"Indeed, though do recall there are neither friends nor allies when it comes to commerce. Only associates..." The Neimoidian offered some parting remarks, feeling quite satisfied with himself as Ducha Aurellia Aurellia agreed to the Trade Federation's conditions, meaning that his gamble had worked.

They were more than willing to accept another proposal when the first one required relinquishing the very asset they relied upon to maintain autonomy from the Galactic Alliance. Although the Rifle Worlds would regrettably fall outside his jurisdiction, the Corsair Outbacks would offer essential commercial storage and shipbuilding facilities for their merchant fleet.

An overall satisfactory day by any standard, and as the now acknowledged Queen of Hapan faded from the holographic displays, Dod leaned towards the nearby OOM-1 Battle Droid Commander, "Commander, begin hyperspace travel at once. Allow the Alliance delegation to stumble as they typically do in such circumstances. Regrettably, the previous Queen's assassin could not be present; otherwise, we could have delivered her for further rewards." He observed the flash of ion cannons from the bridge, realizing it was time to disperse before the Black Sun Syndicate inflicted damage on his convoy, as these battleships were becoming costly to repair, and the Trade Monarch would not be pleased.

It did not take long for the Battleships to begin jump sequence as their hyperdrives kicked in and the convoy was phased out of existence in a long journey back to hidden Trade Federation strongholds beneath the notice of the Galactic Empire.

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Alexandra remained waiting at that point, letting the queen discuss the matter if she needed to and all the while her thoughts wandered it was only when Quinn revealed themselves more completely that Alexandra's eyes would track over to her once more. The feeling was quite familiar, infact it was almost nostalgic and rather than fear or pain, Quinn would actually see a momentary glance that made her smile. It was a reaction someone would have as if to see an old friend after so long and her thoughts wandered on to Krest who she had not seen in such a long time.

The man had been someone she desperately wished she had not failed, and while Quinn's presence and actions did chill through to Alexandra's form they would in tern be able to notice two things about Alexandra's own presence now. The first being that Alexandra's soul seemed to have been cleaved in two, that half of it was no where near them and far away on a distant world. The other was the dark corruption, an old and ancient stench of darkside that now wrapped its way around Alexandra's being. Closing around Alexandra's neck like a serpent as she just smiled and turned her gaze back to Aurellia.

The reaction she had that she refused to show physically was there though. That corruption seeping into Alexandra just a little bit more, her cough she continued to keep behind her sleeve but the crimson tint of blood clear if someone looked close enough.

That all said, it was when the situation changed further that Alexandra gave a raised brow to Mauve du Vain Mauve du Vain and Aurellia Aurellia , curious what was being discussed. It would not be long before she had her answer, her gaze watching and Aurellia seeming to accuse the Alliance of what crime was being reported. She looked towards the side for a moment, allowing her form to leave her body for a brief moment, a blink of an eye and then for it to return just as if nothing had happened.

"I see... It seems we have become unwitting fools in this moment Vice Admiral." She looked at Tavius Rhyven and nodded towards the exit.

"We will not stay if that is your wish. All of what I said remains true, and while it is clear you believe such, the Alliance has no hand in whatever crime is occurring. Thank you for listening to our requests and the further offerings of the Alliance today." She would turn after that, waiting for Tavius to join her as she gave him a silent look simply to tell him it was not worth addressing anything further today.

From there she walked, silently thinking over what figure might have attacked the Hapes while the Galactic Alliance had continued their works. Perhaps it was a Sith? Though based on the reaction she wondered if it was someone connected to the Alliance that the new Queen did not think to explain to Alexandra.

"Admiral, I am not your superior officer, and I already doubt it would be someone from the Alliance given that ground operations were not coordinated with the Defense Committee, but if it is an Alliance member please ensure the individual is arrested and delivered to the Queen. Whoever this is, killing of innocents is the act of someone like the Imperials we fight against." She would simply say, boarding the dropship that had ferried them over to the Hapan Battle Dragon.

From there she would remain quiet, letting the ship bring them back so that they may leave.

"And please, inform the 10th Sector Armada we may need a screen if they decide to accuse us further and with more violent intentions."

“It would seem so,” he said in agreement with the senator.

His datapad was blowing up with reports of a terrorist attack on Hapes targeting specifically females. This was likely the work of the same organization that had been responsible for the attacks on previous royalty, the Crimson Veil. But, if there was someone else involved in this, he was certain that the SIA would be all over it. Any actions that might be orchestrated by Alliance personnel, or even Alliance citizens, that resulted in terrorist acts like this would be treated as the terrorists they were, not given quarter. The senator really needn’t request that treatment.

