She had signed on with Clan Mobius.

While it hadn’t been easy, Eden had managed to see the deal done after a short period of negotiations. However, she wished that she had paid more attention when Jaylen—one of her Model 1 brothers—warned her about how ornery Mandalorians could be. While his words hadn’t exactly gone in one audio sensor and out the other, the gynoid knew that she could have been better prepared for the icy welcome she had received. In that regard, Eden was relieved of her (relative) success in negotiating a contract. It would have been impossible to set a contract had she come in demanding a massive pile of credits for her services. Instead, her rate was relatively affordable and she had even slashed it in half during the negotiations. She wasn’t engaging in mercenary work to make herself wealthy, but for the sheer pleasure she derived from it.

In that regard, Eden had made her way to the Surbhir Tapcaf to try out Mandalorian caf and meet a particular Forgemaster who had agreed to assist her with building a couple new pieces of combat gear. The ability to enjoy food and drink was one of the quirks of her organic construction, which Eden wasn’t above taking advantage of. Before long, the gynoid had a hot vanilla latte in hand and soon, she found an empty booth to sit down in, while waiting for her contact to arrive.

Taking a sip of her latte, Eden licked her lips and gave a small sigh. The time and attention of a Mandalorian Forgemasters wasn’t exactly cheap and Eden was pressed for money as it was. The gynoid could only hope that whatever advice she gave regarding her combat gear was worthwhile and that perhaps, the Forgemaster might offer her some work or a deal to help offset the cost of her services.

If not, Eden didn’t mind going into debt. If anything, that was an excuse to take additional jobs and get herself into even more trouble!
