a little exploration never hurt nobody

A few months off from training was something needed for Fenn Drayen. He was always told that going to planets that where scarce with habitants and meditating would prove useful, and the idea stuck in his head. So next thing he knew, he was off to Kashyyyk. combat was something not intended, so Fenn didn't bother to bring his lighsaber, and worst comes to worst he had the force on his side. It wasn't easy to get the trip going but soon enough Fenn got what he wanted. food for a few days and a shuttle that he could easily lock up at a landing pad in one of the wookie's villages. The idea of going to this planet exited Fenn beyond beliefe, I few days on the uninhabited floor of Kashyyyk's forests would be quite a trip. It took a few hours of light speed to get there but finally the auto pilots buzzer sounded when the ship arrived at a small wookie village.

It just so happened HK was doing his favorite pasttime in Kashyyyk except wandering aimlessly- scamming the travellers into giving him a free ride somewhere else! And so just when Fenn landed, HK was already in the docks, watching the shuttle silently, he moved closer to wait for the ramp, greeting anybody who would come out with as friendly as his stoic, monotone voice can make words.
"Welcome to Kashyyyk, traveler, I am C3-P7 human-cyborg relations, would you be interested in tourist information about this place?"
HK was high in hopes of getting out of this middle of nowhere, surrounded by Wookies in a remote village, he had his robes on, they were simple, this time they weren't tattered, he could afford to buy new ones as his "disguise" now, some could recognize them to be in fashion of robes Jedi wore during Clone Wars.

The Reclaiming One

Conqueror of Worlds and Destroyer of Lesser Beings
Imagine, a supposed extinct species roaming around the lush forests of Kashyyk, looking for the ruins of the last Infinite Empire. It was something that one would not expect to see everyday, yet here So'Sha was traveling around the wookiee homeworld in search of the ancient Rakata structures that were sure to be hidden in its dense forests. He had started in the forests but ended up somewhere near another wookiee village, that was nowhere on the Predor's map. This was perfect, just perfect that Sith had convinced him he didn't require his guards so the creature was alone on a planet he had never set foot on before.

Just as the Predor was about to turn back, he heard the sound of a ship docking up ahead. Perhaps there was someone there who could point in him in the right direction. The Predor did not like asking primitives for directions, but this was a world that he had never been too so he knew his choices were slim.

Fenn looked at the hooded droid set before him. he had yet to learn to read droids so being carefull about his words was the best option. "hello C3-P7, I would be glad to have some information, do you know of any places on the bottom of the forest worth exploring?" Fenn sounded. There was a skeptical feeling about the droid that Fenn could pick up from the other wookies. They all seemed not to trust to machine, and some even feared it. The droid seemed to be wearing some sort of aged jedi robe, which struck an odd point. The droid definatly had something to hide, Fenn would have to keep his guard up.

HK looked at the Jedi, he was not sure what to make of the request, he calculated him to be another mad man.
"The Bottom of the Forest- Searching. Results found- The location you are asking is mostly unexplored, few Wookies go down there as it is extremely dangerous, filled with predators and little light travels through the dense canopy. It is another world beneath the green crowns of Kashyyyk, a world of darkness."
The droid folded his arms on his chest, they disappeared in the simple robes.
"Travelling alone is ill advised, at least without a guide if not proper escort."

Fenn let out a sigh. In his training he had heard of the infamous assassin droid known as the HK. the hero\villain Revan was fond of them, but this one was offering a guide, and without some protection and only having minor training in force combat it would prove difficult to find hidden jedi relics at the bottom of the dark canopy. "I could use a guide, but an assassin droid might not be worth the protection. your wearing jedi robes, probably killed of an innocent, and from the looks of it your personality drive has not been wiped recently. So how do I know you wont kill me?" Fenn questioned. Once again the force began to push visions into Fenns mind, of good and bad, the history of the planet played into his mind in a few seconds. the pain was unbearable, the mind of a 20 year old knight couldn't handle pure power of the force. then one more vision worked its way into the head of the jedi. A man walked the bottom of the forest canopy, he had a connection with the force but his past and future where dark. the force pushed the creatures face into Fenns head. The only thing that could come to his mind was "the reclaiming one". The force definitely had something in store for Fenn with this man.

