Unsatisfied with the paltry damage output of heavy blasters and grenade launchers, the Empire of the Lost tasked Tamspon Consolidated with creating a heavier weapon system. They wanted their troops to be capable of destroying military vehicles, starfighters, and support craft. Tampson Consolidated responded by creating the 4P-C Portable Phased Pulse Plasma Cannon. The weapon is man-portable only with a generous definition of portable, but it is a weapon capable of taking on the toughest battlefield threats.
Due to the nature of coherent plasma pulses, the superheated plasma 'splashes' from the impact point, creating searing heat that damages troops unfortunate enough to be standing nearby where the plasma pulse hits. It is hard to imagine a more potent and effective anti-materiel weapon that can be carried by a human being. When the enemy brings Walkers, when starfighters are strafing your troops, and when gunships loom overhead, the 4P-C is the answer.
And it is an answer you will only have to give once.
