Issue #2 of Underworld Tales

Greetings listeners it is good to have you back! It is good to be back! Today we have the latest from the underworld, the seedy news that seeps into our galaxy day by day. Fear not, Underworld Tales has you covered to keep you up to date on just who is in your backyard, what they were doing there and why they didn't wipe up their garbage when they left.

Replacement parts for older model speeders have taken a hit across the galaxy, with prices soaring. The Haxion Brood and the Zann Consortium are at each others throats over the usually peaceful industry, with rumors of tit for tat killings and sabotage between the rival criminal organizations. Several minor underworld names are currently in hiding and obviously reputable operations are currently on hold. It seems these benevolent chop shops that provide our fine galaxy with quality replacement parts can't stop chopping each other!

The Crymorah syndicate and the Uos Crime Family feud continues with no clear winner, currently at a stalemate. Rumors have it a massacre on Nar Shadda took place just last week but this hasn't been confirmed by any of Nar Shadda's usually fine credible local sources. While we are not sure if anyone will miss them, it has left a terrible mess in many well known bars. The sad truth is you dear patrons may have to drink at home for a week or two, while people pull thermal detonators out of nearby walls.

Sources close to the consortium have it the Pyke Syndicate's influence is once again growing in Hutt controlled space, with the Exchange not far behind. Authorities have yet to identify how much their influence has grown but if the sources are to be believed it is significant. Many residents in the core fear an upturn in smuggling and the spice trade. When one Syndicate member was asked to comment he said "huh?" Clearly these people are holding their cards close to their chest.

If you believe the rumors. The so called Triads, or the Boogeyman of the rim are making gains in different locations, with different minor gangs being drawn to the promise of big credits for little work. Its rumored a Zabrak prince promised them a fortune if they just signed up their account details. Astutely the Ranc gang seem to be among them, taken in by this promise of wealth. We can only say dear listeners that if you can't trust a Zabrak prince promising you easy money, who can you trust!