The droid stared Fenn down at the accusations, seemed everyone in the Galaxy knew how an HK looked and what the deeds were of his "cousins", 36 couldn't remember when was the last time he killed anyone, or when he was in the fight at least.
"Seems it is pointless to try and associate myself with the protocol droids anymore."
The droid pushed his hood off of his large rusty and beaten head.
"And I did not killed a Jedi, not for these robes, not for any reason.. As far as I can remember."
It was true, he did not had any assassination prorities associtaed with Jedi, no reason to attack them in his programming, although there was not many reasons in his programming at all, and he was not sure of his origins, he could not make promises about them.
"I have heard of my infamous cousins as well, and I have had these accusations thrown at me before. I do not seem to be like them. And how do you know I will not kill you? I have been functioning for unknown period of time, my body is old and brittle, and you seem far more knowledgeble than a standard traveller that passes through. I do not have any assassination priorities in my protocols, I have no reason to attack you."

Fenn took in a deep breath and let it go. "Fine, I could use the programming that's stored up in that head of yours to help me around the forest. mind you my lightsaber is not needed for this exploration, so I didn't bring it.". This HK was noticeably different from others. HK droids wouldn't lie about their hatred for "meatbags" and their constant uncanny need to kill, and this one obviously wasn't lying.

Also occupying the area immediately adjacent to the space docks was Sparky. He was looking for a ride to Coruscant after successfully carrying out an assassination of a high profile wookie target. The assassination was beautiful, truly spectacular. It consisted of a trip down to the Shadowlands, defeating two armed bodyguards in close quarters combat and then forcing the wookie to kill itself with its own claws.

Anyways, the droid, which was now clean of blood, was about to ride a space hopper to Coruscant when he heard a familiar voice. A voice that sounded quite like his own. Stopping dead in his tracks, Sparky gazed around the docks, attempting to pinpoint the owner of the voice. Eventually, he locked photoreceptors on a robed figure talking to another robed man. Cautiously, Sparky approached the two, still listening to the conversation thanks to his sensitive audioreceptors.

The droid nearly experienced a system's crash as the robed figure revealed itself to be a HK droid. Well, it looked like one. It was adamant that it was just a protocol droid and referred to HK units like Sparky as 'cousins'.

What passed for a thought blossomed in binary within Sparky's processor.

This unit is severly malfunctioning.

When Sparky was within a few feet of the two, he played an audio track of throat clearing to make himself known. "Surprised statement: I have not seen another... Me... in a loooong time. Forever, in fact. This is quite an odd experience."

The droid nodded to Fenn's words, showing acknowledgement, extending his hand to him for a hand shake.
"Refer to me as HK-37."
Hearing the words spoken by another droid came as a surprise to him. The droid turned his head until his gaze rested on another HK, it was a different series, but he knew an HK when he saw one. There was only one thing he could say at this meeting.
"No."
After a moment he was able to add in
"I was hoping I was the last HK around. It seems one of you psychopaths still stalks this Galaxy."
Yep, this one was a self-hating HK, having no love for his "cousins" after hearing their tales of killings and assassinations.

"Annoyed statement: psychopath is the last word I would use to describe myself," Sparky mouthed off without hesitation. His central processor was perplexed by 1) meeting another HK and 2) meeting what seemed to be a pacifist model.

Adhering to self-preservation protocols, Sparky decided to play it safe and conceal his true nature. Possibly, his processor scrambled, this HK-37 is doing the same.

"Friendly introduction: I am a HK series replica protocol droid designed to eliminate communication issues between species and promote pacifism within violent communities. Ironic, using the HK design as a chasis, isn't it?" Sparky said, scanning the robed man as he did so. Human, he concluded, easily dispatchable.

