The Sound of Fireworks echoed across the skies of Xa Fel as the people celebrated in the streets of the Capital City. Upon learning the news that Exegol had been destroyed by the Galactic Alliance and the subsequent collapse of the Brotherhood of the Maw, the people of Xa Fel had taken to the streets of their cities with the intent to revolt against their Mawite overlords, only to find the streets empty as if they had withdrawn from the planet completely. Regardless this did not deter them as they began to celebrate relieved that they had regained their freedoms at last.

As they celebrated within the streets, they began cheering with celebration phrases “Down with the Maw”, “Long live the Alliance” and “Freedom” while simultaneously setting on fire dozens of buildings and complexes that were used by the occupying forces for administrative purposes and garrison duties. However, what the people of Xa Fel did not know was that they had fell straight into a trap set up by the Final Dawn in anticipation of a potential Mawite defeat on Exegol. In the midst of the planet-wide celebrations and riots, the faint screeching sounds of TIEs could be heard at a distance, which only grew louder in intensity.

Soon enough the large crowds assembled in the Capital City began to notice and began looking for the source of the noise, eventually realizing the threat they were up against. Approaching the Capital were waves of Final Dawn TIE Annihilators with three Star Destroyers looming over the horizon behind them. Immediately, the cheering and celebrations came to a sudden halt as the people watched in terror as the TIEs grew larger as they closed in on the capital before all hell broke loose as people began to scramble for safety. However given the density of the crowd it devolved into stampeding as people ended up shoving one another and trampling others.

Unfortunately for the people of Xa Fel, there was no place where they would be safe as the TIEs finally flew overhead dropping their ordinance upon the large crowds and nearby buildings with their pilots showing no remorse as they angled their fighters to allow the rear gunners to viciously open fire upon the crowds which at that point had shifted from proud chants to terrified screaming as they ran for their lives. As the TIEs completed their bomber runs, the Star Destroyers in the distance began to unload their compliments as dozens of Troop Transports could be seen being deployed from their ventral hangars as they headed towards the Capital City.

Eventually, the Troop Transports would make landfall, unleashing hundreds of Final Dawn Purification Troopers which began to spread out across the Capital proceeding to brutally detaining any survivors and ruthlessly eliminating any that put up any sort of resistance whether it were verbal insults or physical assaults, in the wake of Exegol any sort of resistance was to be crushed with lethal force regardless of age, gender and species. As such throughout the rest of the day the Final Dawn would proceed to clear out the remaining pockets of resistance while imposing strict martial law across the Planet putting down the uprising as rapidly as it began.

Throughout the Maw Corridor, similar events played out. On Selvaris, celebrations and riots broke out before they were also brutally put down by Final Dawn Forces while on Foerost only minor disturbances occurred with small revolts and riots all of which were put down in a similar manner. Batorine itself experienced no disturbances whatsoever given the local population’s close collaboration with the Final Dawn.

The Destruction of Exegol had given the people living within the Maw Corridor a glimpse of hope, of the possibility of finally being free from the Maw. However, as recent events showed, their dreams of freedom were still far from being realized now that they were firmly under the Iron Boot of the Final Dawn as they tightened their grip over the Maw Corridor through the implementation of new draconian laws meant to keep the rebellious population in check. Yet another reminder that despite the collapse of the Brotherhood of the Maw, the Final Dawn remained stronger than ever ready to face any challenge that would rise against them.
