them, he slapped their barrels down quickly, hissing to them,
"Don't, you'll alert the Angelii of our position."
He looked to the civilians, last time he was in Santaissa many Eldorai treated him like trash or second-class citizens, they were the females of his race, of course. Now he made them fear him, made them run.
He watched them from behind his helm, he could have just as well raised his gun and pulled the trigger, made them pay for all those harsh words and their arrogance.
"Besides,"
He said to his companions
"There is no power in killing the innocent."
One of them shrugged
"If you say so, now come on."
He nodded and they kept going along the houses to flank the Angelii squad.

Finally coming upon the target one of them looked around the corner to confirm the enemy position, sounds of battle and blasters being fired was clear.
The look-out nodded and they made sure their magazines were full.
Aluk whistled to himself slightly as they jumped out, taking quick aim at Angelii backs.
"Now this is the world we live in, and these are the hands we're given."
He sung out a shanty of sorts as the flashes of blaster bolts lighted up his dark armor, repeating sound of bolts being sent at their enemies echoing through the air.
"Use them and let's start trying to make it a place worth living in."

The panic room in the Santaissa Palace was a rather lofty affair actually. It was well equipped with ammunition, rations and power in case of a prolonged siege. It was also extremely securely built.
Tegaea took charge when they were inside, ordering the Angelii to guard the Queen whilst Siobhan prepared the defences.

The underground room was built like a vault, but there was only one way in or out. Until help arrived they would have to sit tight.
However, there was a powerful communication system installed, supplied by Firemane, and Tegaea went to it and used it to raise a call for help.
“To all units in Santaissa and nearby, the Queen is besieged in the palace and needs assistance. Rebels have begun an attack and we need assistance.”
At her insistence the Queen appeared and reiterated the message in Eldarai so that the people could be reassured that she lived. Now it seemed to just be a matter of time until help came….

@[member="Tegaea Alcori"], @[member="HK-36"]

Dark Eldorai squads had penetrated the defences at several key points, though Angelii seemed to be rallying to resist the unexpected assault. Siobhan busied herself trying to get into contact with Angelii units and Palace Guards, directing them to secure the key corridors and halls leading towards the bunker. Kill zones would be set up with e-webs, repeaers, flamethrowers and bolters, where a position could not be held they would mine the area with explosives. Moreover, a few elevators would either be shut down or likewise mined with explosive charges, all leading to the fall back position that was the entrance to the bunker.

From the bunker they had command and control capabilities and most of the cameras still seemed to be working, so they would press the button when needed. After some time and plenty of yelling, for it seemed that some Eldorai officers were under the impression that humans had taken the Queens captive, such was their paranoia, she had something like a force together. The Angelii wielded their traditional sarixi and shields, though a number had also adapted to human technology in form of bolters and blasters, much as they disliked admitting their utility.

So far they had intercepted nothing like propaganda broadcasts from holo-net stations or anything like that announcing the fall of the Queen, leading Siobhan to believe that the attack was strongly concentrated on the palace. However, communications to one of the major spaceports had been cut. Perhaps it had fallen to the insurgents, perhaps it was just a communications disruptions. From buildings close to the palace Dark Eldorai snipers were taking pod shots at loyalists, though Siobhan managed to get through to a Gunship to flush them out...hopefully.

"Right, HK, you're with me. You know the drill. Sciians have their shiny elemental powers and a lot more brains than True Reavers. Presumably they've also acquired human weapons, but enough firepower crushes them. And they don't have our experience by far...but they're fanatics to the core. Do your Siege Tower thing, I'll concussively battering ram them," she spoke to her droid friend as she surveyed their defensive line. Angelii guards, those whose loyalty could be counted on, had set up a firing line or rather several, of Eldorai shields, blasters, bolters, those armed with sarixi stood ready to leap into the breach. Ahead traps had been prepared, that they had in abundance.

Briefly movement could be heard and dozens of guns were raised, the guards about to let loose a volley before Kaida, wearing battered and scorched armour, stepped in, followed by some Angelii. "Just little old, non-traitorous me. Talon Taldir, reporting for duty and all that. Encountered some advance units of traitors in the upper corridor. Took care of them," she spoke, wiping some blood off her face. Perhaps some had a breath mint somewhere because it felt like some guts had splattered into her mouth.

Kal let go of his assumed form as the apparent rebels began moving on the palace. He liked the palace and it's pretty soft skin Queen. Why would anyone want to fight such people.

Kal began to wonder if his old barkside was cursed. It seemed he always turned up near conflict but the force moves as it chooses so what could he do. He moved rather quickly toward the flank of an enemy line and picked up a metallic rod or pipe. It was warm to the touch and he briefly nwondered who would heat a metal rod.

Calling on the force and using one of his few skills he embued the rod with force energy then shifted to his 2.5 meter natural form and crashed into a group of dark rebels.

His force rod swung pounding weapons from hands and breaking limbs as he went. He liked the Queen and these creatures needed a lesson in manners...