“I’m certain that when the SIA investigates they’ll figure out if anyone from the Alliance was involved and I’ll personally see to it they’re delivered to the ones who will punish them.”

He made sure that was loud enough for Aurellia and them to hear. He had no love for terrorists. Honorable battle was the way to resolve disputes that could not be resolved diplomatically. Terrorism was the action of cowards who used others to make their point. He didn’t necessarily agree with the way the Hapans ruled themselves. Restrictions that placed a gender as second class were barbaric and uncivilized, in his opinion. However, it was their right to rule as they did and if someone wanted to change that, they should find the means to do so without resorting to randomly assassinating women in the streets of Hapes or any other world. That was not a means to achieving their goals, it was a means to making things worse.

Following along with the Senator, he was issuing orders on the fly. With the attack being directly blamed on them, despite no evidence to support it, it was clear they were dealing with a hostile government. He issued orders to hasten withdrawal, and, if necessary, burn everything within the bases physically, or destroy the data with viruses. There would be nothing left to be found by anyone when they were done with cleaning the house. If the Black Sun hoped to get anything by this, they wouldn’t.

Additionally, he sent an alert to all withdrawing forces to anticipate continued hostilities from Hapan forces. They were free to defend themselves, but only if directly fired upon. Additionally, all Hapan personnel within the fleet were to be officially escorted at all times until such time as they were relieved of duty to ensure that no terroristic reprisals were the result of the cowardly acts that had been committed against the Hapans. Such actions would not be tolerated, and anyone caught engaging in them would be incarcerated, regardless of the wishes of the Hapan Queen and her government.

“Things are in motion. We’ll be covered if they decide to attack as we withdraw.”

Turning away from them, Aurellia moved to take the captain's chair.

"Charge ion cannons. Oh, and someone let The Madclaw know of the turn of events. I do know his crew was eager."

"Your Majesty, if I may, we got something t'return to its
rightful owner."

Ithorians could speak extremely loudly. Four throats. Quite powerful.

With a swirl of his cloak, Jerec came over to the captain's chair and brought with him the finely crafted repulsor display case. He opened the glass top and gingerly took out one of his most prized possessions: the crown of the last two queens of Hapes. It was a lovely spikey thing that he'd worn in good health and happiness for days now. It had recently been the subject of a comprehensive clean and polish. He held the crown delicately and knelt before Queen Aurellia Aurellia on the theory that her crowning herself was the stronger visual.

"May y'wear it in good health forever."

Just goodwill, no overtones or undertones. They wouldn't have got past the echoes anyway. He'd overdone it a bit.

The laughter I received from Quinn was genuine. I could feel it even without her words. It was good to see her in such a mood. Even if what was happening here was rather serious. The current takeover was still going on. Her words reached my ears. She was taunting a good time provided her further ideas for which she could perform. With a laughing tone of not making promises to not do the same. I shook my head lightly as I kept my vision ahead. Listening and watching what was happening. When that changed.

A presence showed up. One that was greatly different from typical Jedi and their Lamp of the force. Even before Quinn had made mention of it, I could feel it. Zeroing upon the would be individual. Its signature was old. Clearly been around a long time. However, it was subdued in power. Held back. Likely their codes from what I could tell and understand. However, there was something deeper and darker underneath. As if it was split. Shattering within the presence.

Already I could feel what Quinn was doing. Exposing who she really was. For some time now I knew that she had a part of a great relic within her. She was heavily changed because of it just as I was. While her energy and power was that of a relic. Refined, formed, shaped. I was much more wild. The presence of energy that was shifting. Spawn of the Sith in its truest form. I was uniquely different from other Spawn. I was perfected. Behind the energy was a caged beast that was kept low and in control. Green Witch-fire eyes could peer through this force connection before it flowed into nothingness. As if all of this was suddenly absent within the force. The complete opposite of what it should be. There was no void. No voice or signature. Just nothing. As if the very skin I wore was vibrating through every molecule just close enough to be an image, but not actually there.

The smile broke across my face as the Jedi clearly was seeking us out. Testing who and what we were. Very well. Quinn spoke about their lack of civilized natures. How they were becoming interesting with this poking and prodding to see who would be the one to actually do something first.

“Might?.”

The single word spoken as I stood up. My hands removed any wrinkles in my clothing from the suit I wore. Before taking a few steps forward. Hands held behind my back in a parade rest. Watching as herself and others started to filter out and leave. The smile brightened with a toothy grin.

“Jedi, always teasing how broken they truly are.”
