Mos Espa
As the Finch touched down at the Mos Espa spaceport and attendants gathered about to prepare for heiress's disembark, a cheerful Lily Kuhn playfully tapped and toyed with her datapad. Koros had been in a bit of a slowdown in business over the last few months, ever since life had gone from wacky to happy. But today - or really for a while now - Lily was putting all of that behind her. It was like her holonote had said, 'Today is the first day of the rest of my life!'. That wasn't to say that the plateauing profits that Koros had been experiencing would be overlooked, if anything it was her focus on business that was taking the wheel now.
A quiet alert was plastered over the time on the datapad, signifying that she'd arrived at the spaceport on Tatooine, and a momentary shake and subsequent stabilization of the cabin affirmed it. In a way, she was home. A home away from home, anyways. A friend, her step-mother actually, had made it big here, and now she was back on the arid world for a bit of business of her own. Business with the reigning government, that is - the Techno Union. Her secretary, Leena Haven, had made her aware of a request for the purchase of all the Fortress-class Cruisers that Koros Spaceworks had produced and planned to produce - the rights to the production line, really.
It was going to be an easy deal, the plan was to come in with a figure for the Union to pay, and Koros would immediately sign over the ships upon approval. She doubted there'd be any real hassle, unless they wanted more made - that might be out of the scope of their finances at the moment, at least for now. A bid for a contract, however, might change that in the long run.