"Query: What brings an assassin droid to Kashyyyk?" He asked, locking photoreceptors with HK-37.

The droid looked to Fenn then to droid, doing a double check himself.
"I have not had an assassination protocol active as long as my memory databanks reach."
He scanned over the other droid's build, not trusting him as anyone would not trust 37 in turn when meeting him for the first time.
I calculate chances of an HK droid programmed to be peaceful are slim
"My presence here is as good as a guess to me as to anybody, I do not travel to places, I find myself in them."
37 didn't had his rifle on him, it was hidden well in the village, only his newly replaced blaster pistol and training lightsaber.
"And I can ask you about your purpose here, as well. Ironic to their fierce appearance, Wookies are largely peaceful and gentle beings, much more so than humans are. They have tight family and community ties, a droid of your type would have little to no purpose among them."

If Sparky could narrow his eyes, he would. It took his central processor 0.0054 seconds more then usual to formulate a response to HK-37's doubt regarding Sparky's identity, mainly because the doubt was reasonable. There really was no point for Sparky to be here, at least as the droid he had proclaimed himself to be.

"Statement: I have been asked to research the Wookies natural peacefulness by the uh, End All Organic Violence society. It's very important research that may lead to breakthroughs in peace negotiation strategies... And stuff."

HK folded his arms on his chest, he knew the other droid was lying, he watched him carefully.
"Extraordinary day, I meet one of my cousins, and I witness a droid for a first time say 'uh' you seem to be stumbling over your words and having to come up with them on the spot."
He looked to Fenn once more then the droid.
"Accusation: I calculate you to be misinforming us."

As if...

Lamia Quresh was here with @The Reclaiming One, Predor of the Infinite Empire on their quest to examine the lost Rakatan colonies. And here she was, witnessing a dispute between two HK-series droids. She brought her lightsaber to her hand, but did not activate it Not yet...

Superior clarification: Both of you are nothing more then assassination droids, archaic tools of a bygone era. End All Organic Violence society... If such a thing existed, I would rather commit ritual suicide rather then to continue existing in such a pacifistic galaxy.

The droid turned to see Lamia with her lightsaber in her hand, he shifted uneasily with an exclamation of.
"Bless my circuits, a pureblood Sith."
Underneath his robes HK grabbed his lightsaber and pistol himself, he looked to Fenn, seeing if the Jedi was witnessing this as well then looked back to Lamia.
"Next thing they'll tell me, there's a Rakatta around.."

Sparky was just about to defend himself from 37's accusations when a newcomer arrived, one who was pure red and had a lightsaber in hand. A pureblood sith, as Sparky's cousin had put it.

"Observation: you seem intent on causing some mayhem. Oh how I would adore you if you did. I mean - I would shun you from my life and never talk to you again if you committed unsavory acts of violence!"

Sparky could never successfully conceal his true nature, but that wasn't the point here. He detected slight hostility in the woman's voice and was poised and ready to unsling his blaster rifle and render this particular organic destroyed.

"Warning: we're in a crowded spacedock, so blissfully killing organics would be met swiftly with this planet's pathetic security forces. But don't let that stop you."

A smile came to Lamia's face as she moved closer to the steel-grey HK unit.

I know the truth. Right now, you would love nothing more then to commit some wonderfully violent act at my side. What say you come with me and we find some innocents to eliminate on a world in the Unknown Regions?

From her viewpoint, she would be able to deflect a blaster bolt from the grey HK if it attacked her, and it gave her a position to keep an eye out on the rusted HK, as well as the Jedi.

Two of them. now it could get dangerous. And a dark jedi, Fenn reached out with the force to the arguing batch of hostiles and began to calm their angers. the sith was easy, the droids took some skill to lower the electricity passing through their hostility processors. Also Fenn took the sith by surprise by lifting the hilt out of her hand and sheathing it in her robes. "Now if you all would please calm down. I have no desire for a fight. so much more could be accomplished if we could just passively approach the problem, there is no emotion, there is peace." Fenn encouraged
