Not quite so out with the old...

But sure enough, in with the new. Over the duration of the Bryn'adûl's time as a Major Faction, it has prided itself on its unique lore, being entirely homebrew and the only Faction comprised of a singular species. The latter is about to change, with the introduction of four brand new species. Complete with their own lore and cultural integration into the greater whole that as the Bryn'adûl alongside the mighty Draelvasier! This is building on what was set by the Draelvasier writers; allowing the Faction to expand as the story of the Draelvasier and the Bryn'adûl has evolved.

The species are linked via the images for further reading.

Introductions - From left to right.

Hive workers, invertebrate humanoids. Their physical forms a composition of softer muscle tissue-like joints and dense and rigid plates of cells. Some of their race are light, flying with wings whilst others are terrifyingly strong.

They are a tribal worker species, capable workers with competitive streak. However all in service to a greater Matriarch. When the Bryn'adûl found their planet, the Akhenaton had built great structures resembling hive-like cities. Impressed by their homogeny with nature and the diverse skills among their races, the Bryn'adûl began the process of integrating them into their society by engaging with talks with their Matriarch. When promising to teach them of all the Drael knew of the Galaxy, education them on the corruption beyond their boarders. Soon the Bryn began to technological uplift the species, advancing their already impressive construction abilities as they installed education centres and slowly began to incorporate them militarily as well.

All Akhenaton are subservient to their great Matriarch, all telepathically tied to her through individual bonds made upon each birth. This allowed the species to adopt to the Bryn'adûl
Mind Stones, able to apply their impressive teamwork to the Bryn'adûl military. The smallest of their races, the Amariatu are used as scouts and assassins. Their ability to fly allowing them to traverse long distances silently whilst the Rattolijan serve as powerful warriors, working alongside the Juggernauts of the Bryn'adûl.

The Akhenaton have been fully galvanised into the societal culture of the Bryn'adûl. Whilst the meritocratic values of the Bryn do not translate as efficiently to the Akhenaton's as the Draelvasier would wish, it has become clear to the Akhenaton's that the rest of the Galaxy as an active threat to their way of life; to the harmonious coherence of purposeful existence between all living beings. This sense of purpose, is indeed something the Akhenaton's have fixated on in their joining of the Bryn'adûl, with new found purpose under the guise of new and strong leadership the Akhenaton's have found assured liberty in readiness to fight and die for true purpose by the will of the Chieftain and their Matriarch.

Elegant and proud, layered with thick hardened skin and saurian features, digi-grade legs and hooved feet. Their faces, set with mandibles and sunken reptilian eye. They are experts of terrain, physically powerful and very fast.

Honour bond and logical to a fault, these are the Warriors of Caerdar. They place a focus on marksmanship and swordsmanship. They are a military warrior race, once locked in warfare among their own kind were liberated by the Draelvasier. Just like the Akhenaton the Bryn'adûl began to assimilate the Vaydralen, a much easier task than any of the others given their meritocratic outlook on life. The value placed on combative ability and honour is equal to that of their overseers. Furthermore the Vaydralen live in a strict manner, placing high emphasis on immaterial values and resilience to emotion. They also believe in harmony between nature and life, giving respect to the soil beneath their hooved-feet. This mindset, shared by their species helped with adapting to the lifestyle of the Bryn'adûl, giving them something to fight other than themselves.

The Vaydralen are a species who rely primarily on logic, suppressing their emotions to place an emphasis on things they consider more important. Yet even so their pride and ego shines through in their value of honour. Fighting alongside the Draelvasier and the other species of the Bryn'adûl has come naturally to these warriors risen from the bronze age of their civilisation. They operate cohesively with the military arms of the Bryn, becoming impressive Artificers of their naval forces, elite warriors and strategists among the Bryn'adûl.

They are a warrior people, through and through. They similarly to their overseers place high emphasis on personal combative ability and honour. This made their way of live easily transitional to the Bryn'adûl and Draelvasier way of thinking, adopting them into their occult and militant way of life. However in their naivety they were easily convinced of the truth, reported stated by the Ish'makra of the Bryn'adûl. Just as the Draelvasier do, the Vaydralen truly believe that the genocide of the Galaxy is the only true path to strength and personally for them; restoring harmony and balance between the natural and the sapiens.

Tall, hulking humanoids adorned with a thick carapace and incredible strength. The de-facto leaders of the Bryn'adûl are well known throughout the Galaxy. Having fought and consecutively won against military adversaries larger than themselves from Eshan to Sarka across the span of nearly ten years. The Draelvasier have risen up from the ashes of an ancient, broken planet. Beginning as a fledgling clone race following the ambitions of a singular lone survivor of a species, they have now become one of the dominant species in the Galaxy. The Draelvasier now populating close to fourteen percent of habitable planets.

