Shortly following the widespread news that Csilla had been destroyed in its entirety, nearly every public holonet channel was simultaneously hijacked by a rogue broadcast that repeated the same message over and over again. The voice which spoke the message was heavily augmented, the voice unrecognizable to the galactic populace, though it brimmed with utter malice.
CSILLA WAS THE FIRST.
THERE WILL BE UNCOUNTED MORE TO FOLLOW.
THE SHROUD OF THE DARK SIDE FALLS ACROSS THE GALAXY.
SUBMIT OR BE CONSUMED.
THE SITH ARE ETERNAL.
The message would continue until the broadcast was blocked or destroyed at its source. Those sources appeared to be transceiver buoys spread randomly throughout the galaxy, amplified by piggybacking off of official stations and other locations to reach nearly every corner of the galaxy.
It would be a dire clarion call for what was to come.
Unfortunately its last sentence was forgotten by the edgy fingers of a stupid operator called Bob.
AND WE DRESS VERY WELL.
WE ALSO HAVE DENTAL OK?
AND WE LIKE TO MAKE BARBECUES OVER THE MALIPHANT'S HOUSE, BUT YOU HAVE TO BRING YOUR OWN DRINK OK? HE DOESN'T LIKE PEOPLE GOING THROUGH HIS PEN LIKE SOME DIRTY MANDALORIAN.
Unexpectedly, the world of Csilla has been a long standing planet that helped the Starchaser clan. When Coren and his unit went rogue from the Imperial life style, they found themselves in the arms of the Chiss, working as outsiders, as expendable explorers, navigators and mercenaries. The ice world was not as strong a part of the Starchaser lineage, but it was where his first son was born.
Living the life of a Wayseeker, Coren has held himself away from the greater galactic conflict, and focusing on bolstering the Jedi, finding his place in the galaxy, and dealing with passing the torch onto the next generation of warriors.
The destruction on Csilla was felt rippling through the galaxy. As one of the Jedi, and with a special connection to the world, it was a feeling he had felt only once before, during the Breaking of Corellia. He knew immediately what it was.
And that was when Porter had received the signal.
Looking to the droid, Coren nodded. “Porter, set course for Corellia.”