The Drael follow a strict code of tenets, believing in strength through all things with a sincere hatred of weakness brought up by the known Galaxy. They follow a system of occult, militant beliefs that place emphasis on purpose and achievement through the will to surpass any adversity. They are a warrior race with no equal. The Drael have a love for sport and honour, testing ones self against the greatest of foes to better themselves and prove their worth within a meritocratic society. The Draelvasier also have a fondness for trophies, proof of worth through physical items. Typically, their most prized trophies are 'marked' using tools that imbed memory into inscriptions. These allow the Drael to relieve memory after memory as they wish.

The progenitors of the Bryn'adûl are divided into three races; the Baedurin, Aeravalin and Sraelvun. The Baedurin are the iron fist of the military, their infamous Juggernauts, Commanders, Zeaots and naval leaders. The Aeravalin are the masters of beasts, powerful force warriors that make up their Seers, Shaman, Warlocks and Zealots as well. The Sraelvun, their Drones are the cannon fodder, the meat of the army. The Draelvasier as a species are social, industrious and creative. They are frontier geneticists and experts in biomechanics. Their technology so very alien to the rest of the Galaxy.

For many years, the Draelvasier have been an incredibly xenophobic species. Extermination trillions, dozens of species wiped clean off the map or turned into an endangered species scattered across the Galaxy. Now, they have began to amass the local primitives to their side, elevating them and education them to fight alongside them as brethren.

The Ungulloi are a race of anthropoid creatures, thick gravely skin compliments carapace covered arms and legs. They are cunning, cowardly and sometimes lazy. However equally industrial and incredibly talented with ionic and sonic creations as well as steam and coal based proto-industrial technologies. They are broad, with long arms and a slim torso, bulky spaced out legs and small bulbous heads. They have three digit claw like fingers and two short stubby legs with long arms that reach their ankles, able to walk on all fours with them. The Ungulloi, due to the nature of their hostile planet typically development into adulthood in a matter of months.

The adversity of their planet has formed their personalities, being easily defined by three traits; cowardly, industrial and cunning. They are sometimes social, even with other species but they are also very vicious in combative terms; baring teeth and snarling like the little cretins that they are. When the Bryn'adûl discovered the unassuming species, they were impressed by the sheer will to survive that the Ungulloi embodied. As strong as humans, and far more mechanically intelligent with a studious expertise in ionic technology. They used steam and charcoal, giant automatons helping them survive the massive beasts of their home-world.

The Ungulloi have found a valuable place among the Bryn'adûl as excellent engineers and artificers. Whilst not particularly dangerous alone, the Ungulloi if threatened will come back, and in greater numbers. Plus an automaton.

The Kraemonen are an evolution of experiments such as Crellderath, telepathic worms that are capable of interfacing with technology; specialised in interfacing with the Bryn'adûl technology and their Mind Stones. The Kraemonen form together in hives of varying sizes, homogenising into a seemingly singular hive-mind sentient organism, using the Mind Stones as a way to organic themselves through a pre-existing network. This includes their neural pathways, which are able to link with whatever they touch, using their many legs as conduits for. However this link is drastically inferior without the Mind Stones. The Kraemonen are inherently territorial and reserved, they are a peaceful species outside of war time but are also inherently submissive to their creators. They can be communicated with through the Mind Stones used by the Bryn'adûl or simply through telepathy. The Kraemonen can imitate nearly anything they so wish. For example, the Kraemonen could fill out the missing motors or mechanical elements of a walker to allow it to function, or fill out a suit of armour to replicate the physical form an act as a basic humanoid.

The Kraemonen began as organic technology designed to operate in similar functions to wires/mechanical structures or whatever purpose the Bryn'adûl required. However overtime, through connection to the Mind Stones and Draelvasier technology the Kraemonen eventually developed into their own species, capable of sentient existence. This happened as the Kraemonen learned through the Mind Stones.

Thusly, the Draelvasier had unwittingly created a new species entirely unlike their own but built upon the same foundations of adapting to survive. When the Kraemonen gathered, they formed their first hivemind. A hivemind is a gathering of hundreds of individual Kraemonen; their telepathic abilities becoming compounded upon one and other to in essence when in the presence of a Mind Stone, create a being.

Living crafts, machinations. They become symbiotic to constructs and power. They became an equal, a powerful force of labour as they worked to serve the Bryn'adûl in their great mission.

The Pitch.
The Bryn'adûl needs writers to help helm and flesh out these new species joining the ranks of the Draelvasier. Working to evolve the Faction together alongside the Drael writers.

Lobster together strong.
